Oh I really like this. I think it was a big step for Bella to see Alice & Emmett again. I like how Edward responded to Emmett. Wary at first but understood why he was protective and gave him a second chance. I agree that Ryan sounds like goob. Seth is hilarious. I can't wait for them to talk to Charlie. That should be good. I hope he is a good dad and not just some louse who abandoned his daughter. I'm am wary about them going to see her mom without someone else with them. I have a feeling Alec is around. I really liked this chapter. It shows more of who they are plus Alice is very right. Bella did meet the perfect guy. He just needs to see that. I like how you wrote Alice. She sounds like a real person unlike how some people write her. Btw I still want Alec to die a very horribly painful, slow death. Like maybe slowly getting lowered into a pool of piranhas. Oh man this was a tearjerker. And not just for the part at her mothers grave. Edward thinking he isn't good enough when he is the best man out there. He loves & cares for Bella more than her own life and they are perfect for each other. As for Charlie I will reserve judgement on him until we meet him. Although I still think he is an ass. I like the realism you put into this story. You show the ugly part of life on the street. I think however that it is much uglier than what you portray. Please keep up the wonderfully amazing work. Personally I think this would make a better movie than Twilight.

My insides felt as if they had been ripped out and run through a blender. I couldn’t even comprehend what had happened. I kept thinking I would wake up and it would have all been a bad dream, but I wasn’t that lucky. None of us were that lucky.
Jasper was able to make it to the hospital mere seconds after us. I had texted him with Alice’s phone after she spoke to Mr. and Mrs. Cullen. I knew she was going to need a bit more comfort than I could provide, and if anyone could come through, it would be Jasper.
He grabbed Alice and held her tightly, allowing her to put her full weight against him. Suddenly, I found myself extremely envious of the solace Alice found in the man she loved.

Edward pulled back and wiped away my tears with his thumbs, kissing the trails left on my cheeks. He then kissed my chin and then my nose and finally landed on my lips with a searing, needy kiss.
We lay on his bed for several hours, just cuddling in silence. Every so often, Edward would trail his fingers across my stomach and sigh softly, and kiss my head. It was nice and comforting, and helped to settle my nerves. A little. Okay, not really. But it was nice.
