Great story! I know it might have been weird for some people, because Edward and Bella were raised as siblings, and in all honesty if it wasn't "Edward and Bella" I might have been a little put-off myself. But this is fanfiction and as long as E&B got their HEA I am happy too!
I think you did a great job of describing their relationship, the bond they shared that wasn't really that of siblings, and the maturity that they exercised in letting their feelings grow, even thought they may have felt a lot of guilt and shame. The story overall was a postitive one and just goes to show that the heart wants what the heart wants and you can't help who you fall in love with.
Renee was really awful to her family and I'm glad she ended up alone - she deserves it for abandoning her family that way.

So i've read the last few chapters on my iPad, which won't let me leave reviews so I came back to my laptop to follow-up because I wanted to let you know how much i am really enjoying this story. It really has so much going on and I can't believe how complicated Bella and Edward's lives are right now.
My husband is a testicular cancer survivor and the story intrigued me from the first chapter because of that. But all that Bella has been through with James and now that she has Nessie and is involved with Jake, well that adds a whole other level of baggage. Edward losing his mom to cancer, obviously having issues with drugs in the past, his surrogate family (the Cullens) and his seemingly rocky relationship with Tanya (I hope she goes away) - just more reason to find out what the hell is going to happen!
I am just getting to the part where Edward gets his test results, so I am still hoping that his cancer hasn't returned, but I have a feeling things aren't looking so good for Eddie boy. Can't stop now, but I will do my best to review from my laptop when I get the chance!

That prescription at the end was awesome! I find myself wanting to read about Bella and Edward and not really caring about her relationship with Jake or his with Tanya! I am so glad he is cancer-free. Been there, done that and I think I was almost as nervous waiting for the next chapter (even though I only had to wait a couple minutes since it was already written!) as I was waiting for my husbands lab results!
Anxious for their next meeting and for more E&B interaction!

Oh hell, I'm just going to read instead of asking all these questions!
p.s. Hopefully Bella will meet Emmett so that she can introduce him to Rose!

The UST is going to kill me! So, Tanya's mom is giving Edward a hard time...how difficult the whole situation is for Edward. Alice seems like she senses something is going on between her cousin and Bella, but I'm curious as to whether she has her 6th sense here? Hope there will be more party coming up!
I don't think I've commented on this yet, but I love your writing and you obviously know your locations because those details make it even better. I don't know Philly, but I trust that what you're giving us is very detail oriented. Loving this, wanting more so on to the next chapter!

I think Bella has realized that what she feels for Jake is more like deep friendship, gratitude and maybe a little guilt. I don't doubt she loves him, but I don't think she's "in love" with him. He's always been there for her and Nessie and she owes him. Or she feels like she owes him. She was fine going along this path until she met Edward and realized that she could feel so much more from a man. I hate to say it, but I don't think what she's doing is wrong. I think you have to follow your heart sometimes, and this might be one of them.

I guess I don't really care if he is being unprofessional because I think he's probably going to go above and beyond for Bella and Nessie no matter what. I so want these two together so much that I don't care about ethics - medical, legal or moral - at this point!
I know Edward thinks he can't have normal and I don't think he can with Tanya. I'm glad he broke it off and I wish she would go away. I don't think he should have given her is apartment or any of the things that were his. She has a job, a career and a family and she can take care of herself.
Jake means well, but when is Bella going to realize that she's not in love with him?
There really isn't a chance that she could be pregnant, is there? I've been secretly hoping that Edward may still be able to father a child and that he and Bella will eventually have one together, invitro or otherwise.
I love this story so much, and as I've said before I hope you're writing fast because I'm catching up!

So, I am following this story on FF too, but decided to review here so that you get more! I can't tell you again, or enough, how much I just want Edward and Bella together so I don't care how it happens. I wonder if Jake contributes to things or does Bella essentially support him? I mean, I assume it's Bella's house, right? I know he takes care of Ness and works at a garage, but I almost feel like he's either the hired help or a kept man.
I want to know what Bella meant when she said she wasn't good? It sounds like she was just a naive girl who got swept off her feel by an older man who she really didn't know very well. Getting pregnant doesn't seem like an accident...I bet James did something to her diaphram!
I love the pink iPod, the Smiths, grilled shrimp and veggies and the fact that Bella is currently wrapped up in Edward's arms in her den! I want more!

OH God, poor Edward. They were so close and Bella was really going to do it this time! He really is so fucked up! I don't believe he's as crazy as he thinks he is, but some therapy and Bella's unconditional love might help. He never gives her a chance to finish what she's saying - I wish he would just listen to her for once!
I do think Edward crossed the line as her attorney and I know for a fact he could be disbarred for his behavior - especially if Victoria or James or their spy has photos or witesses to their behavior. I would hate to see that happen!

