this was a particularly brutal chapter. i'm glad Bella finally recovered, as much as anyone could recover from such a vicious attack. it seems fitting that Caius was left to the mob to be dealt with...

This feels like an almost wind up chapter. Like the story is winding up, coming closer to an end....Kylie is 19 and nervous to go to a Burger King alone...princess, indeed! Bella wasn't like that back then and I can see she wishes Kylie had more freedom to stand on her own. At the same time Bella knows life is different for Kylie..Love their interaction. Aro and Skip reminiscing about the good old days cracks me up! Shaving their heads?? For a disguise? Their white domes will give them away! LOL! When you are done with this I'm going back to read QS again...my way of reminiscing...you know i love these stories...

You've given us another one of your sprawling, widely painted, gorgeous chapters!  I couldn't be happier for Sonny and Maggie! He wants so badly to be a dad, and now he will be!  I notice he didn't address Dame's remark, the one he made to Maggie, about a clinic that could take care of her. He was referring to abortion and that was quite rude of him!  I love Dame, but of all the kids, he has NO filter at all! The interaction between Maggie and Sonny just always floors me. There's so much love there. She is both a scared girl and a mouthy woman. I really love their dynamic.  Skip's relationship with his sons, the conversations he has with Sonny here, I just get very emotional reading this stuff..... I truly hope that Sonny forgives like he says he does. He ends up hurting Dame all the time....I wonder if someday he will go farther with that.....

wow it seems that cute little Damion is no more....instead there's this handaome, fucked up sort-of man who either has no heart of too much of one.....I have a bad feeling about his destiny....

This feels like the end of the story may be near. Edward feels older, somewhat removed from the life, as much as he can ever be. He talks about torches being passed for a reason....I loved the stuff in the desert between him and Aro, what with Edward playing around with Aro, about the snakes and scorpions and such...funny stuff....I'm glad they didn't kill Heidi's son. Looks like WIT SEC isn't all that good at keeping people alive....Thanks you for pushing through what life threw at you and giving us another marvelous chapter in this epic. I'm so glad you're pulling QS to publish!

It's good to hear from Dame again!  It sounds like he's kind of on the outs with the rest of the family, but maybe that's a good thing!  Man, have I missed this story. So happy to read a new chapter!  I wonder what Amelia is up to and how she will react to Dame's call....and will he tell Jordan?  It hard to tell if the old Dame is still there somewhere inside him....I suspect the potential is still there.  Maybe he will be honest with Jordan after all. I loved what he said about her being the first girl who he believes loves him...or something like that....anyway, I hope all is well with you and that the muse has returned for a while this time....

I love the playfulness of this chapter.  I think Dame is right...in that his relationship  with Sonny is bound to change sooner or later....Dame has always been my favorite of the kids, still is!  I'm glad he got out...or was pushed out, or took himself out, whichever it was....maybe all of that....I think Jordan is the real deal and I love them together!

what can I say....it's still so surreal that this is all coming to an end! have you thought about a book deal yet? i hope you have....and that whoever you go with lets you have free rein over the content....i like here that you have the 3 kids' POVs. i'm kind of shocked that Jasper had to go, as he was the one who first introduced Edward and Bella....but not surprised as that seems to be par for the course in this life.  will epi #2 be about the 2 who started it all?  Our beloved Skip and Bebella?   my best wishes to you in life, my dear, and thank you so much for giving us this glorious story!

There's something different about the tone of this chapter now that it's become part of a new story instead of an epilogue....I LOVED the exchange between Damion and Edward in the garage.  We're getting into some real and deep shit here and that's what I have always loved about the Storm stories.  I'm glad you are doing it this way with a new story.  I am definitely in for the duration.  Damion is my favorite of all the characters besides E and B....

