Well we knew that you all would have some sharp feelings about the behavior of Alice, Rose, and Siobhan.  We were excited to see that a few of you mentioned the seemingly difference in Esme and her attitude.   Have faith in Jasper and Emmett, they will be having words with their wives.  As for Siobhan, I think she has worn out her welcome around the table completely.  So what did you all think of Charlotte?  She will be important in the coming story.  A lot of you are guessing that the witch in the next chapter will be Sue Swan, but I assure you that it is not her.  There is a lot of super exciting chapters coming soon.  We want to tell you all just how much you reading and reviewing our story means to us.  This is the first story for either of us, that is getting this kind of attention.  It is completely amazing to us that we are averaging over 100 reviews per chapter.  We want to be very clear in saying that each and every review you have left for us mean so very much to us.  Thank you for taking time to not only read our story, but to also leave us your thoughts.   Thanks, Kasi (&Nikky)

Teaser for Chapter 14: Subject to changes, during Beta Process.

She looks perplexed. “Edward, aren’t you expected to be at the college; I mean, I thought you have classes today?”

I chuckle.  “Yes I do, but I got this morning off.  I am using some of my vacation time.  I would like to take you to see Charlotte today.  She is the one that sells the girl stuff; remember I told you I would take you to see her?  She was sitting on my right at the ball.”  Bella nods her head at my explanation, but I see she is biting her lip again.  I know she is worried, so I do my best to reassure her.  “I will be there with you. I am not going to leave you, I promise.”  Bella nods again as we begin walking to the bus stop.  We take the bus and arrive at Charlotte’s store a little after half past nine.  Charlotte had texted me earlier and asked that we enter through the back entrance.  She was going to leave it open for us, as she had the front locked up so that no unexpected customers arrived.  I hold onto Bella’s hand as we walk thought the door. 

Charlotte sees us as soon as we enter; she smiles and makes her way toward us.  “Edward, Isabella; come on in.  I already have a bunch of stuff laid out for you.  I have done this for a few years, so I am pretty good at guessing sizes.”  I rub Bella’s hand and smile at Charlotte’s obvious excitement.  “Isabella, I am so sorry, sometimes my mouth runs away with me.  It’s very nice to meet you.  My name is Charlotte, but you can call me Chas; all my friends do.”  Charlotte gives Bella a big smile, but keeps her distance from Bella for now.

“It is nice to meet you. I am Isabella, but you can call me Bella.”  I squeeze Bella’s hand, trying hard not to jump for joy.  This is the first time that she has openly asked someone, apart from me, to call her Bella. 

Charlotte smiles at her.  “Well, I was thinking that this stuff would be perfect for you.”  I look at the collection of bras and panties that Charlotte has picked out.  They are mostly plain white ones.  There are some with lace, but none them are overly sexy like the stuff that was in Alice’s bag.  I am both relieved and somewhat disappointed about that.  “Come with me, Bella, so I can take your measurements to ensure that we will have the correct size.” 

Bella looks at me and I nod my head at her.  “Bella…” I clasp her face between my hands.  “Baby, I’ll be right here. I will not leave you.” Bella whispers a low thank you, and strokes my hand before giving it a squeeze at the end.  I watch as she walks away with Charlotte.  

Thanks for reading and reviewing.  Each week I read the reviews for like the first 3-4 hours to see what kind of questions you all want answers to, and this time there are hardly any questions at all. 

So I thought we could touch base on some comments.  We have gotten a lot of Great chapter, sad ending, but it was needed...stuff (and it was needed).  ‘Edward had to allow the pain to flow out instead if keeping it locked inside of him.’

We have had a few diabolical people suggest that Edward would maybe recognize Sue and Charlie Swan, or Harry Clearwater.  ‘This is an interesting theory.’

A lot of you would love to lynch Sue.  ‘But first she has to make an appearance.’ 

Some of you have noted that you for see Gina as being a problem.  ‘Ummm…YEAH!’

A few have wondered if Tanya and little Edward are in fact dead and buried.  ‘In the graves in Port Angeles are in fact the bodies of Tanya Denali, and her son known to all as Edward Anthony Masen Jr.’

