This author is advocating a revolting setup where sexual assault is nothing but exploitative titillation. The idea that a woman could fall in love with the man who enslaved her, raped her, allowed others to rape her, beat her, allowed others to beat her, and basically human traffiked her to train her into his version of a perfect wife is ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS!!! Edward ending up doing serious jail time would have been the only acceptable resolution of this vile story. Shame on this author and shame on all the reviewers who left positive comments to this #RapeCulture garbage!!! #StopViolenceAgainstWomen

i'm really REALLY worried!!!! your jake is absolutely terrifing and james is the epithomy of smarmy and vile! bella's pretty strong when pushed to an extreme by edward but seems completely useless when it comes to other people. i hope she's going to grow some guts to stand up for helself or at least the cullens should be there to defend her. dunno... i'm very stressed by your intentions with the plot direction and bella's character because as much as i enjoyed reading this whole story (+the hot bdsm scenes /spicy lemonade) i cannot possibly read a rape scene ;(((! i just can't stomach that even if it fits the plot line... soooo, if you're planning to have bella abused by jake and james then i'm outie. i trust you'll put a disclamer at the beggining of your next chapter if that's the case. i look forward with much trepidation to your next update, albeit full of fear. xo

Hey there,
Thanks for the wonderful review. Please don't worry, I have NO INTENTION of writing a rape scene in this story - it is exteamly difficult to write any kind of abuse for me, and there is just no room for rape in my Bella's life. I PROMISE. I will keep your suggestion in mind though, and if there is violence then I will say so in the chapters notes. BUT NO RAPE! Bella is growning, even though it seems like one step forward and two steps back right now, she is getting stronger. And she is in fact, a very strong person, except that like most women, she is only aware of her weaknesses and she totally discounts her strengths.
