The plot to blackmail Alice in order to get closer to her best friend, Bella, forms in his mind, but doesn't exactly pan out the way he wants it to. This is an AU story which takes place almost ten years after what happened in New Moon. Edward never came back so Bella ended up living a normal life, as far as this is possible. There are vampires and werewolves but they are not the main concern of the story.