I'm not sure how I feel about Damion telling Edward about Alex.....if Carlisle finds out, there may be trouble, no, will be trouble!  Amelia seems sweet and into Damion.  Damion is a contradiction, big time!  Shy, sometimes sweet, blunt, but when he drinks, he just goes psycho!  Love the "static electricity" between him and Amelia!  I feel this story is starting to come into it's own a bit more not and not be just an epilogue to WTS.  It has it's own personality more and more now with these last 2 chapters.  Love it to pieces.....

I just love Sonny with Maggie.  I love them together. Despite the age and cultural differences, they just fit!  Sometimes you just know and this is one of those pairings. The pictures of them and their togetherness just jump the fuck right off the page in vividness with the way you write them.  I'm not kidding, it's like I'm at the movies! Also I'm liking Kylie a bit better now. The interaction between her and Bella mellowed me out a bit toward her in this chapter. Their mother-daughter bond shows up big time here. You're the best! I'm just an old California woman and you make me feel like I'm really there in their world when I read this story....

So it's good riddance to Julie, is it?  I like Dame and Amelia together but am not sure it will last.

Kylie is such a little girl.  I mean she's technically an adult but growing up as the baby and all has made her, well, a baby! 

I don't think Edward, or Aro, will let Katie keep the baby away from Bella....that just won't happen! 

This chapter came quickly!  This must be pouring out of you!  Good to be inspired, huh? Love this story!

I love Dame and everything about him.  I love how he is, all of him.  He has loads of problems but somehow that attracts me....He is a lot like Edward.  A LOT!  I very much enjoyed reading this chapter and everything that happened in it.  From all the doctor-oriented stuff, to the fighting with Amelia, to the confrontation at Eclipse.  Your characters are colorful and complex.  Your stories always entertain me. 

oh where do i start....you packed so much in this chapter....Kylie and Maggie are natural friends...the nun and the spoiled princess! LOL! Kylie's scheme to have Sonny flirt with Maggie to make Dame jealous? That has potential to backfire big time! I think Layla likes Sonny. Edward letting his girls wear skimpy Halloween costumes?? Unheard of!  Is he getting soft in his old age? J/K....oh and Kylie telling Eddie to show Maggie his peen cuz she's never seen one....I'm rolling on the floor laughing.  I fucking love this story...

Jesus fucking christ!!!!   What in the hell is wrong with Dame?  Does he have a death wish?  I like him, I really do, but then I'm a pretty sick mf my self sometimes.....He doesn't seem to have any sense of right and wrong....he just wants what he wants....He really wants both Amelia and Maggie?  Maybe he just wants what each can do for him, not really caring about either....do you call that a sociopath? Is that what he is?  If Carlisle doesn't kill him, then Sonny just might!  What's with these guys and their sibling shit!  Edward and Carlisle, Sonny and Damion, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! This is some really entertaining shit!!  It makes for a really good read! Why would anyone want to flounce? I certainaly don't!!

Well the cat's out of the bag now....god damn Lauren!!  wait until Katie finds out what her mother did....I feel bad for Amelia!  And Dame!!!  I have so many feelings about these characters, I really am invested in and care about what happens in their lives!  Damn, this is good!  Thank you so much, Lexi, for writing such an engaging and riveting story!  I really hope that Dame lets SOMEBODY help him....my ex-husband was raped, abused by his own mother at age 14!  He never told anyone until he was dying of AIDS over 50 years later....this made him twisted in so many ways that it changed his entire life. Even when he told me, finally when we became friends many years after our divorce, he still referred to it as having sex with his mother and felt shame about it!  He never accepted it as abuse....it was too sad....sorry for the spill, but this chapter made me think of that....and he's been dead now for 6 years....

