Bella Swan, shy and independent, 23 year old surgical technologist, has lived in Port Jervis all her life. Same stuff different day, is her usual mantra. How will the arrival of the new Doctor in town change things?
This is a Edward/Bella story, which is all human, with canon couples. The story, which is centered around a hospital, is not your typical medical based drama. It takes place in the operating room, where two people from two different sides of the surgical spectrum meet. There is not only romance and drama. There will be Angst and a crap load of humor too. Plus this is rated M for language and future lemons. Please enjoy! FYI this is my first Fanfic and is not Beta'd. So I apologize a head of time for any grammatical errors that there may be. The first few chapters are short, but hold on tight, for they do get longer. This story might just surprise you. I love it and hope you all do too. Please leave a review. It was sooo Bella, to help Rose see the value of her own strength and how she's succeeded with her life, despite the past tragedy. I also think "they are a great group of people"--the Cullen family. They're so supportive, while also teasing each other in such humorous ways. One of my favorite things, about this whole story is the humor! The part about Edward and the Advil was cute---he does have a lot to learn about having one female constantly in his life.
Emmett missed a wonderful chance to rib Bella, after her remark to Mia about girls needing to keep their dresses down (especially around boys); he might tease her about it later. Of course, he had already teased her some; also, he knows she can punch him again. When the talk about baseball occurred (and there was so much mentioned about Bella distracting Edward), there was so much staring and smiling by him toward her---I almost expected him to spontaneously propose to her, right there, in front of his whole family. He must know that she'll say YES, once she's sure he's really said it.
Just love this story. Thanks so much for updating often.

Emmett did miss a good one...and for a minute there thought he was going to say something like "So says the Pantie Queen" ...lol...but he must have been taking a nap or something ...lol...and yes they were stareing each other down --- Edward loves her with one of those --- "That's my girl isn't is the Best Thing Ever" & "She can do anything she wants - I'm Shameless" kind of loves....

'Loved this story. It was soooo sweet. But also had lots of detail, great characters, enough suspense. I don't usually care for tatoos, but this Edward was no less appealing with his tatoos. It was a different twist for the story to start with a little girl befriending the lonely Edward. 'So many supportive characters, who made Edward feel loved.
Was there a particular meaning to Edward's tatoos, or were they just some way to appear tough? I thought I remembered him telling Bella that he would explain their meaning?

Bella jumped to a conclusion and she might have been a bit hard on Edward, but she has a negative history with Sam as her only frame of reference. Also, even if she didn't really believe Edward was guilty, she showed him that he is valuable to her---with her possessiveness. Since there was a time that she didn't take him seriously, about the two of them having a relationship, he likely appreciates her possessiveness (now that they've cleared-up the misunderstanding).

This chapter really had some great parent-child moments and talks between Edward and Maggie. I AM a parent, of two twenty-something sons, and I loved the wise & loving advice Edward gave Maggie. Thanks for writing!
