Forgiveness is a personal thing. I could never forgive anyone for leaving me, no matter what their reasoning was. To my mind, running away means you are no longer vested in the relationship and are either a) looking for someone else...which means they feel you are not the best out there or b) are in an affair that they are hoping will work out to a permanent relationship...most of the time this does not happen. Now of course there are relationships that are abusive and I always tell my patients...RUN AWAY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE! But that is just me, and yes my patients many times do take back the person who left them. The sad part is that only a very small percentage of these relationships remain stable for more than 10 years. It also gives the person who left an unfair advantage...the other person is so happy to have them back, that they are willing to do almost anything to keep them from leaving again. Its really quite sad.

Oh no no no sweetie you definitely took that the wrong way. I should've specified I'm sorry. What makes me sad about your review is that you said many times your patients take back the person who left them but only a small percenteage of those relationships remain stable for more than 10 years. The odds are sad, not your views. And when I said this is fiction I meant because it's fiction I'm going to bend the truth to make a more fairytale type ending probably then the actual statistics are. if that makes sense. I would never remove a review even the people who say my writing sucks. :) I accept it all good bad and the rude, I'm just thankful you took the time at all!! And again I am just sad about how many families and things are broken up and don't last even after trying to reconcile thats all.