The comments people have made on the complexity of our characters though is what I want to touch on the most.  The fact that we have made the characters so out of character in most cases is what I am enjoying so much.  I personally love Alice in the books, I think she is WAY underplayed in the movies.  I love Alice she is one of my favorite characters, but to make her this unlikeable character is hard, yet I think it really gives so much to this storyline.  Alice will learn some very valuable lessons in this story and that old saying a leopard can’t change his spots, does not apply to Ali-cats. 

I like Rose and if I (Kasi) had to compare myself to a character from Twilight that I am most like it would be her.  I am not a royal bi*ch, but I am pretty outspoken and tend to say exactly what is on my mind, and that is how I see Rose in the books and movies.  The Rose in this story though goes above and beyond the snippy, and stuck in her ways bitchy Rose from the books or movies.  Our Rose is a downright spoiled rotten mean girl, who will never grow up because she wants to remain that rich girl who has everyone surrounding themselves in her light to better their standings.  Edward could have married the high class daughter of some billionaire tycoon, and Rose would have issue unless she bowed down to Rose. 

Jasper in this story is one of the most in character, characters we have.  Very smart and laid back, goes with the flow and yet is always there to help calm matters that need attention. 

Emmett, God I love Emmett.  He is so fun loving and wild, but he is so very smart and he can step up and show it when the time is called on him to do so.  You will be seeing a lot more of this intellectual and loving Emmett as the story progresses.

Chapter 20: Snow Storms Teaser...Subject to changes during beta process.

Emmett has filed papers with the court, getting Bella temporary custody for Seth and Leah.  Angela, Ben’s wife, who is a social worker, is making case notes on Bella’s behalf.  She is also talking to each of the kids, and doing a home study to make sure that they are having all of their needs met. 

It was not an easy task to get Bella to agree to all of this, but when Emmett explained that if her stepmom came back, she could take Seth and Leah and Bella might never see them again. He also explained that because Bella was now of age, she could keep it from happening by letting us help her.

I didn’t like scaring her, but it worked.  She thinks that if her mother gets them, she would not allow her to see them anymore.  She is afraid that Sue would then leave them with someone else, and they would end up getting hurt.  She said she would rather be there for them to keep them safe, so she finally agreed to sign the proper paperwork.  We all told her there was no way that she would lose the kids. 

Angela sat her down and explained to her that with her support system, it would be in Seth and Leah’s best interest to become their legal guardian.  It took us all a while to convince her that, since she was now a legal adult, and she had been taking such great care of them, that the court would be on her side.  Carlisle, Rev. Weber, Jasper, Peter, Marcus, Samantha - who is another worker at Jasper and Peter’s office, Chas, Esme, Aro, Zafrina, and myself, were finally able to convince her.  So far, quite a few people from the church and Sunday school program have written out statements, all in Bella’s favor.  Aro and Zafrina have documented files that they have kept; all of which have been copied and sent to Emmett.  Aro has documentation of all of the work she has done over the years.  With Aro’s help, and Bella’s social security number, I have paid all of her back Social Security taxes, so she has documented earned income. Bella is also now a real employee of the college. She is no longer paid under the table. 

Because Bella has had no education, we have set up a verbal IQ test for her to take. Since she is so smart in mathematics alone, I know her scores will be quite high.  Once she can fully read, we are going to have her take the GED test and get her a diploma.  Angela said that because the kids are in school, her inability to read will not be held against her.  Angela was also quick to point out, that with the substantial support system that Bella has, DCFS would recommend that the children be placed with her at this point anyway. 

Emmett says that at this point, he is ninety-nine point nine percent certain that Bella will be granted full legal guardianship of Seth and Leah in court. Until the hearing, there is a temporary order of guardianship filed, and unless they take Bella to court, neither Sue nor Harry can come in and take the kids away from her.  The case has been booked for the second week in February, which gives us eight weeks to prepare.

Hello to our faithful bunch, thanks for reading and reviewing chapter 20 of HCV.  Nikky and I really are so grateful to all our wonderful readers and reviewers.  In the author’s note I asked all of you to tell me what your favorite line from the story so far.  Here is Nikky’s from chapter 19 – "Have a good night, and keep Little Edna in your pants. And I do mean your pants. Close the door behind you when you're able to shut your mouth and leave." I stand there for a minute with my mouth hanging open, before shaking my head and leaving.   My favorite quote so far is from Chapter 20 – "I will use the adult terms, and try to stick to the given terms of penis or vagina, but please, for my sanity, can we not call my cock a winkie?"

