However, yes the HEA was there in a tragic way, but I have no balls to write and may never, so kudos to you dear! I'm excited to see what other things you have written since this story.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this wussperv friendly story, even if it was light on the perv ; ). It actually made reading on my phone in public settings not quite so scary as I knew that if they saw the text, it was no biggie. I live in Louisville, KY and the first trip I took with my hubs, then boyfriend, was to the Lou and we stayed at Union Station. We actually went for New Years and besides the arch ride, the most memorable part was sliding on ice outside of Union Station, by the pond, and pulling Mark down the stairs with me. I laughed so hard I peed myself and was terrified walking back to the room that someone would know, even if it was only a teeny tiny bit. Good Times.
My only constructive criticism is what you mentioned yourself with the honeymoon chapters and a few others, that there was a lot of description when sometimes visuals just can't be put into words. Oh and maybe a separating line or something between time changes, but really this was a fab story I read about on the Fictionators in a comment section and def lived up to the hype! I'm off to read your other works. Holler if you ever come into Louisville!

I'm worn out after that chapter. For some reason, I felt really irritated with Edward during the entire usual time. I get that it's a part to play, but I felt like telling him to screw off the whole time. I love D/s stuff, but it seemed like he really had it out for her this time. Maybe I just haven't read a hardcore scene lately, but it just rubbed me wrong, and I'm frustrated that I don't know exactly why!!
I was glad that she yellowed and he adhered to his responsibilities, then kinda shot himself in the foot by bringing up the foot stomping thing, again, after doling out the required punishment. Maybe I'm just hormonal too?! But I almost felt like crying with Bella when he finally gave her an ounce of caring vs indifference. It seems an odd time with so much outside in their lives going on that he would push her harder in playtime, in multiple ways/limit areas and not expect any frustration. I'm not a Dom though, so it's hard to see things from that perspective. I am hopeful that we will get more puzzle pieces regarding the utility van soon. Seriously though, I adore this story and you are a fantastic writer. I really think the chapter may have hit a subconscious trigger for me or something and it skewed my perception, however, that does not make it a bad chapter!!! I'm anxious to see if other readers give similar feedback, or heck, maybe that was your purpose for plot progress? I love ya either way, and it was pretty stinking hot when he wasn't being a jerk.

Poor Dougie! I grew up an hour away from Gatlinburg actually, in Johnson City, and boy is it hard to be different than what is felt to be "normal". I don't think I'll ever see/hear more secret personal lives in the most self-righteously normal folk than what's hidden in the people of the Appalachain region. You either conform or get away as quickly as possible, though those that take the path of conformity, always have crazy scandals and tales that come to light at some future time with a cliche bang! Though I'm not in a lifestyle that garners public discrimination, I like the fact I'm a touch freaky, and openly admit to it. I wish everyone could just BE, and let be without being fake for fear of what others think!! Having kids in elementary school is my latest education on the lengths parents, teachers, people in general will go to in order to be perfect and acceptable to others who are just as imperfect as themselves. It's my soapbox issue at the moment, so forgive my rambling preaching to the choir. All in all this chapter may have been filler, but it laid great groundwork for Bella's revelation that you foreshadowed with her unease. I like the blossoming friendship! Too bad all friends can't be the type Dougie hopes to have with her. DD freaked me out a bit, but I was waiting for Eleazar to pop up in some way or either Dom to do something to offend Edward through Bella's treatment while there. Big thumbs up all around!!

I'm surprised, yet happy, to tell you that I was excited to see an update for this story! Before reading the story, along with the info you added regarding this particular fetish (thanks!), I hadn't realized the depth to which this fetish could exist. We took Bradley Method birthing classes for each of our 3 kids, but with my compulsion to learn everything I can about something new to me, at that time childbirth, I branched out with my own research as well. I was amazed to learn about folks that embraced the sexual aspects of L&D, and though it doesn't exactly float my boat, it wasn't too hard to appreciate the concept that delivering a baby was a sort of sex in reverse. That aspect made a lot of sense to me intellectually, however, there was not one minute during any of my deliveries that I remotely felt sexy. Yes, it was awesome to play a role in the miracle of creating life, but I still shudder at some memories. I promise, I'm not trying to word vomit a review about my life or memories, just explain the strange sense of deja vu I got when even reading the summary. I've learned a lot thanks to my fic reading in the past few years, though lately I've taken a chance on a few "Fetlife" stories and that's where the aforementioned "surprised excitement" comes in. This type of story has made me more accepting of folks that enjoy or live similar desires to your characters across the board bc I'd never considered the actual person behind the so-called perverse or deviant wants and the courage needed to act on the desires. I'm not sure that was your intention by writing, but I consider it to be a cool perk, whether intentional or not! Sorry to get all philosophical or emo or whatever...I'll blame it on Valentine's Day? Seriously tho, I can't wait to see how these two work through their feelings for each other and how that translates into a possible future together. It seems like both E and B let their ids out to make decisions and will now have to make the choices work in a longterm and logical way, especially after conceiving. It's not like you can just unmake a person!
I hope your muse stays close and technology cooperates so you can share more soon!! If not, I'll read it whenever it's ready regardless. Thanks again for all the reasons above.

