I really love the DitR and I know I am so late to the fic -- but I've been trying to power through the story as quickly as I can so I am up-to-date. I've read a few D/s  fics over the last couple of years but I have to say you offer up quite a bit of detail and understanding (so thanks! *w/cheesy grin). But I have a couple of questions... B and E are in a part-time D/s relationship and he has control of her anything pertaining to her body, safety and overall well-being. And yes, play time is play time and respect must be shown and given but is B allowed to just have a bad day --- attitude and all. For example, when B and Leah get into it why is it necessary for E to reprimand B for her response when he gets an attitude with his family members? It's two sisters fighting and honestly you never want to get in the middle of that. :). Wouldn't B be entitled to this since they're not in play? Also, does B have say in the decisions even they're not in play? And are they allowed any regular ole vanilla B/F time without in it turning into an oppty for E to tease and B? I am sure you have probably answered these questions before so sorry if I am repeating --- but girl you've got over 2500 reviews and its hard looking for those answers! So any insight to for this late comer would be awesome. Ok, I'm off to read the rest of the fic....thanks! 

This insight into Alice only reaffirms that she really is a self-righteous, self-centered snobby little bitch. It amazes me how she plays victim and blames both Bella and Edward for her crappy attitude. I really hope that "Jazzy" can see the forest for the trees with her and not haul off and attack Edward for supposedly being unkind to his wife. Jazz strikes me as a great guy and husband who will rightly defend his wife's honor but even he has to be able to see that his wife is a snobbish condescending witch who lacks any accountability or even the class she claims she has because of her Cullen name. While I hate to see any Alice written like this but I think I can see your point about who she was in the series. 

I really hope that Bella shows Alice what kind of woman she really is and puts Alice in her place. This "turn the other cheek and I am only trying to be understanding attitude" of Bella's will get old fast. And unfortunately, people like Alice can see never see what they do to others and only what is done to them. I think this will be the only way to get her to shut the hell up and see what she is doing to the family. 

Ok I am stepping off the old soapbox now ... Thanks for the insight. It is really is coo-coo in Alice in Wonderland's self absorbed head - kinda sticky and gross in there too. :))

You know for being so business savvy - Edward is a moron when it comes to matters of the heart. But I'm guessing that's point of this story to see if he can find his heart #shrugs. But I was still beyond pissed at him for having sex with Bella and then sending her on her merry way. I'm sure he's treated with his other skanks and one-night stands with more respect than that. I am hoping he can wedge his head out of his ass in time enough to see Jane for who she is and truly understand what he did to Bella. Because looking at it from Bella's point of view I would just simply think he played me to get what he wants -- sex and control of her interests in the company. Here's hoping Bella comes back swinging humbling Edward and keeping Jane out.  It seems Edward and all his know it all arrogance isn't really capable of protecting Bella from all the big bad out there - himself included. 

On a brighter note, I tend to reserve my comments til after the angst is over so ...

that's a testament to how much this fic has stirred me up. Looking forward to the next chap. Thanks!!! 

Just started reading today... And I'm confused by how Bella and Edward could let their spoiled teenage daughter do whatever the hell she wants. They (well Bella mostly) let her get away with her crappy spoiled self entitled attitude, she has no accountability and no responsibility for her actions at all. I get that she's 18 but she's still in high school living under their house, and she obviously doesn't do any chores, is disrespectful and ungrateful to her parents and plain outright evil to her younger brother. Her parents who although are imperfect have a loving home. If she was really all grown then her spoiled self entitled butt should get a job and start pulling her own weight in the house. Or she just needs to be put out to live with the grandparents until graduation and then out her out on her own. See what its really like to live on your own and be an adult. Honestly, I am also really tired of Bella always standing in the way of her not being responsible actions. She lets get away with everything. Just yelling at her one moment and then not holding to punishment is ridiculous - just because you don't want her to hate you. You're the parent you're not a friend. Our kids are not going to always like us but honestly they're not suppose to but they should respect us. Trust me I know. I think it's important to teach consequences, accountability and responsibility and hope to hell they make the best decisions when they have to.  How is letting a spoiled brat go out into the world doing anyone any favors least of all Tanya.  I really hope that both B&E realize how much damage they're doing to Tanya - she's selfish, mean and extremely spoiled for someone who comes from a "poor family" as she puts it. Regardless of whatever underlying issues Tanya may have - her parents are doing her no favors by letting her do whatever she wants cause she'll do it anyways. I'm actually shocked by that statement. Parenting is the hardest job anyone can have and just cause you don't want another argument from a disruptive child is not a reason to let her run rampant. 

