Greetings!

Where to begin. Well. This is my first time doing any type of creative writing. I am used to whipping up boring expository writings. My favorite excuse is that this is my first piece of writing that doesn't include a bibliography.

As a teacher, I try to challenge my students to step outside of their comfort zone. Well, after reading the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer, on a whim I may add, my students offered me the same challenge. So...here I am, attempting to write for you.

Ultimately, my students are my critics. I don't feel the need to beg for feedback from readers. If there is some thing that brings out a strong reaction, good or bad, people will say something. If not...I just hope that they enjoy the story.

My Life's Mantra:

Intelligence Isn't Everything

Well, how do I begin?

As you may or may not know, Intelligence is my first form of creative writng. It is a stepping stone of sorts for me and definitely a learning experience. Since I started ths journey, I have learned many, many things about myself as an individual and as a writer.

First, I need to begin with a clear goal in mind. I know what I want my characters to experience...but getting them there is half the battle. A great ouline works wonders...hence...the great delay...I've been outlining!

Secondly, I can only do one story at a time. With that being said...another reason for the great gap inbetween updates is because I have THREE, yes THREE, other story lines in my dome...one of which is Edwards POV for Intelligence. There are two others that I have been oulining the living daylights out of so that I don't forget all the cool and juicy details. I cannot wait to write them!!

HOWEVER!! I can only write one at a time...I want to focus all my energy on one at a time in order to do them any kind of justice. Otherwise, it turns into which kid is favored over another..and I just can't have my stories fighting over me...not cool...so...I will finish Intelligence. As for which one after that? Who knows!

Thirdly, I need a beta to help keep me focused...and one has so gratiously stepped up to the plate. Juliebly is awesome. She is currently writing Anywhere But Here with Jersey(SparklingTwilight) ...you need to read it...its awesome...Jersey has this other small story that she has been working on...you might have heard of it...Tides of Fate...

While your waiting for me to get my act together...reat those two...you won't be dissappointed...I promise.
