You asked on twitter if WTS was better than QS and I must say, I'm struggling to give up my pick on QS, as it's my favorite.... but after the last several chapters I'm slowly coming to the dark side and saying that the depth Edward brings is starting to sway me here and say "Yep" WTS is more than top notch..... in this chapter when Edward has to (and I do mean Has To, because the Father in him needs that ) comfort and make Sonny open up to him as his Father.... You can see in several places in this chapter where Edward himself struggles with his feelings for his Father, I get the feeling sometimes that Edward's understanding of his own chilfren are helping him to deal and come to terms with his own Father... I was and wasn't shocked to discover that it was Ed that told Carlilse to go to Edward over Marcus... "Karma" is what I say about that conversation. The mother in me was crying with Bella after hearing Edward tell his son he had choices in life, and he did not have to follow in his footsteps..Gripping I tell you. Just gripping. I'm with Edward Aro is strong and I have faith that he will make it. As for Macy/Danika hummm the FBI never cease do they.. we didn't expect they would.. Holy hell, I just knew it the second that Enzo told E that it was a woman it was Esme!!! See we have to remember that when all is said and done she is Marcus Misone's daughter and she wanted payback for Anthony, first I'm not sure that in her wacked mind she wasn't thinking that she was entitled to be the only woman to bear "C" children and definitely a son should have been her right, if you will...or if she was having Candace taken out to hurt "C", either way she hurt him, but she hurt little Anthony the most in all this, poor little guy lost his mother and the only constant in his life.....I still love that Bella pulled the drugging her man for some wild ass romp...but she did need to prove to him that they could be "them" again...I don't know how to say it, but my mind knows what I mean...so I get why she did it, just like I got Edward's reactions to Aro and Bella...not that anything truly happened on Bella's part other than total committment to a beloved family member and that is what Aro has always been for her....

Hey Lexie darling - This was a KILLER chapter; I know it winding down and you know how sad I am but HELL I still read and re-read QS all the time so I know that I will do the same with this one too!
I wanted to bang my head against my desk again, it finally snapped into place Alex and Mauro and who they are.... LMAO!!! good one.... I always garner such cool information from E's POV he always seems to point out little tid bits of information that I wasn't picking up before hand. Anyway... his talk with "C" was wonderful and I loved how "C" wanted Mauro to go with Aro rather than Anton - so Mauro would be taken out rather than Anton. I was like.. Yep definitely playing into the "C" love by offing Mauro in FF world... LMAO!!! I must be totally drunk or something in the middle of the day for seeing it that way, but then again, I'm way too much of a crazy reviewer and fan to see it any other way.....
Okay so then... Yep then E gets the righteous inspiration to Mark the Dress has on (borrowed from Alex I might add) so she can't wear it out of the house. Our Boy Sonny is growing up. Had wet dreams and Dad's helping him out by talking with him about it. Loved that. This trip to the shore was really good for them....
Then Alex cried over the dress... awwwhhhh.... poor girl is sooooo confused, honestly honey Big Boy C will buy you a Truck load of dresses when he makes you his, if we get that far... LOL! I think she is terribly misunderstood and it makes me question my ability to tell the story. I, like Jaimin, can't imagine how anyone could not love her. okay that wasn't as horrific as I totally feared it would be.....my heart is still clinching thinking about the Angst and total Cruelity that Bella will feel if and when she finds out what has truly been going on here....Yes...Yes...Yes...I get that by the end of the chapter he was finally having a little clarity and light dwning in nis hearts dead horizon...so I'm hopeful our Boy will pull this through...One can only think over and over to oneself how horrible the feelongs will or would be for Bella to find out...you know she would have to ask herself just what is it about her that makes a man feel like she was so worthless that her feelings didn't matter...why her and not say Alice or Rose?!?!?! sorry I am Totally Team Edward but Our Edward is not making me proud...yet at least....not sure what Ms. "Bitchica" did to Mr Cullen but dang son.... TY TY TY for this chapter, so happy to have it to read... I was just on your blog and was listening to the play list... Holy Sheezus! Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain" is so perfect for this, I keep fearing for dear Bella and her heart. I hear her say she chooses to be with him; however she really doesn't know that she will be "Setting Fire to the Rain" the RAIN being her heart, when she finds out what Jasper told Emmett, and she will find out, because I believe our Jasper is a ASS! I guess you are wondering why I am sound frustrated with Jasper here, well he did repeat something that he had no reason to repeat, and it's a game to him... Yes, Yes, Yes Edward is VERY vital to this game and he is the one that accepted the bet; HOWEVER COMMA Jasper is dating her best friend and business partner how on God's green earth does he feel this is fine to do?! Well I guess you could say I'm alittle passionate in the story line... sorry folks... if you haven't heard the song I highly recommend you go play it and read this chapter and tell me you don't feel for Bella and perhaps Edward in just some small small way, especially the conversation he and Em had and the last line of this chapter....