Many of you are wondering who is behind Bella being hurt.  Bella actually fell, but it was what took place at the college before she left that caused her the issues to be as sick as she is right now.  In the next chapter that person and their actions will be handled, and handled quite well.  Some have worried that we may have Bella been brutalized or raped and we want to be clear that we would not ever do that in this story.  We both agree with you that Bella has been brutalized and hurt enough from her so called loved ones to cause her anymore brutalization.  There was an attack against her at the college before she left, and as I said that will be handled quite well.

Chapter 21 teaser…subject to changes during beta process…

I make it back to my car quickly.  I open her door sitting her in her seat and strap her in as best I can. “Baby, you’re in my car, I’m going to get you to Carlisle.”  I kiss her head, close her door, and run around to my side.  I get in and start driving without waiting to put on my seat belt. I switch the heat on high. “Baby, I got the heating on for you. We’ll be there soon.”  Please God let us get there soon!  I fiddle with my cell getting the hands free turned on, so I can call Carlisle.

“Hello Edward,” I hear Carlisle’s cheerful voice come across the hands free.

“Can you get to the Hospital, right away?  Its Bella, she is hurt. I found her in the park unconscious. She has a head wound, and she’s been lying in the fucking snow for about an hour.”  I try to calm my voice, the last thing I need to do is break down.

“Edward, I’m on way back to the hospital now.  I just left a few minutes ago. I should get there before you do.  I will let you go. The last thing we need is for you to crash.  I’ll be outside with a team ready for you when you get there.  Drive safely, son.” Carlisle disconnects the call, not waiting for me to reply.

“Baby, we’re almost there. Come on Baby, wake up for me.”  I stroke her face, while driving around the fucking cars that are in front of me.  These people are idiots, they are driving like old people fuck, slow and sloppy.  I commit many driving penalties, yet I am driving better than anyone else out here.  I’m sure I’ve been caught on nearly all the speed cameras that are up.  I sigh out in relief as I come up to the hospital.  I pull up in front of the emergency doors and I see Carlisle already there.  I pull to a stop and he waves to the door and opens Bella’s door with his other hand.  He picks her up turns and places her on a gurney.  I jump out and catch up to him.

“Hey you can’t park there,” I hear. 

Turning around I see the security officer glaring at me, and I throw him my keys.  “Then you move it,” I say.

He catches my keys, and looks at me.  “I am not here to be your valet.”

I turn back and glare at him.  “Then call and have it fucking towed, I don’t give a shit.  My girl is… fuck!”

I feel Carlisle pull on my arm.  “Mitch please can you park the car for my son, she is in critical condition.”  Mitch looks at Carlisle then to me and his face pales, but he nods his head.  I feel the air leave my body, she’s in critical condition!   “Edward I need you to calm down and come with me.”  Carlisle pulls me along with him and I head to the trauma room.  I see them removing her clothes.  “Edward, do you know why her clothes soaking wet? Even under her coat is wet. There is no way this all occurred from her lying in the snow.” I shake my head at him, because I don’t know. I stand back and watch them work on her.

This story is not always easy to write, just as parts are not easy to read.  Edward does not know yet of course, but it is very true Isabella cannot read nor write.  She has never attended school.  Bella was never allowed to be a child, or experience a normal childhood, in any way, shape, or form.  Bella has nothing more than a glorified slave all of her life since her birth mother passed away.  We don’t want to give away more of her story than that, but feel free to keep asking your questions and we will continue to answer what we can.  Edward does have a long road yet to travel, and part of that is to get him-self healed enough so that he can love someone and trust someone.  Edward’s view is very tainted and with great reason, there is much more to learn about him.  He will continue to improve, but he will have his moments.  Keep in mind as of right now, Isabella has not lied to him, but she has withheld very important information.  She doesn’t correct him on her age, because she fears his reaction.

Here is the teaser for chapter 7…Subject to change during BETA process as always.

