I loved the chapter. I didn't like how pushy Alice was with Bella's birthday, but you know - she is Alice. As someone who has never had the pleasure of being pregnant - is it really hard to tell when you are in labor? Makes me nervous for the experience.
I was also really appreciative of Edward's awareness in the chapter. He always seemed to know when Bella was upset or feeling down and he did his best to try and change those feelings. As someone who has always seen Edward as the weak link in the relationship in this story (sorry - I still love him and the story) it was nice to see.
And you somehow made the crazy uncles that no one could stand part of this family - oh the magic you weave.
I have to tell you that everytime there is an update I am agraid that the completed box is finally going to say YES. I really don't want it to end. You have done an amazing job and have amazing talent. Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you for writing this story that has kept me entertained for many months.

Great chapter. I don't agree with how edward handled the punishment because he is all about communication and then he is the one that refused to communicate. I would really like to see Bella take more of a smart and reasonable stand on this, find some of her self esteem and take back some of the power she is giving edward. I understand the Alice and Jasper outlook on things, but not e&B. Keep up the amazing work.

Thank you for this chapter. I think having Bella grow a backbone was the right thing to do. However, I am thinking the party is a mistake. I think that maybe they should go to the party, but really, they aren't strong enough for it yet so she needs to assert her backbone even more and safeword herself out of a situation at the party. I have a bad feeling about the party so I am hoping she will be confident enough to stop things. She pushes herself and E pushes her way too far at times and I think both of them are still too raw to take it too far at this party. Wow, I guess this stiry has really gotten to me that yes, I am dreading your next update. Thanks again.

plu - Great update. this was a very up and down chapter. I liked it though. You have made B so complex and each breakthrough and step forward she takes she looses a bit of confidence and takes a half step back. I know with everything you have put these characters through already you may be thinking about ending this story but I beg you not to. I would like to see some fan interaction, maybe a little stalking if B or E. Dare I say public discovery or pap photos that highlight some of thier private activity. Since the award show circuit is starting, they will be higher profile than in the past.

This was a great chapter full of amazing dialogue and situations. My confusion is this - I understand why Bella is mad at herself for screwing up and why she feels E should be disappointed in her. I don't understand Edwards response - why isn't he disappointed too? The whole I I I monologue that B had I agree with and I don't quite beleive E's reaction to it. This was supposed to be a special and romantic weekend and she did ruin it because she had to be punished. I love this story, but this reaction did kind of throw me off. it's almost as if E isn't being honest with her. As always, I will be anxiously awaiting your future updates.

Hmmm - you really keep me on the straight and narrow, don't you?? I went back and re read what I wrote, and I think that I screwed up in his answer. Firstly, Edward isn't disapointed in Bella 'ruining' the weekend, because he doesn't think she did. She says that she is keeping him from having fun at being a Dom because all he does is meter out punishment, and Bella knows that E isn't a SADIST - but then he says - OR HE SHOULD SAY - that he whenever he is a Dom with her is enjoyable even if the activity isn't fun.
SECOND - AND THIS IS BETWEEN YOU AND ME - the weekend isn't a total bust (next chapter!!). our little secret okay?

I really liked the chapter. The emotions and the growth that B showed were incredible and even as a reader I needed you to pioint this growth out to me.
Carlisle and Emse's story was a bit too much for me, but I will survive.
While I don't want to let these characters go, I am often disappointed in sequels because they usually tear the couple apart in a way that makes me sad. And I just don't know if I want to read about that happening to this couple after all they have been through all ready. HOwever, I promise to read your next story, no matter what it is.

Thank you so much for your honest opinion and comments. There is a lot to consider in thinking of a sequel - I love these characters and i don't want to send them into endless spirals of drama just for the sake of a chapter or story. If I write it, they must keep moving forward, although there are going to growth points (like Bella's painting being sold) that will cause upset.
Okay, so I'm posting an outtake this week, but it's C & E, so don't read it if you don't like them in the BDSM scene. i will be writing another one, that one of the readers suggested and that will be how Edward organised everything to get to his proposal. That will be up next week sometime. The outtakes are nowhere near as long!

