I think I have just fallen in love with Edward. He has just proved that he can keep his word to Bella and that he will do anything to keep her safe, although I understand why she can't fully forgive him just yet.

What Edward is doing isn't really much different to what James and Charlie did, as she is still kind of doing it for fear or being punished. He is just not as agressive.