Thank you for getting this out to us even though you were sick!  I truly didn't expect a chapter until you felt better.  I love Sonny and Maggie together!  Fuck the haters!  I love how she makes him feel, how in love with her he is!  It's a wonderful thing to see!  I feel badly, however, for Dame!  He is really messed up. The speech about being young and innocent once just like Maggie, and having that taken away from him......that was about what Lauren did to him, I know it was.  I hope very much that he recovers from his alcohol poisoning, but  his liver might be in trouble if he keep this up.  Ah, I just fucking love this story and was very happy to see this chapter in my inbox tonight! feel better soon!!

wow what a ride!!  Sonny kills Caius!  I think that shit will come back to haunt both Sonny and Aro somewhere down the like....could Skip kill his own son?  could he kill Aro?  I guess anything could happen..but Bella would either leave or kill Edward if he harmed her son.....I really love this story, all of these stories....they're so gritty and twisted....you are one helluva story teller, woman!!

ok....first part....Skip and Bebella...what a fucking hoot! What a great glimpse into how they are together now, later on in years! The getting high secretly is so funny! Her subtle complaint about lack of foreplay is said so matter-of-factly that it's almost like she's talking about a new recipe or something! No anger, just a kind of "0h well" attitude, said with a sigh....then she wonders the same about her son!  I loved that whole part. Very light hearted for those 2....Then there is my lovely Dame....I am glad he finally got his answers and ended it with Amelia. It looks like he is too! Isn't it a pattern with him that he's right on to the next woman....a serial relationship artist, that one!  I really like him with Jordan. I like her! I like his butterflies when he's around her.  Maybe this one will be it for him....It's good to see him happier.  Another immensely satisfying chapter! Thank, Lexi!!

thanks for showing us the real side to Sonny and Maggie! thanks for showing the chinks in their armor!  I love how Sonny is when he's with Maggie! He loves her and can show a side he can't with anyone else, except maybe his mom, and the only mildly....I love how Maggie is intuitive and speaks her mind with him.  this chapter was all about them, all the facets of their relationship!  I wonder who was the woman that called her? I know Sonny will find out....I'm not sure he will quit the coke, though. Maybe he wants to, but don't think he will....there's more trouble ahead with that if he doesn't....Thanks so much for another riveting chapter. I mourn the day that the Storm saga ends....I hope there is a movie or series of movies made about this one day!!  I think it's that good!  Keep on writing, Lexi. You're very good at it!!

wow that was another helluva stunning chapter! how Skip, Edward, can separate being Sonny's father from being his boss is beyond me! I'm sure it plays havoc with him at times too! How difficult must it have been to teach Sonny that lesson? It's almost instinctive in Edward now, now that he's had half a lifetime's experience in being both boss and father...yet, still he has his internal struggles. I think he did Sonny a big favor in stopping him from hitting Maggie!  The guilt from that would have eaten Sonny up once he was through withdrawals....or maybe pushed him into doing more coke and making that change in himself permanent. That choice would have changed the direction of his life.....and who knows? You haven't written yet if that will be permanent or not....I wonder what the repercussions will be from Skip taking Sonny's place in the hit on Heidi?  I haven't even touched on many things that took place here but guess that's because I see this situation as the more significant one here.....You weave such an intricate story, intermingling all the characters in such a way as to make a brilliant, in-color, three-dimentional, realistic story.  I love reading this. I hope your life is going well for you....I do miss updates on your other stories, but easily see how this one may take over you imagination, you life....thank you again for writing this, just for me!

I love that Bella's the mother hen, now.  She has been through similar things with Skip and can also give Maggie the mother-figure she never had...Her senses are up, though, and I wonder what can go wrong out west....All sorts of things, I imagine!  Thank you for another sparkling chapter in this 3 part of your epic tale.  I remember thinking a while back that as much as I loved EP, that this story, this epic and far reaching tale you are spinning, is more, more in scope, more in depth, more grand that that.....Have a wonderful Holiday and I'll see you next time!

