I think them restricting all contact between Bella and Alice and leaving without telling them where they were going was a great punishment...IF Bella were completely in the wrong; which I don't believe she is. Bella was only giving Alice a chance to come clean on her own not keeping her secret forever. Alice had a set deadline and Bella was trying to convience her to tell Jasper even while on the phone earlier. Bella could have offered to sit down with Alice when telling Jasper to offer support or even offered to speak for her rather than keeping another secret.
That being said...I understand where the boys were coming from. Communication is essential in any relationship but even more so in a D/s relationship. I think by leaving the girls in the dark about their travel plans and not contacting them for more than a day, the guys will really drive home the message about communication.

This might be the hottest, most erotic chapter you've written. I can't tell you how many times I scrolled back up and re-read parts...I don't even mean the *ahem* sexy parts.
I have to say, I'm more than a little disgusted/disappointed/disillusioned- pick a "d" word- with Riley. Even though he didn't know Esme was Edward's mother, he knew she was married-though he thought to Emmett-but that didn't stop him from coming on to her. I guess it's surprising because he was never overtly flirtatious with Bella because he knew she was in a relationship. Even though he's a playboy, I thought he was a good guy; now, not so much. I really hope that's what you were going for, 'cause I think it's awesome.
I'm not sure what to think about Esme. On one hand, have you ever seen that person who is just...ugh...who makes you forget everything and everyone? On the other hand, it's one thing to admire beauty, sensuality and sexuality (be it male and/or female) but quite another to act on it in any way while you or the object of your admiration is attached to another. I have to believe that, the way you've written her, Esme would have come to her senses and stopped before anything happened.
Bella refusing to keep that fuckery a secret from Edward shows how much she's grown. I was very proud of her for that. Edward, however, should not have called Emmett. Bella had to tell him because she was involved but Edward telling Emmett will only cause anger and hurt and embarrassment. Some things kids don't need to know about their parents.
The rest of it: return to the playroom and return of the "O", the punishment, and the voyeurism was wonderfully written. Hot. Erotic. Sensual. Sorry, I can't quite put in to words what I think.

I have a feeling James is involved but working with someone from the Club. But I think it's someone we haven't "met" possibly spreading rumors to get others involved while drawing attention away from themselves. I think Irina and Causis, while good suspects, are too selfish and self-important to be the driving force behind the problems. Of course, that is all personal specualtion...

We sat a little longer talking about some of the things she would like to do there. I had not been to Victoria in a long time and there were some new attractions that were possibilities for us to see. I thought it was a good time to bring up the extended stay at the beach. Bella seemed very opened to that possibility, made all the more attractive because both hotels allowed pets.
“When you talk to Alice would you get the name of the hotel so I can sort of figure out what the cost is going to be” The statement was harmless enough but my answer must not have been.
“I got it Bella you don’t have to worry about paying” her eyes narrowed
“Edward I’m not going to let you pay for the whole thing. We’re both going we’ll both pay”
“I’m the one that suggested the long trip, I got it” I watched as the resentfulness rolled across her face.
“This is not up for discussion, I’m paying my half”
What does she mean half are we going to split the cost of meals?
“Isabella be…” I didn’t get to finish, Bella’s eyes turned to pure fury

Hmmmm...Now time for my speculations.
First I think it was a woman breaking in to Edward's house. I believe this woman is connected to both the club and to James. The same person spreading rumors around the community about Bella and Edward. I've said before and I say again, I don't think it's someone we've officially met yet; someone still in the background.
Second, Heather's boyfriend is James. He is somehow using her child as leverage against her to get her to become close to Bella. As for the boyfriend being in law enforcement, James is a liar so maybe he's lied to her about that. Oh, I also do believe that it was not a slip of the tounge in the previous chapter, Heather has both a husband (either estranged, deceased or possibly deployed-at any rate he's not in the picture) and a boyfriend. I also think she's trying to let Bella know what's going on without outright saying it.
Third, Officer Hawk had to do a walk through of the entire house, correct? I think he saw the playroom, realized Bella is a sub (possibly doesn't know what exactly the terminology is) and therefore into all that "kinky shit". So now he thinks that her rape was just playtime gone wrong or a wronged sub out for revenge. (It really makes all sorts of sense in my head but I can't get it out right.) He's questioning her restraining order against James because he doesn't believe she needs it, not because he knows James is her rapist.
I know I'm probably way off on all three speculations but your's is one of the most fun(?) fics to specutlate about. You have so many threads weaving this whole thing together that it almost could go anywhere from here. Hell, it could be Elvis trying to break in the house. Nothing agains the King or your story, I'm merely trying to illustrate how you don't give broad clues or have a flashing neon sign pointing to the bad guy; Your clues are very vague but deliberate. I love that. (Again, it made more sense in my head. But I mean it all as a compliment. I love your story.)