I loved this chapter. The fight, really they have to fight for it to be a real relationship. Bella's insecurities about money - I think this has to come up again. IT is a problem. She doesn't know how to tip or how much the dresses alice gives her cost. she needs to. I don't think you should let this go so quickly - it is a good storyline that reminds the readers that B really came from nothing - like the beginning of the story. I loved the ending with the bike too. You are a great, amazing writer. As always, I will be with you for hte next chapter. Thank you for sharing your imagination and talent.

I agree it is important and sometimes it's easy to get swept away in the flow and lets face it, Edward and his family don't exactly have to count the pennies - the don't have a "change jar" in the kitchen (Like I do) that I fill up in the month only to empty it for bread!! Wow, what an amazing chapter. Firsdt the art show. She really seemed to do ok with the mingling at the NY show. I was impressed. So overall, I am curious what the outcome of her first series of the shows - does she have the additional pieces to sell.
Renee - wow you wrote her spectacularily (is that a word?). She was so slimy. I am worried her words will linger in Bella when she tries to paint so I would like to see Bella work through her issues there. I also am very curious as to what Phil wrote and whether or not Renee will make an appearance again in the public eye. You know those people who are celebraties for who they know end up on reality television somewhere - maybe Dr. Drew can try to help her.
I am glad that Bella got some time with Charlie and it was nice the see him make Bella his number one priority.
Edwards love throughout the whole chapter was great. And I do hate to say this, but I would like to see Edward have to deal with Bella being sick or something, like really sick, not her stress sickness - he always seems to be pushing her to me and it makes me wonder if he can take care of her through a longer term illness. He loves her in small doses and takes care of things in short term, but could he do it if she was in an accident or sick with a flu for a week. I know B could take care of E, but E - who knows. Maybe I just like to see him worried and flustered. See in this chapter - he was loving and protective, but then he just lost it and left B when she really needed him and was making it about himself. So can E really take care of B if she needs it for a lengthy period of time?
This brings me to Jasper. I loved how tender he was with Alice and how frightened he was when dealing with her pregnancy. Both J and A need to figure out how to work things out with thier playtime though.
You are amazing. AMAZING!

Fi - I liked this chapter and E's reactions. you did a great job continuing his personal jackassedness.
This is what I was talking about previously where I wonder if he could really step up and take care of B for an extended period of time if the tables were turned. He alwasys seems to short circuit a bit and lose it and ends up hurting B or ignoring her needs in favor of himself.
While B was having her own insecurities, she still stepped up and hung in there. And really E was always so concerned about her weight and he still let her get in that shape - kind of pissed me off after everything he has done regarding the whole weight issue.

Another amazing chapter. I do have to say I get the feeling you are going to end this soon and that makes me sad. Wow to the last playroom, Edward kept his promise. I completely understand Bella's reaction to the Renee situation and I am proud of her for it. I wasn't happy that E was so quick to think she was running from the situation because I don't see it as that. She needed time, beyond the run and sex, to reflect again before he accused her of retreating, I mean give her some time and self relect on how he would react to something like that.
As far as your cliffie, I know there is one ghost yet to be slain, but that was a weird conversation w ali.

Michele - I totally love you andt this story. Amazing chapter and yes, amazingly long.
First, during the 20 questions in the den. I actually got angry, like really angry. E basically threw the scenario in B's face about how he wouldn't leave her, blah, blah, blah. But in reality that is exactly what he did after thier wedding. Yes, she forgave him and thier world went to shit, but did they actually work all that out? I don't think so. He couldn't deal with his own emotions and rather than talk it out with her, he ran. So even if it is deep in her subconscious because she forgave him for that episode, that doubt probably still lives there. I wish she would have thrown that into thier discussion so they could truly move past it. In my opinion that is partly why she found it so difficult to open up to him with her confused feelings because there was this doubt in the back of her mind from that incident - he ran, he left.
I am fine with her being pregnant, I do want her to safeword again - I don't know why, but I think it would make me feel better like she is more in touch with herself than E is even if its just in an instant.
I really don't want this story to end. Please consider wriitng it forever. Thank you (I am giving you my best doe eye impression now).

Hey Vic - You know you are right. I never thought of that and I think that Edward and Bella need to deal with that. Their play time will take on a different tune now, they are both growing and maturing and Bella has a lot more confidence in her own abilities and Edward's.

