OK, honestly, I have no idea where this chapter came from.   You totally screwed us out of their first time - or what we thought was going to be their first time.   How did we get here, and why the hell is Jasper walking in on them?   If this is NOT a dream or some sort of misunderstanding - like Edward trying to fix Bella's a clog in Bella's drain - then I'm kind of mad.

Not sure what this chapter was about, but I really hope it was just a joke.

OK, I know this can't possibly be what it seems, right?  Edward is not fooling around with Tanya is he?    Maybe she's just helping him with his ....something?

I can totally relate to Bella's letter to God.  I often write those in my head, sometimes just say all that out loud, like a prayer.   I know that what Edward did wasn't that bad, but in the bigger picture he broke Bella's trust and faith in him and in their relationship, and after everything she's been through in her past that is a big deal.

Well, that went better than I expected!  I didn't think she's talk to him at all.  And, Edward isn't dead!   I really would love Bella's POV - how accurate is Edward's summation of Bella?   Is she a drunk?    Is she a druggie?   Is she really the big of a slut?

She's obviously filling some very big voids with other vices meant to numb the pain...if it's all true.

Wow, this is so sad.  Bella was with Mike and he cheated on her too?   I don't believe that she loved him, though....it doesn't add up.   I wonder if she really did try to kill herself after Charlie died, though?

I am intrigued by the concept here but a little leary of Edward being a deceiver with Bella.   He really seems to be a player and Maria was/is a golddigger, so I can't wait to see what happens when he meets Bella...will it be intense right away or will she sneak up on him?

Wow, I love it!   I actually was a little leary of reading something that might be so melancholy or depressing, but this wasn't at all.   I mean it's sad that Jake died and Bella has to raise their child alone, but I like the way that Jake is there to encourage her and not make her cry over him even more.  He's like her cheerleader and I think that means that she will be able to move on easier.

Edward is definitely intriguing and I want to know more about his story.  Is this whole thing going to be in Bella's POV or will we hear some Edward too?   I love that there has been a little shift to canon - gay ben, Angela married to someone else,  Esme as the hospital admin., Charlie and Renee still married, a daughter NOT name Renesmee (hee hee).    I'm looking forward to what you have coming up.

How often do you plan to update?   I am behind a couple chapters on Trip, but excited that I'll have more to look forward to from you!   When's the next update?!

Wow, that was really hot!  I'm trying to figure out what the plot of this will be...I'm a little worried about the angst, the OOC, the weird little vibe I'm afraid of.  I mean, he's a professional athlete, right?  He's tempted all the time, right?   Is there going to be cheating?

OH those damn high school kids!  Always getting themselves into trouble.  I really hope that these two stick together and will be able to handle a baby coming too.   I can't believe James and Jessica pulled this little scheme for money?!   Whose money were they going after?  I don't quite understand that part, but glad that E&B worked out their differences!

Oh. My God!  I am crying right now...they remind me of my grandparents who were giddy in love until the day they died!

Well, I started this on FF and have followed you here.  This is one emotional chapter...poor Bella.  She's been through hell and back.  I really hope that she has a therapist here now, because what she went through and the drugs she's on require good medical care.   Hopefully Edward will help her heal like she wants him to, and they will be able to deal with the baggage of her past with James.

Sounds like Edward could use some healing too, so I'm looking forward to these two getting to know each other and developing a relationship!

Oh man, can you say 180?  That was a totally unexpected, crazy-ass chapter!  WTF?  I am just spinning thinking about how quickly this story changed!   I had not expected any of this chapter and it seems like this is going to end badly...like Bonnie and Clyde!   Lord, please tell me they're not going down in a blaze of glory...

Wow, that was some encounter in the parking lot!  I hope he kept some wipes in his glove box because all I can think about is trying to clean Bella off before they go back inside!   LOL - well I was thinking about the hot sex too...!

I'm almost afraid to read the next chapter because I'm afraid this is going to get really dramatic if Charlie is really dead and Esme is happy about it.   And if he's not dead, then they're going to be fugitives any way you look at it...

Love this story and have been following you on FF.net, but so happy to see that you've also posted here.  I hope you'll keep updating here as well.  Love your writing and this storyline.  Sorry to see that chapter 10 isn't posted here yet, but looking forward to more of the story!

