Wow, I honestly didn't think they would make it that far. I really hope that they make it all the way. I also hope that Emmett at least mentions the phone call to Carlisle, maybe if he hears Aro's name he'll think there's merit to the phone call, that its not a prank. Whether Carlisle gets the message & sends help or not I hope they make it to where they're all safe & don't get caught.
I knew Victoria wouldn't go. She's was raised in a house like that, born into it. She believes in that lifestyle & does know of another, probably doesn't even dream of it; sad.
That was also terrible what they did to Bree. They just threw her away without any thought. I'm not surprised but I was still terrible, they get a police team to that island Bree's body will be more evidence of what went on there.

to anyone reading this review contains a disturbing real life story so don't read if you don't want to know about it.
Oh poor Bree. I am really going to say something that some be a little controversial but if I were Bree and in those circumstances I really don't know if I would be happy to bring the baby into the world given that situation and place she has arrived in, I guess she must have blind hope that the good people there like Alice etc will get her baby out of there and keep her safe. But there is also a fair chance that her daughter could grow up in that life and I am not sure I would want her to face that. It reminds me of a terrible story I once read years ago about an apparantly beatiful little girl that was killed by her own devastated family who felt it was the only way to protect her because of the fact that they were refugees and were being descended on by a very large terrible group of men that had no qualms about raping women and children repeatedly and murdering them after. This happened in a desert and they suffocated her and buried her there before the group reached them. I think I read it in a broad sheet newspaper here in the UK years ago and remember being so upset by it. On that note I really hope Bella gets out of there before she is too big too and that they never find her, Edward or their children. I need a happy ending after all this!! :-(

You will get your happy ending. I'm not sure if you read the other to stories that go with this one, but if you remember, Aro's mother took her own life and the life of her daughter to save her from the torture. I also assure you that there will be a happy ending, and thought it might not be "happy" and "perfect" soon, there will be a major plot development in the next few chapters. Bree's death is having a huge impact on them all.

I sort of thought Bree might die during delivery. I hope Peter holds Aro and James responsible for her death, but most likely he won't care they allowed his 'property' to die. Poor Bree, she's at peace now, but her baby only has a damned life ahead if Edward and Jasper can't get them all off the island to safety.
What a terrifying ordeal to witness, not only to Bella and Edward, but to them all. I'm hoping they can get off the island before Bella gives birth.
The scene about the butterflies was a very touching and symbolic.

You know, I never thought of it, but they haven't become distant, but different. They are more comfortable with each other. They are like a true married couple. Some things are becomming routine. There is a lot going on right now, and I couldn't keep just focusing on their sex. And Bella's torture, though terrible to be kept captive, is really not happening right now.