Michele - great chapter as always. Loved the visit to Forks. Loved the lemons and playtime. The plan, well I can be ok with that too. I like that Edward is being careful with Bella, but at the same time, I would like to see her be more aware of herself, her body and her limits. He treated her really well, and I know she is a horny little minx, but I would like to see her safeword for something as the pregnancy progresses. Not to put her in danger or anything but because Edward trusts her to safeword if anything is wrong and I just think it is time for her to do this in this story. As her body is changing, her limits will be changing, even from moment to moment.

L - This chapter was amazong. Since the beginning I have totally felt that trips to the club were awkward and I didn't like it when you tooke the sotry there. This chapter really showed how much the relationship has grown so they could enjoy the purpose of the club which is to be open and honest with the lifestyle they have chosen.
Interesting twist with Dougie and Tanya being play partners. Also, I was glad that really for once, Isabella wasn't punished or questioned for something that wasn't her fault and that was totally Dougie's doing.
I am really interested to see Edwards reaction to the shaving. I hope he doesn't punish her for it, rather celebrates that fact that it is another ghost from her past that she was able to slay.

Yes, I can see Leah's side now. I am still not necesarily liking the modified thing that E&B are doing. I think she needs the support from her boyfriend and not her master. But it isn't too much yet. in all the craziness of the family, small house, a dog, squeaky bed, lack of privacy, I really don't think they need to take the chance of anyone overhearing and making things worse for B with the people who care for her.

Regarding the parents, so Esme was good, but what about Carlisle, he seemed upset as well. I can imagine all the feelings that B went through and you wrote that really well.
The goals, I don't know I can think of mundane things like learn a new recipe, or babysit a swim party for 15 five year olds or send thank you notes to my family whom I just visited. You I'm sure will come up with really great things.
I do like how in love this couple is. However, is E still trying to hard to protect B by not telling her everything? Is that what I should get from this?

The details about the center and spousal abuse are very good too. I am interested if you will ever to a comparison of the power that abuser takes from the victim vs. the power of a dom. That is the struggle I can see Edward dealing with in this or the next chapter.

Picking up the first box I actually grunted because it was heavier than I thought it would be. After putting it on the table I turned around to see Bella carrying another one of the boxes.
“Isabella what are you doing?” I asked her while taking the box from her hand then realized the one she had was heavier then the first.
“I was carri…” I cut her off before she could finish
“I thought you had a fifteen pound weight limit”
“I do…” I stared at her in bewilderment

Leaving out a long sigh I focused really hard on opening the twist tie that held the bread wrapper closed. Edward moved with me and as he passed by to get the wine out of the cooler his hand ran down the length of my arm. The extra sensation from his touch made my muscles clench tighter and I think I let out a whimper because Rose glanced at me with a smirked.

I needed something else to occupy my mind and it didn’t matter what it was “Jasper” I looked up from the two loaves of bread “could you turn on some music?”

Great chapter. The pate was interesting. He challenges her and I am not sure I like how much and he pushes her comfort level quite a bit. Their relationship is very intense so I am curious where you plan on taking it.
Like the night she was distracted and jumpy because he moved the table. I believe that triggered something in her, she just wasn't sure what it was at the time. Will it be a problem in the future?

I should have expected that she would have a nightmare, the trauma of having our home invaded was enough to unnerve me, I can only guess what memories it stirred in her. Removing my shirt that was full of tears and dirty from her nose I laid back down with her head on my chest. “We’ll change the locks tomorrow and figure out who it was, that will make you feel safer. It was just a dream Bella, I swear I would die before I let anyone hurt you.”
“Don’t say that!”
I wasn’t sure what she was talking about when she abruptly shot her head up to look at me. “I couldn’t stand it if something happened to you. I couldn’t take it”
Even in the darkness of the room I could see the fierceness in Bella’s eyes as the tears fell down her face. “Nothing is going to happen to me, and nothing is going to happen to you. Now stop with the tears and lets go back to sleep”
Cupping her face my thumb wiped away the tears as she nuzzled her cheek against my palm before turning her head to placing a soft kiss in the center of my hand. “Do you think I’m crazy?”

Walking into the house all the cares that had been forgotten came crashing back as he told me that the locksmith would be there in about a half-hour. I used that time to tell him what I had learned about Heather.
“Do you think that could have been her on the video?” He asked me as we sat outback playing fetch with Seth and a tennis ball.
“It could have been. But how would she know where you lived. I mean really Edward if she knew where I was why go to the center?” He thought about that for a few seconds as he once again threw the ball into the grass.