I'm so sorry that you had to live through what you did, but glad that you could tell your story through Edward and Bella.  Many of us have been through similar situations, although mine was not quite as severe nor did it have the same outcome as Bella's.  Unfortunately, my abuser threatened not me, but my family, if I told anyone and I lived in fear for several months while he continued to emotionally, mentally and yes, physically take out his anger on me.  When he finally broke one of my ribs, I used my anger to finally tell him off, and told my parents what was going on.  It really helped to know that I wasn't alone, and that his threats were empty.  Once I took his power away and he knew that he couldn't really hurt me or my family, he left me alone. It probably helped that my father owned guns...lots of them.

If you're being hurt by someone close to you don't stay silent!  You have to tell someone.  Physical abuse is about having power and control over someone, and abusers are insecure bullies who use fear to control their victims. Thanks for sharing this with everyone, and I hope it brings awareness to the physical abuse that can take place when girls don't stand up for themselves.

OH hell yes!  So sounds like Tanya has been sleeping with her agent?

I don't understand why this chapter breaks here...the cadence of this story is throwing me a bit, and that chapter you said was a cliffie just sort of ended.  The breaks don't make sense sometimes.  I have been waiting to read groups of chapters together so that I am more satisfied, but I must admit I'm still having trouble following your breaking points.  I do love the story and can't wait for more, but the last part of this chapter where they talk about some alien movie makes no sense in the context of the story.  What happened with Tanya?!  That's what should be here.  I want to to know what happened when she walked into the nursery...and saw Bella nursing her son!

Glad things are finally moving along....although Edward is being way too much of a gentleman after all this time!  I respect that he respects Bella, but man, just go for it!  ;-)

I find it ironic that this fancy, 5-star Hollywood/Bev Hills Hotel doesn't have a fleet of cars and a private driver available to take a famous celebrity like Edward Cullen anywhere he wants to go (not to mention the fricking hospital) at a moment's notice!  Guess Tanya was being cheap when she booked that suite!

Man, no matter how attractive and sexy Tanya may be physically, she is repugnant because of how selfish, self-centered, self-serving and self-absorbed she is.  She outright lied to her fiance about her own child when she told Edward that she texted Bella and Charlie was OK.  This woman deserved public humiliation, and to have her parental rights stripped away.  I can't stand her!

So, what's wrong with Bella?  Why is she acting so weird to Edward?  Did she hear them talking about the weekend?  I almost wish someone would show some interest in Bella and she would go out on a date once in a while or something.  It's not fair that she has no life outside of working for Edward and taking care of her daughter and going to school.  She's cooped up in that house and never takes a break.

Ha, Nickki Reed was never my ideal Rosalie, and the thought of her with Rob always used to squick me out, but I guess I can see her as this Rosalie...especially if she hates Tanya!

Outraged at Tanya right now!  I can't even....she needs her parental rights stripped and for the press to find out what a horrible mother she is!  Why didn't Jasper just call the hotel and tell the front desk it was an emergency?  I mean, seriously, they're taking his newborn to the hospital (because his idiot mother left him naked in a drafty soundstage for a photoshoot when he was already sick!).  What did Tanya do to Edward to get him to go to the hotel with her - drug him?    Something isn't right here - I had more faith in Edward and now I am so angry and pissed at both of them! 

Thank God that Charlie has Bella!  Poor little lamb, I could spit nails right now!

Holy shit!  I never considered that Charlie wouldn't be Edward's biological son.  Would Tanya really take him away?  Doesn't seem like she wants him anyway, but what if he's James' son?

Oh man, poor Edward!  I feel so badly for him, but he is really clueless and has been for years apparently!  Wow, Tanya really pulled the wool over his eyes...I'm surprised how naive he was when it came to her and her intentions.   Thank God he didn't marry her - although if he had it would be easier to keep custody of their child because he was born into a marriage (even is he isn't his biologically he would have rights).

Please update this soon - the suspense about Charlie's parentage is killing me and Edward needs to have a DNA test done ASAP!

Ugh, so frustrated with Bella's selfish parents!  I don't understand how someone could treat their child that way?  And I have felt from the beginning that somethign is off with Bella and Emmett's relationship.  Are they really together and having sex, or is there something else going on with their relationship...maybe they are just good friends who are pretending to date?  I don't know, it just seems like maybe they're together for a mutually beneficial reason, but I don't believe they're in love.