I have written out everything, when I look at my watch seeing that it’s ten after ten.  I know that being on time is something she is normally good at.  I rub my face, fuck maybe she changed her mind about the job, or she just lied to me just like every other fucking woman I’ve ever known.

Or maybe you scared her, and she said yes to the job thinking that you wouldn’t let her leave the room unless she agreed.

Knock. Knock.

Thank god, she is here finally.  “Come in Isabella,” I say to the closed door.  The door opens, but it’s Taylor who is standing there. 

I frown at him.  “Hello, I see you beat me here,” he says smiling at me.  I wave at him to come in, but I am still frowning.  “I take it I am not who you’re waiting for?”

I shake my head.  “I was expecting someone, but I don’t think she is coming.”  I sigh, and throw my pen on the desk.

“Small pale girl, brown hair, looks a little lost?” I look at him, and nod my head.  “I think she is standing outside,” he says motioning his thumb toward the door.  I move toward the door, and Taylor stops me.  “Here, take this; it’s really coming down out there.”  He offers me his umbrella and chuckles as I take it and head out of the office.

I head to the front, and see Isabella standing outside in front of the window in the rain.  I open the door.  “Isabella,” I call to her standing in the door way, she turns and looks at me. I wave at her to come in.  “How long have you been standing outside, and why didn’t you come in the restaurant when you got here?”

She walks up to me, clearly worrying I am mad by the look on her face.  “I thought that…you said to meet you outside.  Didn’t you, never mind, I am so sorry…sorry.”

Looking at her, I see that she’s drenched to the skin.  The jacket she is wearing is paper thin, and clearly very old and well used.  I know that she been outside a long time.  I close my eyes, pinching the bridge of my nose.  “I am sorry I meant for you to come in, if I was not out here.”  She walks through the door; I know that she needs to get out of her wet clothes.

We know that the more the story develops the more we all want Edward to just post haste stop going to Aro’s club.  I wanted to give a clear run down on the girls that he sees there, so that we can keep things straight.  Edwards’s girls at Aro’s:  Sally: sex addict 27 tall she about 5ft 8 red shoulder length hair thin and tall. Likes roll play.  Irina: 6ft tall slender and Blond Hair to her cheek bones like rough sex and anal sex. 29 years old.  Carmen: 5ft 6 long black hair enjoys being controlled by men, average weight and size. Likes BDSM and being restrained.  Maria:  5’5 180 pounds curvy and thicker than other girls.  Sandy blonde hair, cute features and very large breasts.  More relaxed and sensual.  Edward only sees her maybe once a month, sometimes longer than that between visits.  He controls her too, but it is all about sensual and erotic pleasure with her than it is about rough and controlling hard core sex.  Some question if he chose Maria the last time and more often, because she reminded him of Bella.  Truth be known Carmen would be the one who resembles Bella the most.  He is not with Maria to pretend she is Bella, but because from Maria he gets the softer more sensual erotic side of sex.  Edward had made the decision a long time ago to make himself this untouchable person, and when it came to the girls most of the time he went with the hard core domination side of the act.  I can’t say that Edward’s visits to the club will cease right away, but I do assure you that soon our professor with the extremely dark view of all women will soon realize that he just can’t do it anymore.  He may be smart and he may be a lot of things, but sometimes when you shut yourself off, it’s hard to wake up those pieces of yourself.  I hope that this helps a little in the explanation of Edward and his tainted views.  I will tell you this, I just got done with my part on a chapter where he comes clean with Bella about what he did when he spent time at the club, and telling the truth can be quite cleansing.

Chapter 9 Teaser… Subject to changes during BETA process.

“Mr. Masen, I don’t mean to be rude, but where are we going? Do you need me to work at your house today?”

I shake my head as we keep walking.  “No Isabella, as you know all my employees have to have a medical check.  I am accompanying you to yours.”  We stop walking when we arrive at the bus stop. I look at Isabella who is looking upset.

“Mr. Masen, I didn’t bring any money with me.  I can’t afford to have a medical check, I am sorry.” I look down at her and frown.  There is something in her expression that tells me that it’s not just money she is worried about. I look up seeing the bus coming to a stop beside us.