Thank you for reading and reviewing His Cimmerian View. Edward’s view is improving, and he is learning quickly that he is not able to function to his fullest at Aro’s club. Aro’s club and Aro and some of his girls will remain a vital part of this story. Having Edward putting on one of Bella’s newly gifted bras was such a fun thing to write about, we hope you all found it just as amusing as we did. This story has a long way to go. We have been asked when things will pick up between Bella and Edward. Well we promise they will be together, but Edward is just learning to change and before he could give himself to her fully, he has to let go of a few things from the past. There are a few more bricks that need to come down off that wall he has built. As for Bella, her pure innocence alone is a good reason for things between them to simmer slowly into a boil. I will tell you this, there first kiss is written already...and Lordy I needed some ice water after that one. WOOOWHOO! Fuck, it leaves nothing to the imagination, the dress… if that is what you call it. It’s more like a sheer piece in the front, glued to her skin. There doesn’t appear to be any cloth on the sides of her entire body at all. She cannot be possibly wearing anything under the dress. I can see from her armpit to the sole of her foot in the clear stiletto shoes she is wearing, there is nothing but skin. She looks like she should be working for Aro, what a trashy high class whore! I am sure she thinks it’s attractive, and I am sure everyone will know she is going commando. I mean I like women to go commando, but I also like to be the only one that knows. We both put a lot of time into this story and we are very grateful to have the following that we have gathered. Because of the upheaval going on in Fan Fiction we are both concerned that HCV will or could fall victim to the haters and be removed – should this happen be assured that this story can be found on TWCS under the same name and it updates on the same schedule. Chapter 22 Teaser...subject to changes during BETA process.
We spent most of our day watching Christmas movies, and for supper we had a huge spread of really fattening foods. I had Eric prepare for me several wonderful dishes. I had wanted something easy for today - something that wouldn’t take away from our family day. The dishes he made only needed to be warmed up before serving. The kids loved it, but then again, we had some great things to choose from. Bella really loved the extra cheesy enchiladas and the lobster bisque. There were so many things to choose from that we had enough leftovers to last us for the next few days. After we ate, we cleaned up the kitchen together.
We all settled down in the living room after the clean-up was done for our new tradition. After we were all settled in, I passed out a few gifts to each person in the room. “Okay, here are a few gifts that you get to open before we go to mass tonight.” I made sure to pass out the gift bags that held our new matching clothing that Esme had chosen for our first Christmas mass together. I had asked Esme to help, and she did, but then refused to let me pay her back for the gifts. Esme said that the new outfits were from her, and that she was happy that I and my new family were going to attend services together.
“Edward, we can wait and open these gifts tomorrow, can’t we?” Bella asks.
“No, Baby; these gifts are for tonight for our church service together. This is our first Christmas mass we get to spend together and these gifts will help make it more special. They are from Esme, who wanted to help make this special. There are gift bags for each of us. Okay everyone, open them up and let’s see what we have.”

