I loved this.  I could strangle Alice for disappearing like that & leaving Jasper a broken mess.  But I am also glad that her leaving opened the door both guys to finally see each other & possibly find their happiness in each other.  Nicely done.

I am wondering what is going on in that big head of his. I've racked by brain but can't come up with anything other than the Jane thing. He's being ugly to her w/o being directly ugly & I honestly don't understand that. I am hoping that he is not consciously punishing her. I am proud of her for both honoring her promise to put it all down in her journal but even more proud of her for wanting to address this w/Edward directly. Looking forward to the next time.

There are always 2 sides 2 every situation. I was aggravated @ Edward last chapter & I like many others made that well known. I knew that he walked away b/c he was far too upset & he needed to gain control of his feelings. Now that we have taken a walk in his mind, I understand a little more. To be honest, as much as I racked my brain, I didn't get it all right. But that's okay b/c you are the leader on this journey & I trust you completely to get us all where we are supposed to be.
I'm sorry that Irene, the bitch, did a number on ya'll. I'm in Pensacola & I recall all too well the feeling, having been through Ivan. We were w/o everything for 19 LONG days. Thank God for free MRE's, water & ice as well as the Red Cross truck delivering hot meals. I hope all goes well & the aftermath is dealt with swifty & safely.

Oh, I fear you have spoiled me this week w/ 2 u/d's! I really enjoyed both chapters. I'm sad 2 know things are winding down, but I want you to know I have enjoyed every single word.
I am anxious for Bella to wake up & know that help is on it's way. I'm sad to know Jacob will be caught in the middle & may very well perform his greatest & most selfless act as Bella's protector. I hope that is not the case b/c I do so want him to feel the joy of being a daddy. And poor Emmett when he finds out.

The Theatre really sounds grand & beautiful. You described it so well that I can actually see it.  Much like you did in BV when Jacob & Rose went on a small vaca.

I do not blame Bella for wanting to try & smooth things first with Michael.  That said, I think that they should all be pre-emptive in their plans.  I think it is an excellent idea to have Jasper & Alice go south.  I do so love the idea of carlisle helping them out, even if I am worried for his well being.  I mean it's not like Jasper & Alice will be able to help him if there is trouble in broad daylight. Either way,  I think it is better if they go ahead & make thier arrangements to leave.

Esme can be a tad scary when she sees that her family is in danger.  A pissed, scared Esme, can be a SCAREY Esme.

How you manage to leave me on the edge of my seat @ the end of every single chapter is beyond me. Excellent chapter.  Looking forward to next week!

I am really enjoying the back story on Michael. It adds a nice dynamic I think. Personally I think a portion of the insanity must come from the taxing act of trying to read that book. "...but he was concerned that the toll it took on his body would have lasting effects." Yeah that's the message I get from that line anyway.

"I haven't had a bath in over a week..." ewww...Stiiiinky.

"Edward kept hearing Jasper's prayer over and over.Please not that, not that, not that." What is "that"? This just gets curiouser & curiouser.

"...Jacob was an infant in his mother's arms. Only, in this moment, his mother was Michael." Okay that is just plain out creepy right there.

"Alice was practically perched on his shoulder, her yellow scarf completing the image of a parrot." That image is freakin' hilarious to me. Even funnier is that I can actually see this image clearly.

'Carlisle answered quicker than he expected to. "Let me go." ' *whoosh* I certainly was not expecting that at all. My guess is Esme may have a little more to say about this. After all, they are life partners & Esme being the kind of wife & mother she is, may just want to do whatever it takes to keep her family together. Honestly, I think if I were faced with this same decision, I would most likely choose the same as Carlisle. I cannot imagine living on this earth for thousands of years. In foresight it shound like it would be exciting, seeing the world change around you, watching the advancement of technology, science & medicine. On the flip side I think that you would get to a point where losing those you care about to aging & death, may just make you withdraw just to protect yourself. I think it would harden you. *shrugs* I dunno really what I would do. Thankfully, that is not a decision I will ever be in a place to face.

As always, i enjoyed this chapter. It was very informative & deep. I am anxious to hear more of Michael & how he got to where he is & especially about his obvious gift. I think that is cool. I am anxiously awaiting next weekend. I must admit I am suprised about the non-cliffie. No worries though, i won't get used to it. Wouldn't want you to spoil me or anyone else.