I should have expected that she would have a nightmare, the trauma of having our home invaded was enough to unnerve me, I can only guess what memories it stirred in her. Removing my shirt that was full of tears and dirty from her nose I laid back down with her head on my chest. “We’ll change the locks tomorrow and figure out who it was, that will make you feel safer. It was just a dream Bella, I swear I would die before I let anyone hurt you.”
“Don’t say that!”
I wasn’t sure what she was talking about when she abruptly shot her head up to look at me. “I couldn’t stand it if something happened to you. I couldn’t take it”
Even in the darkness of the room I could see the fierceness in Bella’s eyes as the tears fell down her face. “Nothing is going to happen to me, and nothing is going to happen to you. Now stop with the tears and lets go back to sleep”
Cupping her face my thumb wiped away the tears as she nuzzled her cheek against my palm before turning her head to placing a soft kiss in the center of my hand. “Do you think I’m crazy?”
“No…” why the hell would I think that?
“…I think it was a stressful night and I think you have a lot on your mind and have dealt with more in your life then any one person should have to deal with. I told you before baby, I think you are the strongest person I know; a lesser person would have called it quits a long time ago. Now let’s go back to sleep, I have a promise to keep to a dog”

OOOOOOhhhhhhhhhh! Mike saw him entering the alarm code! I think. Dammit, I got all excited then started second guessing myself.
I still think Heather was doing recon for someone else (I think James) but not willingly. I think her son is being threatened and that's why she's doing it. And I still think she's trying to tell Bella without outright saying it. As for changing her story so much, maybe she can't keep the remembering the lie she's being forced to tell. But that's just me. I don't know WHY I want her to be innocent but I do.
I do appreciate that you made Edward fallible as a Master. Yes, his leaving Isabella alone in her waiting position was accidental and upsetting but it shows he's human. I love that your characters are flawed. Edward is a great Dom but he's not perfect and it makes him more human in my eyes. (If a fictional character based on another fictional character can be viewed as human. Eh, you know what I mean.)
I also think he handled his mistake well. He immediately went to her, calmed her and cuddled her. The only thing I question (remember:no personal experience) is it seemed like he went from forgiveness seeking boyfriend to Dom without warning. He went from asking her what she wanted to do to rebuking her for disagreeing about the bands. Now, I mean no disrespect but is that normal? Or did I miss something? I know she didn't safe word but I think it was only because he wasn't in the room. Was she still in the sub mindset the whole time they were speaking? Because she was speaking in the first person until he told her not to. (I'm sorry, I just got a bit confused and it'll bug me if I don't get it out.)

“It’s just the food” I told him as he followed me to the door barking the whole time “Seth!” I admonished while shutting down the alarm and opening the door to a very stunned Irena.
“Since when do you have a dog Edward?”
I didn’t respond to her question instead sighing heavily “What can I do for you Irena?”
“You can invite me in” She said as if it should be obvious.
Hesitantly I moved to the side to allow her entrance locking the door but leaving the alarm off, I wasn’t taking any chances. She stood in my living room watching Seth as he sat by my feet.
“I never thought you to be a dog lover” The sweetness in her voice confused me because the last time we spoke it was anything but friendly. That was the day she and Caius attacked Bella for which I found their actions deplorable.
“Cut the crap Irena why are you here?” My tone was rude but she deserved it and I didn’t trust her.

First off, I have never wanted to be hand fed as much as I do now. The way you wrote it is amazing, intimate, erotic. If you wrote that from experience, wow. Just wow.
As for Irena, I think she's being partially truthful. She's giving Edward just enough to start to trust her but (I think) she knows more than she's saying. It all goes back to "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer."
With her outright shock over Seth, I also can't help but wonder if she may have had something to do with the attempted break-in. As if realizing it would be even harder now between the combination locks, upgraded alarm and watch dog.
Just had a crazy thought. What if Mike is working with/for Irena? You implied that he was a Dom but I could see him as a switch just like her. But you also said Edward has never seen him with a woman so maybe he's with Caius instead. Or Cauis and Irena. Maybe it's Elvis! Oh my God the consparicies are endless! I love it!
Edward was smart not to punch in the alarm code in front of Irena. She may have been sent to find out the new one since the one Mike saw didn't work. (In fact, those alarms can also be set to have different codes. One code to turn it on and another to turn it off. Or they can be set to different users so, for instance at the Club, managers can know which employee is turning the alarm on and off.)
PS I'm just kidding about Elvis. I don't really think he has anything to do with the situation. That was just me trying to be funny. He strikes me as more of a sub anyway. You know Priscilla held the flogger in that relationship. :)