Edward was pulling into the parking lot that was across the street from the main entrance. He didn’t say anything else until he held my door open for me taking my hand and pulling me closer to him. “I am sorry about my behavior”
I smiled at him “You girl forgives you”
His face moved closer to mine as he spoke “My girl is more tolerant then I deserve”
“Never” as I said the word his lips brushed against mine, it was a sweet chaste kiss. When he pulled back his eyes held a tenderness in them as he palmed the side of my face.

One last thing on this amazing chapter - will/could the leash in Bella's sleep cause her to have flashbacks to her rape? At times sounds have affected her. I know she sleeps tethered to the bed, but that is different because she does have some movement. The collar and leash are a bit more confining. Once again, amazing chapter. You can write this story forever. Actually, I know it is a day to day account and I love that, but it is summer now in the story. I will be curious as to what happens in the fall when E has to teach again. How will that affect thier relationship? So, in other words please keep writing for as long as you can since I love your story.

“MMMmmmmnnnn” I think my eyes rolled to the back of my head. When I opened my eyes Edward was looking at me licking his bottom lip. “What?”
He kind of shook his head as if trying to come out of a daze before taking a drink of coffee. “Last night was good?”

Excusing myself I went into the kitchen to check in dinner, everything was done so after pulling the chicken out of the oven - to allow it to rest - I started putting the other stuff into serving bowls. The sound of the kitchen door swinging open made me turn to see who was there, and I smiled as Aro joined me.
“Isabella I don’t wish to disturb you, but may I speak with you for a minute?”
Not wanting to be rude I stopped what I was doing. “Yes Sir, do you need something?”
“No..no, please continue, I can talk while you work.” I asked him to give me a second while I took the Corn Pie out of the oven because I didn’t want him talking to my back. Once it was out I gave him my attention.
Eyeing the pie I had just removed he smiled at me warmly “It’s nice to see you so carefree around everyone. You seem much more confident and I must admit it does me good to see that. You are young and need to laugh more.”

Although here are several who would like to see it...lol...Bella is in no way ready for that and Charlie would be ...I can't even imagine what his reaction whould be. He is going to have enough of a problem with the tattoo...lol.....When was Jane around Alice? I think the only mention was when Alice said about coming to dinner at B&E's and Alice said about Jane's talk and that she calls Aro Master....did she say that happened in person? or did she say that she just doesn't like it ...((you know like it is common knowledge that Jane behaves that way ))...Because even in Bella's room, Jane talked in 1st person because she thought it would make Bella more comfortable I can't imagine that she wouldn't do that in front of Alice...or Esme....(just a thought)
I'm trying to tell this story as true to life as posssible. I know that I take some liberites and I did rush their relationship (( but that was due to time restraints and my day-by-day intent to tell my story))...Ok, I wouldn't say that it was a wasted chapter. There was more information about Aro and Bella's relationship then might have been needed, but thrown into the conversation was some tid-bits of information that was important. Such as people were mad that Edward didn't do something to Jess...well he doesn't have the power to do that. However Aro does and I think he will and I also think that Jess is not going to be happy about that...also Aro is taking care of the Mike situation. (why?) he said he didn't care about Jess but does he really? Jess is signing in under his name and then he has a few weeks where it was clear that someone erased a guest that signed in under him ((did that just make sense?)) that is what Aro wants to talk to Mike about....hmmm....and there were a few other pieces of information in the chapter... so no, I don't agree that it was a waste...besides as I said it was a requested conversation and they needed to have some dinner conversation anyway...lol.....Thanks for reading and leaving a comment. Taking another drink of coffee I didn’t say anything, but that was twice now that something was not put on the calendar. The lunch with Jane yesterday- which I found out about accidentally - that was ultimately cancelled and now the waxing, I guess my submissive will have some explaining to do. But at the moment I thought of something else.
“If you are waxing have them remove the remaining patch of hair” Bella’s hand stopped mid-way to her mouth as she just stared at me and I wondered what had caused the reaction I was getting.

