After checking the front door - out of habit - and closing the blinds in the living room, we were back in my room, naked sitting on the bed talking. He asked about birth control.
“I’m not on anything. There was no reason for it.” Edward tilted his head to the side. “I figure you weren’t unless you had some medical condition. I mean you haven’t had sex in what...How many years?” He grinned mischievously.

I normally don't like chapters about the other characters either. As a writer, I now try to keep them to a minimum, but I see their importance in telling the full story and the relationship to other members of the family.

I'm glad you didn't split it. What a great writer you are. Just when I thought I couldn't read anything new and different you step in and suprise me. And the emotion you manage to get across in your writing is just incredible. I often finish reading your chapters (and yes I look forward to them every week) and can't believe how I reacted. This one left me on edge utill the very end. I always love how these two bring out so many different sides. Very complex characters you write. I also have to laugh at how often you have me smiling or laughing at something they do or say (not tons in this chapter but in your last story and in previous chapters some pretty funny spots). Which when I think back to the topic that I thought was funny I wonder if I might be a bit off kilter. Like the conversation between Lauren and Bella, you had me smiling at how Bella was going all mafia on her. Any way I love your writing and your story is fantastic. I can't wait for the next update and sure wouldn't be disappointed if you updated extra this week again. I know, I know spoiled much. Oh my gosh, you always seem to surprise me with your plot. I really, really love your story and I've been so sad to know it will end. I hope you start a new story when you are done, because you are such a talented writer. I love how you wrote an older Sonny. Its so strange to see how he is older yet still needs to learn some lessons in life. I really just hope he never acts on his jealousy of his brother. I would love to see a Damion version to see how he sees his brother. I just hope they stick together, because I always see that as something important that Bella and Edward would want, but hey I could be wrong. Anyway thanks again so much for sharing with us, I know it probably takes a lot to put yourself out there like that.