We both get on, but this time I lead her to the seats at the back.  I motion for her to sit and I sit next to her, leaving a little room between us. “Isabella, I set up a medical plan for each of my staff including you. Your medical is a part of that so you don’t have to worry about payment, it has already been covered.” I am not really lying, more like stretching the truth a little. “I know that you don’t like people too close to you, for that reason I am taking you to see a dear friend of mine.” I smile thinking about how to explain Carlisle. “His name is Carlisle, and he is much more than a friend to me.  I guess you could say that he is like a father figure. He is a very compassionate man, and he has an amazing ability to relax people. He will not hurt you. I would never allow him, or anyone to hurt you.” I didn’t really mean for what I said at the end to come out, but as I looked into her eyes it just came out.  She looked me right in the eye for much longer then she usually does.  I watch her reaction and notice her bite her lip, as she nods her head.

“Will you stay with me, the whole time?”  She asks, as her eyes fall to the floor. 

Without meaning to, my hand moves to the underside of her chin.  I feel small sparks on the tips of my fingers as I keep my fingers against her skin.  These are those same comforting sparks I felt the night of my panic attack, I dismiss it.  I slowly tilt her chin up, making her look at me again. “I will stay with you, if that is what you want.  This is your choice Isabella.  I know that I have been ordering you around a lot, but this time it is your complete choice and decision.  If you wish for me to stay in the room with you, then I will.  If you want me to leave, then I will.  This is all about you, and what you want.” 

She keeps looking at me and I could feel her shaking a little, but she never pulls her face away from my hand.  “I would like you to stay in the room please, Mr. Masen.” I nod my head letting her face go.

Wow what else can Nikky or I say...once again the overwhelming response and the amount of story love we are receiving from so many people just makes us both feel so loved.  I know that this story may have a few minor flaws, but we have tried all along to keep them to a minimum.  So essentially thank you as always for reading and reviewing our story it makes us all giggly and excited to see all the reviews we are getting. 
We asked you who you thought it might be that broke into Bella and the twins apartment, and I must say we were a little surprised that a lot of you have it figured out.  With a wide range of evil or rude nasty characters, many of you said it was Uncle Harry...and you are right.  There will not be resolution for a bit when it comes to Uncle Harry, so if you want to figure out what he was looking for all I can suggest is watch for clues.  There are some very important and much asked for things coming soon. 
We have been asked many times for Edward to stop using Aro’s girls for his pleasure.  And where we understand why, we also knew it was very unrealistic for a man with so much anxiety, pressure, cynicism and tainted view to jump into a healthy relationship and give up the release and hidden pleasure he has surrounded himself in to get by for the past five plus years.  He has slowly been weaning himself from the place, and very soon he will open up and tell Bella why he went there.  We have been asked when you all get to know a lot more about Edward...well very soon actually, and by that I mean the next few chapters are chuck full of things from the past. 
We have been asked if Renee will come back...(A LOT ACTUALLY)...Renee was Bella’s biological mother, who died when Bella was only three years old.  At the age of three after her mother died, custody of Bella was given to Charlie Swan who was her biological father.  Charlie was married to Sue Swan, who is the mom she talks about leaving all the time.  Sue Swan is the person who left Bella to care for the twins.  Since this story is not alternate universe, neither, Charlie or Renee will be making any grand entrance, unless via a dream.  But don’t get too happy, because Sue Swan is still out there somewhere, and she has a few things to say.
We have been asked a lot if Alice, Rose, Siobhan, and Esme will make any redemption...Esme already has begun her turn around, and we think she is doing well.  Siobhan, well she wore out her welcome quite completely at the ball, at this point there is not a real plan to drag her back into the storyline.  Alice...well this is a hard one for me.  I actually normally always LOVE Alice, but this Alice is a tough nut to crack.  She is not going to bring in the roses and become a fan favorite anytime soon, but you will notice some changes.  As for Rose, well...I just can’t wait to hear your opinions of her...and I am sure you’ll have plenty next week.
Updating...we had planned all along to only update every other week on Thursdays.  However since posting the first chapter we have been on an every week posting schedule...and we have NO INTENTION of changing that at this time.  Nikky and I have a comfortable cushion, and the next chapter to post is with the beta now.  I got this weeks chapter back from the beta on Tuesday afternoon, so realistically we are posting around when they are ready.  Nikky is working on her part of chapter 26 right now, and I am working on 24 so we are not looking at any lapses in time.  We are both so excited you are choosing to come down this road with us. 
Where the next chapter has some major info and angst, we promise that chapter seventeen will make up for it.  Thanks again for always being so supportive and showing the story love HCV deserves.