I truly couldn’t imagine any ten year old taking it upon themselves to be responsible for keeping a house. I suppose that would be another reason why at the tender age of eighteen Bella thought herself ready for marriage. It seems so clear to me that she had hopes and dreams for a regular life, college, career and all the other things that eighteen year olds dream about. However in her advanced maturity she pushed her own happiness aside and took on the responsibility of trying to please someone else. I had thought Bella to be a natural submissive and it would seem like she was.
The mistake she made was in her choice of partners. I have no doubt that had he not been abusive she would have been a perfect wife. Bella did everything within her power to see to his happiness even to the point of losing her own.

The rumors, her friends and family who only know parts of the story, his family, etc. I am glad you are still working on making James some sort of villian becuase I would like to ultimately see Bella get justice for what she went through - something where she could return to her hometown without all the negative doubts and rumors follwing her. I have no idea what James could be using that money for - private detective/stalker?

That is small town living, I live in a town of 3500, everyone knows everyone. If your dog barks to much, you let your car windows open, had a fight with your husband - whatever it is, everyone knows it. That is the down side, the upside is that when you are sick, have a baby, need someone to help carry furniture - there is always someone there. First, I wathced the movie awards and Rob should hav dressed better yes, but I loved how playful he seemed. Even during the awkward Reese award.
This chapter was perfect for me, because it brought back to mind how educated Bella is and her dissertation and how much reserarch she actually has done into the lifestyle. Sometimes I feel that we forget due to all the amazing lemons you give us that B is this amazingly educated woman.
I love this vacation stuff, but I am still curious about everything they left behind at home - the mysterious woman at hte shelter, the break in attempts, etc. Although I am afraid once we get back to their everyday life, I am afraid that you will want to do something silly like end this story, so I am in a quandry.

I do feel that E is blurring the lines of thier playtime and thier real life and I think they need to go back to some harder set playtimes again. Yes, E defintely has a bug up his ass. But from the beginning B has not really understood his assignment. She (in a wrong way) let her stress about it be known, but E hasn't really understood her problem with it. First, she is probably way overthinking it but I am surprised he can't see that. I love this vacation and I know they have to go back to thier real life soon. ok it has helped knowing E's pov. However, I do worry about thier "usual" conflicting with other family obligations. I do think they need to really look at when it is appropriate to play and when it isn't. I can't even begin to explain my anger that he would think about using her greatest fear of abandonement against her. For him to consider it to me means that he was being vindictive to teach her a lesson and that in this relationship is absolutely wrong. I love your characters and this couple, but I do think that B has to show some strength in thier non Ds relationship and I hate to say it, but it may require them to spend some time apart because right now, E has too much power in that part of the relationship too and it isn't a true partnership.

ummm..even when they were in the middle of their ,,usual. it is always discrete and has never been flaunted in anyone's face. Not with her family or his. If you are referring to Edward saying that they will be in full mode..I ask that you again remember that Edward always has a reason for what he does...trust him...As far as his using her fears against her, that's not exactly what happened, he beat himself up over it becasue he was as mad at himself about it as you are. The thought came to his mind and he started playing with the idea, ((just as thoughts come to everyone's mind) and then as you start analzing the idea you either decide to go with it or drop it. That's what he did, in this case her writing reminded him but I'm fairly confident that had he not read the journal he would have came to the same conculsion on his own....Bella does show strength in both parts of their life...Do you not remember her yelling at him on th beach? Putting him in his place (quietly, yet fully) when he wanted to know what she was thinking about ((trapping tanya and jess in her web)) and how she basically told him that she needs to be allowed private thoughts, he agreed...There are many other examples I can give...Bottom line here is, In this circumstance Bella was wrong, she did the wrong thing with wrong motives ,,,which you will comepletly see in the upcoming chapter, which should be posted in a few days...And the last thing that should happen is a seperation. They need to work together to tear down whatever wall or block is in the way...Two are always stronger then one and seperating would only add more stress and disconnection ...at this point they need to bind together and trust in what they have started...becasue it is a true partnership in that they depend equally on eachother and when one is not living up to their end then the balance has to shift....((remember the see-saw?)) I do wish that Bella had the chance to tattle on Emmett as it stands now, she is going to get herself in trouble because she wasn't honest when Edward asked her what she wanted.
Also, while there were some that were nice to Bella, I still don't trust 90% of those mentioned in the story tonight. I was nervous for Bella in this chapter. She was walking around in a type of wonderland where she was ind of on display and she had to fake her way through it. I guess so far, I really don't like the club and hate that they have to go and spend time there.