When they returned to the theatre, they were saddened by how easy it was to find wickedness on the streets and it was noted by Bella that the convenience was not worth that knowledge. --- Sad thing about this is that some things never change. I am glad that I cannot see into the minds of people. I have a strange feeling that many people are definitely not as they seem.

...discovered that nearly all politicians were, in fact, vampires. --- Aha ha ha!!!

They met many vampires that day. Some of them eyed Carlisle like he was a turkey leg. --- I have a feeling though, that had they decided to knaw on said leg, they might have discovered that Jasper & Alice would be the ones giving them a deadly dose of thier own personal Tryptophan.

Nekked = wearing nothing but the breeze :o)  I think I will borrow this one.

I had a feeling that Michael was after Bella so that she could read from the book. This places her in peril & I have a sneaking suspicion that Edward will be the death of Michael. Although . . . I am very much intrigued by the story in the book. I haven't liked him since the first time I read of him. I felt sympathy for him for a while, but that time has passed.

I am loving this & I am looking forward to next Saturday. Hope ya'll have a good week.

I think I'm gonna love the people that they have become just as much as I loved learning who they were. Make sense? Lord having a pre-teen (ish) child is a true test of your patience. I survived it as did my daughter. I am now a new grandmother (Ammie) & I giggle inside for knowing what she will be in for. Hee Hee. Very much looking forward to the next chapter. I loved the brother time. It was sweet & sad @ the same time. I can easily picture both of them side by side on a little bed just being brothers. They have been "brothers" in the "family" but I feel its been a while since they could just be brothers. Make sense.
I feel so badly for Aro. Part of me hopes he regains his memories & the other part hopes not. This is a chance for him to begin again w/o all the ugly. I know when he starts remembering it will not be pretty. I'm glad he has his true friends there to support him & help him through it.
I'm super anxious to read what he tells Bella. Part of me is a little worried as well.

Ya know, some time back I had a fleeting thought that Charlie wasn't her Daddy, because normally Daddy's are not like that towards their daughters. But I let it go telling myself I was reading too much into it...telling myself if that was true, when the time was right you would tell us. Well that time is now, and you did.
I love it that your characters have flaws. Sometimes, I wish I could just crawl right onto the page with them all...ya know be a fly on their walls so to speak. Reading them is the next best thing.
I normally don't make comparisons, & this is no different, but when I see your updates & read your words, I find that I get the same chills of anticipation like I had reading Winndsinger's "The Red Line" & "Coloring Outside the Lines". The feelings I have are the only comparison but still.....
Loved this chapter & SOOOO looking forward to the next update.

Personally I would so LOVE a little more of the "light", so I'm up for more beach fun. I'm cool w/whatever you have in mind but...you DID ask! ;-)

I absolutely loved this story. It's been on my favorites for a long time & I'm honestly not quite sure why I hadn't read it before now. Better late than never huh? This was a fantastic journey to be on with you. :)

Sometimes knowing the awful details is very very painful, but is most certainly better than not knowing & allowing your imagination to come up with something that, most of the time, is so much worse than the reality.
In Edwards case I am just a little ashamed in his small selfishness, but @ lease there was someone there that was willing to set him straight.
Love this story & was very excited to see this update in my mailbox this evening. *MWAH*

Wow....a LOT happened in this chapter & processing it is difficult. I kinda felt this was where Damion's mind was @ for a few chapters now. He certainly didn't handle this situation well, if @ all but I also think he's been so...detached emotionally for so long that he wasn't equipped to deal with so much coming out @ 1 time.
Regarding Lauren, I'm glad the heifer is dead, & honestly glad it wasn't Damion that pulled the trigger. He needed to see w/his own eyes that his pain is his family's pain.
I know it'll be a long road ahead for him & he certainly should seek counseling, individual, couple (w/Amelia) & family. All of the Cullen's are gonna be pretty messed up about this, but I have no doubt that @ the end of the day they will all be just fine, not normal, but fine.
Don't sweat the haters. If they don't like what they are reading then they can hit the little "X" & move on already. The rest of us are hungry for your words. Trust.
