Poor Alice caught between the two.

I love this story!!! I love any type of Edward, but Vampire Edward is more than enough to get me hot and bothered. It is amazing how complex this story is and I cannot wait til the Ultimate Vampire takes his shot against Aro and becomes King. At least I hope that is the direction you are leading. The sexual tension, the drama and not to mention the raw, hard sex is such a turn on!!! I know you will keep it coming.
Also, I hope you will get back to Living Amongst Hell becomes mean vamp Dickward is just as hot as our Ultimate Vampire in this story. Just saying it is added to my list of favorites and I am waiting for that update.

Preview of next chapterEverything that had happened to me replayed over and over in my mind, I knew that wherever I went I would be laughed at, mocked. Why should I think that I would be able to walk away from this unscathed, the laughter I heard in the school gym would only be the beginning of my misery. There is noting that I can do stop or calm it down, no that power had been well and truly in Bella’s hands and she’d thrown away that chance when she denied that we had anything together. Then of course there is Tanya. She told Bella about us to make her jealous and to try and break us up. Tanya I thought always knew that I didn’t love her, she was just there at the right time and I thought that she felt the same way as I did, that what we had was just a bit of fun.
Neither of them could be trusted that was now clear, they had both hurt and betrayed me I pictured them getting together, laughing and joking as they compared notes on my performance. I snorted at the thought finding some humor in that dark thought.
Bella didn’t give up with the phoning or the messages. Eventually I answered one of her calls, I didn’t give her chance to speak as I snapped down the phone at her.
“Fuck off Bella. I really don’t want to speak to you now, or ever. Leave me alone.”

I honestly love this Edward (actually, truthfully, I love any Edward as long as he is based off of Rob P) but this Edward is one of my favorites. He is so complex, complicated. He has so many levels to his character. I have an analytical brain so I completely get a lot of his thought processes, but being female allows me to see the emotional side easy. I love how he has to sepearate himself and go through things step-by-step. He sure messed up bad this time, but at least it took him less than a day to realize his mistake and how huge a jerk he was. Great chapter! I always look forward to the next hoping he will let that line he has drawn blur just a little bit more. Please let the line blur? Bella may be good at being patient, but I am having a hard time with it!

I'm so glad to hear how and why you love this Edward. It's all the reasons I love him. I can get very bogged down in details and completely miss how it's affecting the ones around me. After all these years, they let it slide a lot, but like Bella, they know when not to let it slide. And like me, he is quick to figure out his error and digs right in to fixing what broke. We analytical types have to stick together ;)
He manipulated and tainted everything he touched and I wouldn't allow him to touch me so I ran. "You can run Isabella but you can't hide, do you hear me? You're mine Isabella, you're mine!" He's found me... Warning: extreme Darkward. Read at your own risk.

