I really like this Bella in that she's strong. But, I'm not happy that Edward and Alice railroaded her into doing something that she's clearly uncomfortable with and Emmett and Rosalie just stands around making fun. I dislike it when they do this. Bella should be able to say no to things without her friends getting on her ass or making her feel guilty about the fact that she doesn't want to do it and her friends should respect that when she says "no" it means she doesn't want to and when she says that she's uncomfortable with it they should respect that not pander to her telling her it will be fine and she'll thank them later.
Edward Cullen is used to getting everything he wants. Good looking, wealthy, and charming, NYC's most reputable playboy doesn't take "no" for an answer. Then he meets Isabella Swan and all bets are off ... Except for one.

I'm glad that Bella is being rational here. So many times in fanfiction when something goes wrong Bella shuts out the world and cuts Edward out completely. I'm glad that she's going to give Edward and chance to tell his story. That said, Edward is going to have to pull out some big guns to make sure that Bella knows he loves her. I'm also glad that she kicked Rose and Alice out. I think Alice is good but Rose is one big ball of hormonal angry out for blood.

Reading this chapter all I could think about was Edward may have said that Jessica was nice and sweet but all I could think was what a bitch. It was ok for her to go off and have her Paris dreams but she wasn't supportive of Edward's dreams of going to Columbia and working at JP Morgan? I think Edward takes far too much of the blame for him and Jessica's break-up. Love this story though. I love a rehabilitated Edward.

BTW good for Seth for puking all over his suit, he deserves it. And, I think that Momma Bear Bella is awesome.

Most of the time I side with Bella, but she's being COMPLETELY irrational. This isn't how things work in a relationship, you talk to each other and figure out what's going on. To be honest I think this story is just alright, I understand that this is Edward and Bella and they're destined to be together and all that crap but seriously, they met and two days later they were declaring their love and then five days they were moving in together. Maybe that's how you planned it so that they would have these problems now, but then it seemed a little farfetched...

I'm all for Bella and Edward being together but honestly, that's it? No communication on what drove them apart in the first place, no admission of the deep seated fears that Bella has regarding being cheated on. No discussion of Edward's obvious abandonment issues? Just a couple of sorries and sex and that's supposed to make everything all better?

Don't take it all so seriously veedubgirl17. The story isn't over. Bella has confessed she was a fool to leave him, she was miserable, she missed him, she was a vegetable, she was jealous that Leah was touching him, she saw the love in his eyes for Leah and it hurt her, she wanted to never leave him again, what more would you suggest I add? Bella is insecure because of what Jacob did to her when she was madly in love with him and he hurt her. He screwed her best friend when she thought everying was good between them. She fears of that pain again. I wasn't until this separation from Edward that she realizes that she doesn't want to be without him again and will never make that mistake again. Would you have me drag this out and drone on for several chapters about what a twit she is? Tell me, how would you have handled this?
Bella Swan works as a nurse at Cook County Hospital in the ER. She's older and desperate for love. It's hindered by her shy personality and plump body. Her father, whom she lives with, teases her relentlessly for being fat and single.
Edward Cullen, thirty-three, is hired as a doctor in the ER. He's getting over a divorce. He moved to Chicago to be closer to his family: sister, Rosalie, and brother, Jasper. Rosalie is younger than Edward by ten years and is struggling with an eating disorder brought on by a heinous rape of her ex-boyfriend. Jasper, twenty-seven, is finishing up his doctorate in history.
Bella is charmed by this new doctor in the ER. He's kind and thinks about his patients and maintains a friendly rapport with the nurses and orderlies. Edward is intrigued by the sad nurse who does her job efficiently but doesn't have a sparkle in her eyes.
Will she allow Dr. Cullen into her life or will she let her insecurities get in the way of her happiness. Perhaps, Dr. Feelgood can write her a prescription. A prescription for love...

Love this new story and I love that they aren't perfect. So many times Bella is perfect but is constantly down on herself and it's annoying and of course Edward is perfect. Even when they aren't it's ok because they're Edward and Bella. I feel so bad for Bella with what she has to deal with at work and especially with Charlie. I hope we find out what made him a bitter old asshole. I'm glad that she's taking the bull by the horns and I can't wait until Bella meets Rose.

I think your story is wonderful and I think it's real. I read this story where the characters said ILY within hours of meeting each other and then when Bella left and came back, they had make up sex and Bella said I'm sorry and it was over. I'm a firm believer that people don't react that way. As much as I love fluff and stuff, things are not all happiness and rose colored glasses. Your characters react in ways I would expect real people to react. Just because Bella apologized for not trusting Edward with Rosalie doesn't mean that the hurt Edward felt goes away. Sure, he understands where she's coming from but it still hurts and just because Bella finds an amazing guy doesn't mean that years of awfulness goes away. Thank you so much for making this story about real people and not just the canned MFEO crap a lot of authors put out. There are hurdles in real life, it's not just smooth sailing. Again, I think your story is wonderful and to hell with the person who said you wrote Edward like a 15 year old girl! I look forward to reading the new chapter of your story everytime it pops up in my inbox.

In love with this story. I can tell you that I'm not looking for the sperm donor to come back. I'd also love to know why people hate Bella. I mean, there has to be something besides the way she looks, maybe jealousy? Also, I can't believe how much of an ass Jasper. I'd love to see what in the world goes on in his head. How incredbly shallow. How would he feel if Alice wasn't so thin. As you can see I'm not quite ready to forgive him yet ;)

Ugh. Not sure how I feel about this chapter. I loved Bella going all momma bear. I think they deserved all of her ire and messing with Alice and Jasper. I mean, we all know that they are mfeo but sometimes the timing isn't right. I'm thinking that this is one of those situations. I mean, what in the world is Alice going to do while Jasper is gallavanting around all of these places and she's just tagging along. I loved Edward's guilt trip and if I were him, I'd put a boot in the ass of his so called best friend. Ugh! Love this story though.