Tanya is the ultimate bitch on wheels and the fact that she's trying to sabotage everything in Edward's life proves that she is a bitter harpy. I really hope that nothing happens to Nessie and Bella because of Tanya. Edward should have never given her the condo, she doesn't deserve it.
Edward should go work with Bella's lawyer or start is own firm. He's now has the recognition and the experience to do it. I bet Lauren would come work for him too!
How dare James file for joint custody! The nerve of him. If I were Bella I would have offered him a deal - drop the joint custody suit, agree never to see Nessie again, and in return she would drop the back child support suit. If she could only get James to agree to relinquish his parental rights, everything would be so much easier!

OH MY GOD! I totally had a feeling that Jake was dead! I wonder why neither Bella nor Edward thought to mention the situation with James and Victoria to the police? I mean they probably figured out that Felix has been sitting out there watching the house, right? SO was that James' wife who's been scoping out the house? I wonder if she was trying to talk to Bella about James? Maybe he's been doing the same thing to her that he did to Bella? Wow, I really do feel bad that Jake is dead....it wasn't what I wanted for him. I thought maybe he was with Leah and they found out that they were soul mates and were having great sex all week.
I feel awful for Bella, and for Edward, but especially for Nessie. She has been through so much and doesn't deserve this kind of heartbreak at such a young age. Thank God Edward was there to help her through. He's been there and knows what to say. It helped her, I know it.
I wonder how they're going to explain this whole thing to Charlie? Despite how sad this chapter was I totally laughed out loud at what Nessie said when Edward came through the front door!

Oh my God...I am bawling right now! Gah, how the hell did this get so screwed up? And why aren't the police doing more and investigating James more and what's going on with the medical board?! I feel like Tanya started this whole thing. I know Bella and Edward were stupid and careless, but my heart is breaking for Edward right now. It took him so long to get to this point, and now he's had it all taken away and he doesn't even have his job anymore.
Poor little Bell, my daughter has night terrors and I know how traumatic it is. I wish there was something that would make this all better. I know Bella isn't projecting the ideal mother right now, but when they compare her to James in court (with his history of abuse and his treatment of her during their marriage and pregnancy) she is still by far the better parent.

Oh my gosh, I don't know what to say. Top 10 of my all time favorites! Beautiful story that has made me look at my two little girls in a completely different way, and appreciate the wonderful husband who comes home to us every night.
I was late to the party here, but it was so much fun catching up when I had the whole story waiting for me to read! You don't even know what a priviledge it was to be able to read it all the way through without stopping and having to wait weeks or months for updates.
Little Bell - one of the best kid characters ever! Loved everything about this story except that it ended. Sad, will have to get used to it not being there for me. You are really an amazing writer and a great storyteller. Please come back and write more!

So, I just have to say that I think you have all of the plot points layed out here, but I feel like we're missing some critical details and things have moved a bit too fast to make it believeable. Bella jumps right into "love" with Edward after one dinner conversation? Where is the talk about the last 13 years? Where is the discussion of the hurt feelings when he lost contact with her? Where is the question that you would probably ask - whether or not you're married or currently dating someone?
I get that they never resolved a lot of their feelings and they are probably soul mates, but I would have liked to see more discussion of how they each tried to date other people, or had relationships that didn't work out because they realized that it wasn't as perfect as their first love...etc. I would have also liked to see some more thought put into the intimate scene in Bella's bedroom. The last time they were together was when they were 15! A lot has changed for both of them - where are her comments about how much of a man Edward has become? Or his thoughts on how her body had truly turned into a woman's not a girl's?
Please don't be upset by this, because I really want to see this story succeed, but I also think it would be so much better if you varied your sentenc structure more and really tried to combine and simplfy things that are redundant. Case in point - the scene in the last chapter when everyone is greeting each other at Esme's front door. You might have been able to convey your point with fewer words, but by using them in a different way. The same could be said for the sex scene - it was a little clinical and mechanical (..."first he did this, then he did that, the he did something else"). I think you might want to consider getting a better to help you out a little. It's hard to catch it all yourself and i think it would make it easier on you if you had someone to pre-read and catch things that might make it all flow so much better.
Again, I am not trying to be anything other than constructive here so please don't be mad. I will keep reading (this is ony chapter 5 so maybe these comments are unwarranted) and letting you know my thoughts. Of course you can totally ignore me and I'll read anyway - that's fine too. ;-)