Chapter 16 Teaser...subjected to changes during the BETA process...

Its Thanksgiving today, and I am on my way to pick up Bella and the kids.  Bella and I decided that, after dinner with my family, they would all stay the night at my house tonight.  I will run them home to get their things for the camping trip in the morning, and see them off to camp.  Bella will make sure that Jake has enough food, and then she is coming to spend the weekend with me.  I’m looking forward to this weekend, but I am worried about my growing feelings for her. I knock on the door before using my key to get in.  Bella gave me a spare key so I could let myself in. The new door has a double lock on it, and is reinforced with steel; no one is breaking this one down.

I walk in, seeing Leah in a black, knee-length dress with a cream ribbon around the waist, and black shoes.  Seth is wearing a pair of black pants and a cream colored button down shirt, with a black tie and shoes.

“Wow, look at you Leah! You’re very beautiful, and Seth, you look so handsome.” They both smile at me and look up as Bella walks in. She is in a cream colored dress, with a black ribbon around the waist. The dress goes to just above her knees; she looks fucking beautiful in it - so fucking beautiful.

“Wow, Bella! You look sensational...really beautiful.  Are we all ready to go?” I look her up and down, I am so glad she allowed me to buy us all new outfits for today. 

I got around her apprehension by telling her that I wanted to go to church with them this Sunday night.  We are attending the evening service after Seth and Leah return from camp.  Since I was buying something for myself, I wanted to get them something, as well.  As usual, getting Bella to let me buy Seth and Leah something, was easy, but her...not so much.  I was so fucking glad Seth and Leah helped me. I have on black pants and black shirt with a cream colored tie.  I push my fucking guilty feelings down and smile at the three of them.

“Yes, we’re all ready.” Bella picks up their bags, and I quickly take them from her.

“Let’s go,” I say as I usher us all out the door together.

Hello, thanks again for reading and reviewing this story.  Nikky and I put a lot of work into these chapters; as well do a large group of ladies who have become not only our sounding boards, but trusted members of our team.  I was shocked that the backlash on the pregnancy was not larger than it was.  I was very skeptical about making Bella pregnant and ironically Jess2002 (WHO HATES IT THAT EVERY STORY BELLA GETS KNOCKED UP) said it had to be done now, because (knowing our future plot line) it was the perfect fit.  So if you are one of the (so far) two negative reviews about the pregnancy we’ve gotten, please know that your reaction was shared at first.  After we thought it over it was easy to see that it however enhanced the love story between Edward and Bella.   The gender of the baby is picked, as well as the babies name.  The story is quickly approaching finalization, and with it I feel a sense of loss. 

There haven’t been many questions, but there have been several comments about things that are complete misunderstandings.  So I figured I would list some of the ones I remember off the top of my head.

Edward wants to marry Bella, but he hasn’t yet proposed. 
Edward has been looking for a ring, and trying to his best ability to find out where his mother’s jewelry is. 
Edward is very rich, and doesn’t have to work, but like most people who are rich a great portion of his funds is wrapped up in investments, so not always does he have access to super large amounts of money. 
Edward’s father was quite a pianist and left Edward a rather large inheritance, as well as before his mother left she made sure to leave him money in a trust. 
Elizabeth knew she was ill and left thinking Edward would be better raised by Esme and Carlisle. 
Alice is not a blood relative of the Cullen’s, or Masen’s. 
Jasper and Rosalie’s parents died and in the will they left guardianship of them to Carlisle and Esme. 
Sue and Harry’s parents are dead, harry murdered them.
Bella’s biological parents are dead. 
Rose was always allowed to act out and as if she was better than everyone else. 

The next chapter is one you won’t want to miss for sure.  Before you sit down to read it, you may want to get a cold drink (not promoting booze, but I needed some writing parts of it), a few tissues, and be sure to tell yourself at least four or five times before you start reading – “Kasi and Nikky are happily ever after writers...”