And Alice is quite irritating pushing the whole Rose and Edward thing...I would really like that to be resolved...those two would kill each other.

Anxiously waiting for Edward or Bella to make a move and Emmett to meet his true soulmate so that Bella can move on!

Reviewing this chapter here on TWCS and not FF because I realized that maybe this version would be juicier since it's not as censored as the FF version!  HA, yes you can call me a smut-follower but if there is a better chance of action then I'd rather read it here!  ;-)

So, slightly worried that poor Emmett is going to be hurt here - and that Bella isn't his type at all.  Maybe she'll be the one who Emmett hurts?  Can't wait for them to actully meet!

Wow, I didn't realize this story was set in the 1950's!  Not sure where Edward got his stats and information about gender differences and age but he sounds absolutely ridiculous with what he spouted off to Rose about men and women and maturity levels.  We knew Edward was a bit of a throwback based on earlier chapters, but this seals the deal.  I understand he's upset that Rose is so much older than Emmett, but he is doing the same thing with Bella.

It's not the age differences or the pairings that bother me, it's the way the Emmett lied and made Bella lie (not necessarily forcing her but he knew she had nobody else in her life and he used her vulnerability for his own gain!).  Emmett is the biggest selfish idiot and douche in this story!  And I question Edward's parenting abilities if this is how his son turned out....first a mean bully, then a user and a liar.  And bringing Rose into his father's house and having sex with her (tying her up, no less!) - wow, what poor judgement Rose has too!  She's really immature and has questionable judgement....did they not think Edward would come home at some point?  WTF?

I honestly don't blame Bella for what happened, but Emmett and Rose were wrong and both handled this situation poorly. Even Edward tried to stay away from Bella and hide his feelings for his son's sake and probably wouldn't have acted on them if things hadn't hit the fan with her asshole father.  He acted selflessly and put his son's needs ahead of his own. 

And Rose, well aside from her poor judgement, is a mean, condescending, selfish, and nasty woman who only thought about herself.  First she was going to force Edward to stick to his agreement to marry her when they turned 40, and now she knowingly and willingly seduced his son!   I would seriously question her motives and her committment to Emmett at this point.  He's 19 and she's 40 - is she really going to wait for him to finish high school, go to college and get a job (i.e. finish growing up?!).  And what about children?  What if Emmett wants kids some day?   Yes, there is a total double standard for men and women, and society accepts older men and younger women much more easily than they do the reverse.   While perhaps scandalous, Bella and Edward being together will be more easily accepted by society, and they can have children and a family.  But it will be a much tougher road for Rose and Emmett, since she is so much older than he is, and eventually his wanting a family in 5 or 10 years could hamper their relationship since it will be more difficult or impossible for her to conceive.  I just speculating here because I don't know how much Rose and Em have talked, but I definitely see a tougher road ahead for them than I do for Edward and Bella.

And as for Newton, well let's just hope Emmett uses his ammunition against his stupid daughter and her friends.  Not sure how your laws work there, but he can't expel her from public school because she's pregnant.

This is so fucked up, I can't even believe it!  What kind of place is this town?  What is wrong with these people?!   And what the hell is going on with law enforcement?!   That would never have happened in the U.S. - there is no way they would not have taken both Charlie and Edward into the station in handcuffs immediately when it was so clear that Bella was injured and bleeding!  THey never would have let her go with Charlie!  That is negligence!  Yes, it's a domestic issue, but her life could be in danger and they would have arrested both of them on the spot.

I totally understand that this is a story about misconceptions and misunderstandings, but it's getting really ridiculous that Emmett and Bella are both hiding a huge secret and Edward has no clue what is actually going on.  I'm not really sure why Bella is covering for Emmett?   He obviously has another girl (who I assume is Rose), but why is he hiding it from his father?  Why the elaborate ruse that they're a couple and in love? 

And I have to say that if Bella doesn't get the hell out of her father's house ASAP then she deserves whatever she gets.  She is obviously pregnant by Edward, and she's an idiot for not telling him the truth. They are in love and should be together, especially now.  It sounds like Emmett might suspect that Bella and his father are involved, but I don't understand WHY he isn't confronting him, or telling him the truth about Rose?

Not quite sure how you're going to get them out of this jam, but I'm anxious to find out!

So glad that everything worked out for them. Curious to see how the future concludes, hope that everyone is happy and healthy.