First of all, I never mind suggestions, help, or opinions, good or bad, on anythingI have written. As for a few of your suggestions, Bella didn't just fall in love with Edward, she's always been in love with Edward, and he her. The whole point of this story, was that they never gave up hope of one day finding each other again. Unbelievable perhaps, but that's one of those great things about stories, they don't have to be 100% believable.
I agree with your point on sentence structure, using my words better, and I think that is something that I did much better on as the story conitues. As for the sex scenes, I think they too get better. This story is already complete so there isn't really anything I can do about content but I will try to catch the mistakes and fix them before I put up the next chapter. Anyway, please keep the reviews coming because I really do value your opinion and any pointers, suggestions, and tips that will make me a better writer on future stories.

OK, I think you guys are on to something good here as far as the plot and storyline go. But I have to be honest and say that your grammar is horrible. I can put up with a lot when it comes to fanfiction because I know that authors put so much time and effort into their stories. You do it because you love it, and you willingly share it with us because you're generous. I just want this to be as good as it can be.
Use spell-check, it will help. If you write in MS Word, your syntax errors should be highlighted and that should help you fix some of the major issues. Word usage is is a bit harder to correct because spell-check won't catch a lot of those problems.
There is no "s" on the end of ANYWAY. When you say "I seen her" instead of "I saw her" it makes me cringe because that is just bad grammar. It's hard to believe Edward is a well-educated laywer when he speaks like this. A few well-placed commas can do wonders for a run-on sentence, or for a sentence that begins with a conjuntion.
I am not trying to be overly picky here, I just want to point out some constructive criticicsms that could help make your writing that much better. I know there are two of you writing this, and I assume that you are proof reading each other's chapters? You might also want to enlist the help of a Beta reader to catch some of the more obvious mistakes. I think this story could be so much better with just a little bit of effort. I hope you know I mean this to be helpful, not to be mean or rude. I really do look forward to reading more because I think your plot is interesting and has so many interesting possibilities. I just want to see you writing to your full potential.

We understand that we cant make everyone happy. But we started this story out for fun and along the way more people became interested. So our beta is now taking time to go back to the original chapters that were posted. Not sure where she began to Beta but we definitely wouldnt be where we are with out them. Wow, hot! I can't wait to see how this plays out. Sounds like Edward is married to Angela, right? But she has Ben on the side, so obviously not a happy marriage - which is good for Bella. Bella and Eric are not meant to be, so this would be a perfect scenario if we can get Eric to find someone too.

Yeah! She's alive and he's back! You're right, that wasn't dragged out too long. So happy that they finally got to tell each other how they feel. However, doesn't sound like there will be any wild sex in their immediate future - that femoral artery is in a bad locale!
I kind of think Charlie was out of line with Edward...it wasn't really his fault and he was only respecting Bella's wishes by not telling him about the stalker. You would think between all of them that she would have been safe, but psychotic teenagers are hard to thwart when they really want something!

So, Bella is definitely not over their one night stand, but I get the impressiont that Edward is really clueless about what happened and how he treated her. He probalby thought they could sleep together and still be friends after that, but he obviously doesn't understand how women think. It must have been really tough for Bella to listen to all those girls tell her about their romantic and passionate nights with Edward and then cry to her about him. Did Edward have deeper feelings for Bella at the time?
So, he did try to tell her about Lilly, I'll give him that, but he could have tried harder. It's going to come back to bite him in the ass when she finds out!

But what happens when she takes down his number incorrectly?
Bella and Edward had an unusual meeting just over a year ago. When Bella took down a friend's phone number, incorrectly, she proceeded to text Edward instead, forming a fast friendship with him and eventually falling in love. A year later and once again their relationship is via text and email as Edward is gaining some valid work experience while helping those less fortunate, in third world countries. Edward has big plans for his return and Bella has a secret which may throw a spanner in the works.

So why is Jasper so overprotective of Bella? That isn't normal...why would he not let her grow up or mature. Has she ever dated? Would he let her? Where are their parents? What is the age difference between Bella and Jasper and Edward? Sorry, I know there are a lot of questions but I am dying to know more details!

James should be... well, I personally would like him to have a meet and greet with Bella from Say Goodbye. THAT would be a hoot. As for THIS Isabella, her fate, and Edward's part in it are just a chapter away. Which you may or may not have read by now?
I know there are a lot of questions, but they'll all be answered in time, I promise. As for their ages, which I hinted at, but perhaps didn't come right out and say... Isabella is 22. Jasper and Edward are both 30.