Well hello to our faithful readers and reviewers. It is hard to believe that this story will be coming to a close in just about five to seven more weeks. Yeah chapter 27 posts next week, 28 is written and off to the start of the beta’s (yes more than one) process. I am working on 29 and Nikky is kicking behind on her part of 30. After 30 is written there will be either 2 to 5 more chapters. Jess2002 threw a monkey wrench into chapter 29 for us, and I was actually shocked she asked for the thing she asked for. I will not leak the info on what she said we needed to do, but man alive it does give a nice twist. (LIKE WE NEED MORE?) twists that is...LOL. Okay so you got quite a bit of the mystery settled on the real Tanya Denali. I never lied to you , when I assured you all that Tanya Denali was in fact dead and buried. I also stated many times that the toddler found in the burnt house with Tanya Denali was in fact the child she gave birth to. Neither of those statements was untrue. I never said that he was in fact Edward’s, just that he was in fact Tanya’s. You will get to hear more about good old Uncle Harry again, but trust me when I say that he will be quit forthcoming on the information. Jane has incredible ways to make assholes talk. Many of you want to see Jane get her hands on Sue, and well I will not say if that happens or not, you will have to wait and see. Sue and her bullshit are not yet complete and I will say this, she makes an appearance in more than one chapter upcoming. She is quite sly, like a fox. We are both so excited to see what you are all thinking. I know that this was a lot to take in with the double identities. I want to assure you all that everything written so far was all part of the original plan, chapter 29 will be the first deviation from our starting outline. We hope that you all continue to enjoy and read and review this story, because it is nice to hear how much you like, love, or hate parts of it. I look at Bella and Alice sitting there on the floor. Alice is in front of Bella holding her arms while Bella is shaking and crying. I walk toward them, both seeming to have missed Emmett and me coming in the room.
“He’s going to hate me... they are all going to hate me. What should I do? This is so big. I... I didn’t know. I swear I didn’t know. Why…why would she lie about that? I did everything they ever asked. I never questioned them. She could have told me. I would’ve still loved them, I do still love them. Why? I... it’s not fair, Alice.” Bella’s hand goes to her hair, and she begins to grip and pull at it.
“Bella, please calm down. I’m not sure I fully understand what you’re talking about, but Edward loves you very much, and he knows you; he will trust you, I’m sure...”
As I move forward, Alice stops talking and turns to me. This makes Bella look up at me, too. She looks broken and scared.
“Bella Baby,” I say, holding my arms out to her. Instead of coming to me like I’d hoped, she shakes her head.
“You’re going to hate me, but I swear I didn’t know. I thought that... I thought I was the best for them. I didn’t know really. I swear didn’t know. If I had, I would’ve looked for you, I swear. Mom and Harry couldn’t have done or said anything that would’ve stopped me from finding you. If I knew, I would have made sure that they were where they belonged. I would have been punished, but I would have taken it happily knowing that they were safe and loved. I am so sorry.” I look at her, seeing her hurting, and I hurt too because she is still putting herself last. “Your son, Edw...” She cuts off mid-sentence and begins to wail.

I do wonder when, or if, Sir will realize he treats a sub he is as strongly affected by as Butterfly, a smidge differently than past subs he had only sexual feelings toward. Not that a D/s relationship isn't just as caring and committed if only for play, likely moreso, than a traditional romantic relationship...I think I'm hoping for that light bulb moment that he wants to more than possess her submission. That he needs to have HER, as a lover, friend, and Partner, in and out of a scene. I think that's where the plot is going but I think it'll be a rough ride to any possible form of HEA.

So glad I looked under your author name or I never would have seen this story! The updates on here are hard to keep up with unfortunately, but love the freedom to read uncensored works unlike other sites. This chapter for me was fantastically written, though hard for me to read as I don't *think* I could handle that kind of punishment when my actions that earned it came from a place of mental anguish. As a parent I truly understand the need for punishment that isn't pleasant for either parent or child as a part of shaping behavior, however when my kid misbehaves as a direct result of my lack of my own parental responsibilities (kid beyond hungry bc dinner is late, let him stay up late to watch movies til 2am and is crabby the next day and makes a bad choice by lashing out when defensive etc), I tend to not choose those battles to make an example of what is/is not acceptable. Granted these are two adults, who make their own rules, but it seemed a bit of an overreaction on his part. He is setting a precedent I suppose, but a warning and less demeaning punishment seems more fitting. It's like he can screw up and apologize or beat himself up mentally, but he's not exactly getting punished if hes enjoying being a twit to her all day and getting off on it. I have a pretty good idea, as well as identification with the submissive mindset, but my buttons are not pushed by complete humiliation, where Isa's are. I'm not criticizing you at all, just giving feedback so I won't continue mulling it over for a few days and be a grouch to my hubs bc of a chapter I read that didn't gel with me. It's happened before, don't laugh. I'm off to read the next few chapters and wait for more updates. Great job overall, you are one of my favorite writers no matter what your characters make you communicate in a chapter. Thanks!

I completely understand. I got a hell of a lot of stick for this chapter, and I expected that. The situation comes off as unfair, but the punishment was for Isa's sake not for Edward to get off on her humiliation. Isa wanted to get punished ( see chp 17 where Edward mentions that she's been purposefully bad in order to get a reacion out of him) so that she could, in her mind, leave all the crap they'd gone through behind. It was also a move to help rebuild trust between and exercise their capabilities.

Bella and her parents were on a ship bound for New York. Bella had been dreaming about falling in love with a handsome captain. She also wished to encounter pirates on the high seas. Her wishes were granted. Their ship was hijacked by pirates and she falls for the handsome pirate captain.
She had never encountered a man as handsome as Captain Edward Cullen. His strong physiques, his sparkling green eyes left her feeling weak. Part of her resents him because his life was filled with all the adventures she was deprived of because of her sex, but his touch ignited a yearning for forbidden intimacies.