Edward was pulling into the parking lot that was across the street from the main entrance. He didn’t say anything else until he held my door open for me taking my hand and pulling me closer to him. “I am sorry about my behavior”
I smiled at him “You girl forgives you”
His face moved closer to mine as he spoke “My girl is more tolerant then I deserve”
“Never” as I said the word his lips brushed against mine, it was a sweet chaste kiss. When he pulled back his eyes held a tenderness in them as he palmed the side of my face.
“Remember your task and speak to no one other then family members”
“Yes Sir”
“Come let’s get this over with so we can get home” I nodded in agreement following behind him with my eyes down. As we approached the entrance Edward spoke with the guy at the door.
“Tyler, how is the night going?”
“Edward, actually it’s been busy, it’s game night”
Edward groaned “damn I forget about that”
Tyler chuckled as we moved into the club telling us to have fun, I wasn’t sure what game night was but it appeared I was about to find out.

I think her gift to him was her public submission. By having Rose tell Ron she needed permission (even though she didn't say why) it showed everyone in the club her respect for Edward as a Master and her ability to learn and grow from her mistakes (peen kiss, anyone?).
Oh how the plot thickens! New players have been introduced: Demetri and Jessica. Could Jess be the mystery "guest" with the wrong alarm code? Hmmm, we'll have to read to see.
I don't quite understand why Isabella was allowed to defend herself fully to Cauis' accusations but not to Jess'. I'm sure Edward had a good reason and he knows his girl well enough to know that she would not...attack(?) unprovoked. Semantics or not, Isabella did follow the letter of his instructions; she did not speak to Jessica only to Rosalie. Also, if Jess was holding Isabella's arm hard enough to where she (Isabella) had to "wrench" her arm away, will there be a bruise? His questioning a hand shaped bruise would be a good way to get Isabella to open up to him about what actually happened in the bathroom. Another question I have: Is it considered "bad form" to question another Dom's collared submissive? Is that why Edward didn't ask Rosalie about what happened with Jess? I mean, she was a witness. Although, the whole situation in Aro's office shows, again, how much she's grown as a submissive.
And what business does Cauis have talking to Demetri about Isabella? That was a huge red flag for me. I know there are many rumors going around the club about Edward and Isabella but something about the way he said it seemed very sinister. Cauis is repeated over and over again. He has his fingers in so many pies I'm starting to wonder if he's undermining everything Aro and Edward do so he can "overthrow" them and take over the club.
One last point then I'll let you get back to your life. Although she was honest by saying she was tired, Isabella was not completely honest with Edward at the end of the chapter. She did not take that opportunity to fully explain to him how she truly feels; scared, hurt, nervous. She was hurt by Edward's not fully believing her and reprimand in the office. She was scared during Cauis' confrontation. And she's nervous about what's to come. Sounds like her journal is going to be getting a good work out the next time she writes in it.
So many strings you've given us. Each one pulling a different bit of the plot together. You're weaving them masterfully and the tapestry is starting to come together.
...But I still think Elvis could be involved. ;) LOL

She wasn't allowed to defend herself...Edward gave Caius permission to ask Bella anything he wanted to know...Edward knew that caius wouldn't ask anything.
And another thing is that Caius was completly wrong in what he did to Bella. She is a collared sub, who he has been told not to talk to and has no right to demand anything of her. Caius broke every protocal there is. So his 'crime' was an 'A Class Felony' ... As far as what happened with Jess... I will let EPOV explain why and what he was thinking about that....Edward could have asked Rose because I'm sure that Emmett wouldn't have mind...It's up to the Dom, who the sub talks to and who she doesn't talk to ... another Dom can ask a question but unless there is an understanding that she is allowed to talk to him, it will propbaly go unanswered....((it all depends))....
You will see in a few chapters that Caius was just talking out his ass....trying to sound more informed then he actually was.....hmmmm....about Bella saying that she was tired.... that was the truth, Edward didn't ask her to elaberate in fact she offered up more information then she should have, but Edward knew what she was feeling and again you will see that in the next chapter with EPOV......thanks for reading and leaving a comment, I have your teaser for you....lml

“About what?” she truly didn’t know what I meant, so I held up her arm. Bella’s face fell “Oh”
I kept staring at her while she sat back down in her seat, waiting for her to start talking. Whatever happened she didn’t want to tell me, but I wasn’t giving her a choice I wanted, no I needed to know. Finally she sighed and started talking.
“I don’t know what you want me to say Edward I handled it, ingeniously I thought, I let her know that I wasn’t going to take any of her shit while still obeying you. Did I do wrong? Were you mad at me?”
Was I mad at her?
I figured I would let her answer her own question “Did you get punished?”
Bella shook her head at my question so I asked another one “Were you rewarded?”
The sweetest smile and blush broke out over her face “Several times” she admitted, making me chuckle, but I needed her to know something.
My fingers laced with hers on top of the table while I explained “The fact of the matter is…” I looked in her eyes “…Bella you shouldn’t have to handle shit.”
