Wow I can't beleive Carlisle let her off. Especially after he told her about Marcus. And really Es wanted to be with Edward? Can you delve into that a little more because I don't really get it. From the earlier story, she didn't seem to show any kind of preference towards him, only Carlisle? Did I completely miss some cues or interpret this wrong?
Also, you really have me worried that this is going to come down to a brother vs brother conclusion. I am worried because the one thing this story had was no matter what thier innate nature was that they were brothers and nothing could get in the way of that.

I think it's because he's more 'human' with human problems that unfortunately can push a normal person over the edge. The thing with Esme, Wow. Honestly it was hard to read but keeping it in context i could understand it. I won't condone domestic violence but I can see how he went a little psychotic for a bit. It's almost like he was channeling the scray psycho of killerward but in his own calculated method. That in itself is most terrifying. I loved it.

This was a fun break. Kind of nice to get in Aro's head. I'm glad he got it back on straight. Just sad that Bella had to suffer because of it.
HA! He kinda got a tiny bit of revenge when he took the kids home! However, good to see that E&B are back to normal.
Plus at least Aro is getting him a little. That can never hurt in his situation.
Bet he watches Sonny like a hawk now though.
