You are funny. Being Irish does not mean you get bound with rope and get your arse whipped. Being a submissive means that you have agreed that a Dom can do that to you, if they wish. A woman may like a man in control of the relationship. It does not mean, she wants him to come at her with nipple clamps and dildos. See the difference? Bella chose to be a sub, it was something she actively chose by signing a contract agreeing to all sorts of control and kinky fuckery.
So let me get this straight. Edward, the Dom thinks harsh lessons need to be learnt by the sub but when he messes up its ok to feel a bit guilty and hope the woman who is subservient to him won't mind too much. LMAO

Not all D/s relationship involve what you would typically call BDSM. There is always some form of control, that could be in a mental capasity such as "Keep your arms over your head" or "Don't open your eyes" .. It usually is in a more physical way, by the use of restraints. Either way the sub agrees to it and enjoys it.
When pain comes into play that can also be a wide range from simple hair pulling and spankings to bull whips....also the sub agrees and enjoys it.
Everything else that come into play within the confinds of the relationship is totally done for mutual pleasure and gradification. When he says "come here my little slut" those five words make you wet...(i'm not kidding) four words that make you even wetter ..."get on your knees" ... the three words are .."Now, service me" ,,,,two words ... "good girl" ...the single word isn't even a word it's just a grunt and when he looks down at you with a look of pure contentment and lust, you are ready to cum without him even touching you...
That is a D/s lifestyle and your right it is purely carnal but it is also deeply ingrained in your nature. Some people would want to try a D/s relationship for the (kinky) sex, but quickly find that they just don't have the nature to give up control ..so they only take part in the kinky fuckery (thank you Icy for the term) and that's ok. It's all about mutual pleasure, satisfaction and fulfillment.

I did have to laugh a little at the "sex" talk Alice and Bella had. I remember my mother telling me that she was such an innocent, that on her wedding night she fainted. It was the first time she saw my father nude and passed out with the shock. You cannot even imagine that now days can you? :-)

Though he´s taken a Dom role this weekend, Edward is doing nothing that Bella hasn´t consented to. It´s his place to anticipate her needs and she needs and wants him to rule over her with an iron fist. This weekend is more of a test drive, to see if they like the way it rides!! Lol! As far as Charlie´s house goes, 1 out every 3 people have had sex in their parents home, that is so commonplace. What Charlie doesn´t know won´t hurt him. I am so glad you felt like that about the last bit. LOL. Loved this chapter. I cannot remember why Edward, who is pining for Isabella, really hard never went after her? It seems a bit out of character for him not to go after what he wants. Anyway I trust that they will get together sooner or later. The question is will she be willing to be a sub? Not everyone is into butt plugs, nipple claps and canes and who the hell could blame them? :=)

Yeah... Tanya give me hives....lol.. She was everything I wanted, but didn´t deserve. I was a monster. I had a room full of devices that I´m sure she would never understand, much less except. There was a side of me that Isabella could never love. this is why he´s pining from afar....the prologue has yet to be introduced, so they have no idea about the other one´s alternate lifestyles... he does go after what he wants, but you´ve got to remember.. he´s 32 and just realizing he wants more than just the casual.. before he wasn´t looking for committment and he loves her so he wouldn´t risk messing that up...Even the most confident of ppl have there weekness... she´s he kryptonite... only time will reveal... thanks for reading and reviewing....
