Bella knew he must have been in his fifties but he looked late thirties at the most. His dark skin and long braided hair told her that he was Native American. He was not unattractive but his eyes looked weathered, dim where they should have held a spark. In his hand he held an old notebook, nothing fancy and it looked well used. There were papers popping out the sides and the edges of those were rolled and torn.
The police officer stood on her porch and Bella at the door with her hands on her hips.
“How could you?” she accused. “We have been beating off reporters since I talked to you. Why would you do that to him?”

You know what I thought of when reading this chapter? That when Edward goes overboard in the Prologue....Charlie or someone of equal importance is going to go in after him and die in his place. Oh, God, that would be horrible all the way around!!!! I hope no-one dies at the end of the Proglogue. I don't think Bella or I could handle that.
I do have other things to worry about in my life, believe it or not BUT how this whole Prologue is going to go down is worrying the shit out of me. I mean, really!!!

If you didn't catch it reading the chapters. Prima Nocte is a parallel story to Four Weeks, which is about Jasper and how she met Alice. It is the same story, just from Jasper's POV. I thought I'd twist it up a bit and make Jasper a woman.

King Edward will continue to be a right royal prick and pain in the ass, but will eventually redeem himself. I thought it would be intriguing to have Bella and Tanya as comforters to one another and companions. Tanya is like a mother figure to Bella. There will be a later chapter that involves Bella and King Edward discussing Tanya which I hope will answer your questions on how she was as a wife and queen. Glad you like it.