I really can't believe Alice's behavior. I mean she's been showing her true colors for some time now. What I am confused by is Edward's ignorance to it all?? And why Esme her own mama can see it and washed her hands of it all but Edward continually tries to coddle her. Hell even Garret gets it! I really hope Alice gets what she's got coming to her - karma and all that at least 10xs over. I am proud of Bella of handling herself. But Edward (smh) unless he gets his head out of ass he's going to lose Bella. And it would be his own damn fault. And let's be honest here...Alice is only part of the issue albeit a big part. He demands respect from Bella but doesn't offer her the same. What surprises me though... is that even though he's older and supposedly more experienced his emotional relationship experience is that of teenage boy. I am B&E shipper all the way but maybe he needs to lose her (temporarily of course ;)) to truly understand what he's got. 

Ok..... I'm probably going to sound like some of the reviewers but here goes...It's good to see that they are working with a counselor because they need it. Edward gave a half-assed apology. He keeps going on and on about being there for his family and again... I don't recall Bella ever asking him to choose otherwise - so he should probably just let that explanation go. It troubles me that Edward just seems to be ok with casting her aside for the sake of his sister's kid. A kid who, grant it, has mental problems, but also been evil, manipulative, and criminally liable for money thats not hers and criminally negligent to her own kid.

And Bella... I still give her credit for her maturity but her willingness to just accept everything and even try to take the blame for acting like a spoiled brat doesn't sit well with me. She seems to completely overlook the fact that he's gone through her email to "check on Alice's story" while of course checking on Bella too. Yea, definitely not ok. That's not to say Bella should rage but it doesn't seem like she's even standing up for herself. Edward shows up, gives a half assed apology, then proposes to make it better, and now she's ready to have a baby. I just don't know...

Still love the fic... Keep it going ladies just disappointed in Edward (honestly don't see that changing) but still very hopeful that Bella will put her foot down and not be a doormat. 

Wow! Very disappointed in this Charlie. I know Bella is his little girl but he took it to a whole new level or in his case "a new low". My dad is very old school... You know where women and men have their roles and he was difficult when I was a teenager - well difficult from a teenage girls perspective. But when I became an adult my choices were my choices. He may not have always agreed with all of them and he never held back in telling me but never did he have an epic meltdown like this Charlie did. And never has he left nasty parting shots like Charlie. The thing is ... Bella came to them and she didn't have to - she is an adult. And she doesn't need their approval although its nice to have she just needed to know that her parents support her kind of like how parents of adult children should. AND if anything were to go wrong her parents should just be there - not screaming I told you so. First Alice's funky behavior and now her dad .... Yea I'm questioning Bella's support system. I didn't think everyone would be cheering and its ok to be painfully honest but geez ...being nasty and vicious because someone isn't doing what you think they should do is just ridiculous. 

Love the chap - looking forward to what's next. 

Wow what an ass... The fact that he would actually side with that skank whore Angela and somehow blame her defending herself when she was attacked. Yea... not liking at all. My recommendation for Bella is give him exactly what he wants to leave him be and then some. He'll miss some Snarkella as soon as he extracts his head from his ass -- although considering how deep its wedged in it might be quite painful.