That was one monster chapter! There's a lot going on here. I'm happy that Sonny and Maggie are back on track, really glad to see it!  Sometimes Kylie irritates me, what with being so whiny. I forget that she's been pampered and protected all her life. She doesn't get how much danger they could be in at times and just goes off on what she wants to do, like skipping out to Burger King while Bella is sleeping....It's ok. She will learn. She really is young!  I wonder if Bella's radar was spot on and detected danger from Alistair. His calls on his cell were quite suspicious. The Rose and Emmett thing, their being emotionally distant these days, was hard to hear. I guess all couples can't be as close and Bella and The Skip are....

So they're grooming Sonny to take over....giving him the reins for the weekend sit down....I can't see Skip ever truly backing off completely but I hope you don't kill him off at the end of this. I hoped they would...let's hope the sit down goes smoothly...like anything hardly ever does!  So good to read a new chapter. I look forward to the resuming of Tribute..

Imagine my surprise when I opened my inbox this evening to find a new chapter for this story, one that I have been pining over for months now.  I understand that as a writer you have to go where the Muse takes you, but I had almost given up on this one. I see you've found a direction in which to take this sexy little story and couldn't be happier. I get wet listening to Mase's phone sex with Bella, I can just imagine what it does to her.  I sincerely hope you continue to write new chapters for this story, daresay I that maybe you'll finish it one day? This reader can only hope....

oh nice!!  the bit with Edward and Emmett was a dream!  very clever!  Rose and Bella are always hot together, aren't they?  Loved it!

15 years is not bad. He could have gotten less....this Bella is quite weird!  Edward, the hero?  Not so much, I think.  Is he going to fuck Tanya? what a real and moving chapter! i love that he opened up and told her everything. those moments of real intimacy are what makes life and love all worth the rest. it makes me feel. it moves me, this story. carlisle is an ass. a lonely, drunken, broken man. esme will suffer again by him, i bet. people like kate, who judge a book by it's cover, make me want to scream and hit something, someone. bella and edward get each other. that's what is important here. i really love this story. thanks, lexi.

I'm glad you posted this again on TWCS. I read it on FFN, gave my opinion, then read it again here. The format seems to make for easier reading. I hope you choose to expand this. I will definitely put it on alert and read.

As an aside.....will you finish Have Mercy Baby and Made In The Shades?  I know writers need to be inspired to write and the muse takes you guys where she will, but I love both those stories and just wondered.....

It sounds like he is almost as socially awkward as she is.  They make a good match, then.... he is confused....wanted to hook up but sort of glad they didn't....Jacob is still an ass, as always!  I'm very happy you're updating this so often. It attracts me, I like it!

he's a sad little boy....trapped inside a man.  she's the hero and she will save him, and in saving him, she will save herself....

oh wow....so he now may have a place with Jacob, maybe will have sex with his maybe girlfriend, Bella, and maybe a beginning again with his dad. That's a lot for a short chapter.  I love his inner workings. He seems to be so insecure on the inside all the while giving the impression of confidence or whatever on the outside.  I like them together. I like that he doesn't play classical music on the date because of her fears...I like that she wants to get him alone after one song...I like that she is smart and observant....great job, Lexi!

you know, I really like this Bella....she's not your usual type Bella, but she's got some endearing qualities that I gravitate towards.....It's good to see them together, E and B.  The ILY popped out of his mouth in the heat of passion....funny it's usually the girl who does that and I love that you had HIM do it this time.

I see that big time! I hate what Emmett said to her, calling her a ho  because of how she dresses and acts. Men send such mixed signals sometimes, a lot of the time! They always look at, go for, a sexy woman, then call them a ho for doing exactly what they do. I hate that shit. Always have!  Was CJ coming on to Bella?? or was he just being nice to her....I love how she can soothe the baby, Bianca, while Alice, her Godmother, makes her cry....very funny!

I'm laughing at Edward right now! He's such a typical first time father!  So cute. It is a scary thing bringing home a small needy crying human when you're so young. I was 20 with my first one and scared to death!  You do the best you can.  Love these last couple of chapters....some lightness after the butchery of the ones before. Such is life, huh?