Thanks for your review to chapter 42 and please accept my apologies for being so tardy in responding. I'm glad you liked Double-cross. Unfortunately RL has interfered with my writing for the past 6 or 7 weeks. My mum decided to move from Melbourne to Sydney and I've spent much of my free time either arranging her move, helping her move, painting her flat and having her as a guest for much of the past month, and then putting together endless packages of Ikea furniture, that I didn't have time for anything else, since I also had to work fulltime. My tiny flat was so crowded, I couldn't even reach my computer let alone see it due to all of the crap on top of it. Mum is now happily ensconced in her new flat and I am slowly putting my own home back to rights. I hope to have a new chapter posted over Easter, or perhaps earlier if all goes smoothly. The entire room was covered in different color flowers and a path of rose petals led the way to the bedroom. I walked over and opened the door. The bed was covered in more rose petals and roses. champagne and apple cider were lay in the ice bucket next to the bed along with chocolate truffles and strawberries. I could feel Bella coming up behind me and wrapping her arms around my waist. "Why Edward? Why did you do all of this," she asked. I turned around and took her face in between my hands. "Because I love you baby and I wanted to spoil you, even if it is only for one night," I said, pressing my lips softly to hers. I swept my tongue across her lower lip seeking access into her mouth which she willingly gave. I left her lips and travelled down to her neck sucking and kissing it before pulling away. I know that Edward has a right to know that he is going to be a father but I also think that what he doesn't know won't hurt him. I was about to say this to Alice when I heard someone coming in the front door. Alice put her finger to her lips telling us to be quiet and then left the room to see who it was. Hello everyone! Thanks for all your kind words. We want to start off by addressing some of the frequent questions. This quote (“I know they love me, really ... I know but, it’s strange, maybe it’s just me. You know that I see and hear things differently from the rest of the world, but thank you for doing this and answering my questions.”) from chapter five had someone ask, what Bella meant. Bella is referring to how she perceives her family versus the way others do. Jacob is not a card we are showing yet, you’ll have to be patient to see what he has up his sleeve. Did Bella hear him in the shower? We have yet to hear that answer from Bella ourselves, but in my thoughts she surely did. Will there be any chapters in Bella’s POV? She is talking a little here and there, but nothing’s set in stone as of yet. Shouldn’t Edward as a good Dom cancel the scene? The scene is not canceled, but it has been modified from the original way it was written. This was for several reasons. We have sixteen chapters written, yet we still continue to makes tweaks and changes here and there before posting. When we started making him have hard feelings about the upcoming scene, or feel nervous about it, we started discussing it more. We found a way to appease us, our readers and yet still show what we wanted to show. So trust us—please. I’m glad we haven’t fallen into the pleads for more chapters to post faster, because in the last week we haven’t gotten another one done. Of course WeeKittyAndTAT, JessAndTAT and TeamAllTwilight all submitted pieces of work into the Fandom Fights LLS. WeeKittyAndTAT did an Epilogue of sorts for Ropin’ A Sitter. JessAndTAT did a future take on Bases Loaded. I wrote a new fan fiction novella, it’s called, The Things That Make You Click. Felix nods at me, but doesn’t say anything. I carry on, walking toward Jenks, when I’m stopped by Tanya.
“Sir, I have some news that I would like to share with you.”
I turn and face Tanya who looks like the cat who got the cream. “Tanya, I’m very busy, it’ll have to wait until tomorrow.”
I move away from her, but she grabs my wrist pulling me back. “It’s very important, Sir.”
I yank my arm away from her, turning to face her once more. “Tanya, don’t you tell me when I will speak with you. I’m busy, so unless you’re going to die in the next five minutes and need me to call an EMT for you, I don’t want to know. And never touch me again without my consent!”
I walk away without waiting for her response. As I approach Jenks, he shakes his head, looking behind me at Tanya.
“Ah, still trying to get your attention then?”
I nod at him, opening up my office.
“I’d stay away from that one; she’s clearly after money, fame and quite frankly, has ‘whore’ written all over her.”
I chuckle a little at his quite accurate synopsis of Tanya. “Yes, I know. Those are the main reasons I have always refused her, that, and she makes me lose brain cells every time she opens her mouth. But enough about her, what did you find out.”
Jenks looks at me sadly and I can clearly see the worry on his face. “This is not going to be easy to read. Even harder for you I’d say, because you’ve become somewhat involved with the girl.”
I nod at him in understanding. “Just show me.”

Renee is a real piece of shit! I can't decide who is worse, her or Charlie. THey have both abused Bella, although in different ways but it seems to have had the same outcome. I want someone to rip Renee a new asshole. And I hope Phil is finally seeing who is married to. I can't wait for an update.

Well without a doubt I think it is a clean sweep, everyone wants to either: kill, beat or maim Renee. Nikky and I both want to thank you all for telling us all of this. To us it means more knowing we were able to evoke those kinds of feelings in our readers, than any of you can know.
There have been a few people laying threats about bring charges or else I will walk from the story. I want to address that by saying, Bella is not as weak as she used to be, and trust that the cards will fall exactly as they should. Renee’s story is set in stone for us, and we will not deviate from how we planned it. Neither of us wants to say, Renee will go to jail and Renee will suffer this and that way ... What we want is for this story to unfold as it was and is intended to do so. All we can say is trust in us enough to know that we will not let a story go with things unfinished.
Now we do need to address the several comments about how Edward needed to step up and be the Dom and take control at the hospital and how Renee wouldn’t have been allowed to do what she did. Sadly if a person is an adult and is unmarried and doesn’t have a power of attorney signed over to someone else, medical choices fall to your nearest blood relative. Edward trying to control things would’ve most likely gotten him removed from the premises, and we’re sure you’ll appreciate how well he brings out the Dom soon. Some questioned if the hospital would’ve kept Renee out being it was her fault, but unless the police were involved the hospital is in a hard situation.
Finally we want to say again that we will continue to post every Sunday night/Monday morning, until the story is fully written. Once the story is fully finished we will post twice a week until it is completely posted. Thank you so very much for reading our story, reviewing our story and loving our story so much.

I really enjoy this story but it is almost a slow burn. It's killing me....I am ready for them to revisit some sexy times! Anyway, on another note, I really appreciate the fics that you are rec'ing. I have gone looking for almost everyone of the stories if I haven't read it already.

I can so visualize Edward running to get his gear on, jumping in the truck and pulling out of the station. Its an amazing visual.
Is it bad that I begin to fantasize about when he gets back to the station and him stripping down? Yummy.
Bella is a paranormal investigator. Edward is being seduced by some frisky ghosts. Will Bella be able to help his situation? Or will she just add to the problem by seducing Edward too? This is sort of a crack-fic. Something silly or funny in every chapter, but with a good plot.
This story contains some sexual situations, violence and foul language, so if any of this offends you, please do not read. I do guarantee a lot of laughs along with it though.

I enjoyed the story. Emmett was a little hard to get used to but all in all, it was a good story with a really different storyline than what is normally posted. Some of the characters had very different attributes to their personality that was a change from the norm too