Chapter 30 Teaser, subject to changes during BETA process.

Seth and Leah have taken to home schooling well; both are extremely bright children. Lucy resigned from her temporary position at the school, and is now helping us teach them at home.  Between the five of us: Lucy, Esme, Zafrina, Bella, and myself, the twins are receiving an excellent education.  They’ve both been a little more edgy lately, and upset about what happened with Sue. It’s been causing both of them to have more nightmares than usual.  Samantha’s advice was simple: just keep helping them feel safe and secure in their home.  We’ve talked about it several times, and I think they now understand that the school did something wrong.  I also know that they believe we will keep them safe.  

Mrs. Crown has been fired over her behavior, as were four other staff members.  This led to the papers getting ahold of the full story of what happened at the school.  When the story first came out, all that had been said was that there had been an attempted abduction. Since then, though, someone had talked – my guess would be Mrs. Crown – and it’s been all over the local news and in the papers.

 Thankfully, Seth and Leah’s names have been kept out, but reporters did manage to get some of the story behind Sue, Charlie, and Harry.  They were also able to gather some information on Bella, like the fact that she raised her siblings from birth, but they did not focus on this.  They focused, instead, on how Bella had to have known that her Uncle and parents were hurting and killing people, and hid it instead of going to the authorities.  

They talked about how when she worked, she left the children unattended and neglected.  That one line hurt Bella the most, and I had a hard time trying to calm her down. Of course, it also upset Seth and Leah.  To say I was ranting and raving over the phone lines to just about anyone who would listen, was an understatement. I had to take several deep breaths and remind myself that I supposed to help reduce the stress, not add to it.  

Sorry for the major fail in getting this review reply in a timely manner.  Been stressing with the issues of moving and getting the net working, but on the bright side things are working well now.  Chapter 33 should post on time, I’m working on 34 right now and Nikky is working on the Epilogue right now.  WOOT WOOT!  Not much for teasers after this chapter, but keep those reviews and thoughts coming in, we love to hear what you have to say.  Thanks, Kasi (&Nikky)

TEASER!!! For chapter 34 – subject to changes during beta process...
With the help of Garrett, he got his hands on a large poker table, and even hired a dealer for the night with Aro’s help.  He asked Bella and Esme to make us up snacks, and then sent Emmett and Jasper to get the big people juice.  We kept the card game light while Seth was playing with us.  After he went to bed, we gambled a little harder.  Emmett’s only complaint about the night was that there seemed to be the lack of strippers. Actually, he was upset because there were no strippers.  

The night was relaxing and rather quiet, so it was perfect for me. I don’t see this as my last night of freedom, but the last night of my old, solitary life.  I can’t wait to have Bella as my wife.  I can’t wait to call her Mrs. Masen tomorrow.  Tomorrow I marry my soulmate, and my true life will begin.

Here I am, standing up at the front of the church.  Everything is so beautifully decorated.  The girls made it look perfect, and I know it’s exactly as Bella wanted it.  The ladies of the church made sure that every single detail of Bella’s wishes was precisely the way she had envisioned it.  

This has been a fantastic journey and we are sad yet excited that we finally clicked completed.  Keep in mind to watch out for Enduring His Cimmerian View to update, there are a few of those yet to write and post.  There is not a real posting schedule for those, but they will be written. 

Nikky and I are writing a couple more stories at least together and we hope to see you checking them out too.  We have a stalker story coming soon, as well as a BDSM/Olderward story coming out.  We also have a pretty large one-shot that will post soon, that we wrote for the Forbidden Fruit contest.  We can’t tell you the name of it yet, but there are a TON of great stories entered in the contest.

No, forgive me. As I was saying in the previous chapter, the story of Edward and Bella in this fic was meant to end when she opened her crimson eyes to her new immortal world.

I might write a couple of future takes (connected to Alice's visions)  but I am nowhere near it at this point.

I knew Edward would get his memories back when I took them away.  I always wondered about that, if Aro read every thought you've ever had--which was always the hardest part of canon for me to accept, that's a hell of a lot of thoughts--wouldn't that include your human memories?  And if Alice could search for the "black spots" in her vision to find Naheul, shouldn't Edward be able to do the same with his memory?
