Edward was 19. Bella was 13. They were next door neighbors. Charlie was the chief of police. Carlisle was a doctor at the local hospital.
Edward’s little sister Alice was also 13 and Bella’s best friend.
While home from college for the summer, Edward spent time with his little sister and her best friend so their parents could all go out for dinner.
Over the next several years, Edward and Bella became good friends, until the summer she turned 16 when she transformed before his eyes.
AH, ExB, Mostly EPOV, sort of coming-of-age, hopefully a little poignant, with a splash of angst until Bella's at least seventeen. Mature for language, eventual lemons and a very spunky Bella.

Haha, Bella's inner monologue was very entertaining to read. I loved Bella interacting with Angela and Hart. I always found it funny when people would do the "I have friend...", I mean it is way to obvious that they are talking about themselves when they say that. Wonderful chapter, can't wait for the next one.

I love your story, and I think it is cute that Edward is already developing feelings for Bella. This line "We stand there as the sun makes its first appearance over the trees in the horizon, and as its warmth spreads through me, I start to feel a little better with Bella in my arms. I haven’t felt like this in a long time, and it feels good. I feel . . . whole." made me warm inside. I can't wait to see their feelings develop.

Hmm, that was interesting, I can't help but think that there is a hidden meaning. Great chaper, and I just realized in the chapter NEVER SAY GOODBYE when Bella gave Edward the bracelet was that a reference to one of Kristen's old movies when she was little? I don't remember what movie, but I remember that she gave a bracelet to some guy. Can't wait for your next update.

Well, I don't know about the reference, but there are meanings behind the titles. I like to weave the story along with them, so that when you see the title, you know something good or bad might be happening.

Awww, they are already stealing glances. I loved this chapter, but someone needs to knock some sense into Carlisle's and Charlie's head. On another note, when I mentioned a reference in my last review, I found out that in the movie THE SAFETY OF OBJECTS Kristen's character did give another character a handmade bracelet. In a way you unknownly make a reference. Can't wait for your next update.

Oh my god, you do not know how hard I laughed when Eddie said "Maybe she passed out." I thought this was a very sweet chapter to show how well Edward's and Bella's friendship really is.
