When spring came, we were able to resume our walks in the park and on occasion, Edward would accompany Mrs. Jones and me on our trips to the marketplace. Today he was acting a little strange, disappearing for a second or two as we would round a corner, before reappearing again with that playful grin on his face. The three of us strolled through rows of carts before we stopped to look through the fruit and vegetable selections.
Mrs. Jones was looking through the vegetable cart while I stood in front of the fruit cart with an apple in my hand. I didn't see Edward move away from us, so the light tap on my shoulder startled me, causing the apple to fall back into the pile. I turned to see him staring at me with his playful grin again.
"Miss Bella, I have found something for you and I know you're going to love it."
I smiled at his excitement. "What did you find, Edward?"
"Something that will make you love me forever." His voice was filled with confidence.
"Oh, you think so, do you?" My smile grew wider. "Then show me what could be so special."
"Close your eyes," he whispered.

Yes, Edward loved Bella with everything he had. Sure it was hard to lose his parents, but Bella was his life and he tried so hard to hold on just to see her one last time. Unfortunately, the fates weren't with him in the end. Now, with Edward gone, Bella is definitely going to have a hard time coping. Her life will definitely change as she tries to move on without him. "Do not ever call me that," I growled, as I grabbed his hand. "I am not your son."
I threw his hand away from me and was completely taken aback when his body flew across the room.
"Edward," his voice was still calm, "I know you don't understand, but I need you to calm down and let me explain. There's so much to tell you and we need to tend to your thirst."
"Tend to my thirst?" The words didn't match with his previous statement. "How will you tend to my thirst if you claim water will not help?" I growled. "And what promise did you make? To whom? How did I not die along with my parents?" In my anger, each question came out faster than the one before it. "Where am I? What did you do to me? How can I...?"
"Enough!" His voice rang with authority, cutting me off mid-sentence.
He began pacing again, one arm across his chest and the other resting on that arm while his fingers pinched the bridge of his nose.
"You must feed, Edward. It is the most important thing right now. So I'll tell you the one thing that will be the hardest for me to explain."
"Feed?" I asked, confused by his word.
He ignored me and continued.
"You asked me what I've done to you. You asked me why you didn't die with your parents."
The speed of his pacing increased as he continued to speak, not once looking at me while the words flowed from him.
"The simplest answer is...you did."

Let me preface this by saying, I have cherished my writing fan fiction. I've loved every chapter, every story, every review, and every fan. It's been a thrilling and fulfilling seventeen months.
All things have to end though. I'll be graduating college in the spring, and by then this final project will be complete. I won't be writing fan fiction anymore, but will be moving on to continue my freelance work that I'm doing, and also writing my own novels. Before I start that though, I want to leave the fan fiction world with a bang.
This final project will be a series of four stories. "Reborn in Twilight," "Broken During The New Moon," "Fighting an Eclipse," and "We Are Breaking Dawn." That's right, I'm rewriting the saga.
Some may consider it a ballsy move, some may see it as stupid. But since my writing fan fiction has been me molding the characters to be my own, what other proper way is there to leave fan fiction, other than rewriting it.
I mean no disrespect by doing so. I enjoyed the saga very much. Still, I think I can do a decent job at making it something different. Not necessarily better, just my own.
There will still be similarities to the saga of course. No character names or couple pairings will change. Only the characters personalities may be different. Something else that I'll do, as I do in all my stories, is make multiple character POV's. I think it helps character development, and makes it a more rounded and complete story.
There will be obvious differences also. The vampires will not be the same type. No sparkling or dazzling here. Parts will be darker, and parts will be funnier. No differences are meant to upset anyone, or offend, it's just the way I write and tell the story.
I hope this will be enjoyed, and I hope I receive the much needed feedback in reviews.

Do you believe that Jacob!!!??? It was alright in his mind to imprint on Bella's best friend Angela while he was supposed to be dating Bella, and hid it!!!!! But he has the nerve to have a problem with Paul imprinting on Bella and using the tribal elders to break them up. Nothing good is going to happen for Jacob and Angela if he keeps this up. He'll fool around and not be able to have any kids to carry on his family name.

Jacob has some lingering issues regarding Bella and so does Angela. Neither of them matured, their mentality is stuck in high school, so to speak. As far as the tribal elders ordering Paul back to La Push, this is canon--SM wrote her novel in a way that none of the wolves could ever leave the reservation, they have to live and die there, according to her. More to come.

This is a continuation of the unfinished novel, Midnight Sun, by Stephenie Meyer. The book was intended as a companion novel to Twilight. My story takes off where Midnight Sun ends. Therefore, reading Midnight Sun is a prerequisite. This story is told from Edward Cullen's perspective. You can read it at her website.
All of the characters and quite a bit of the dialogue are Stephenie Meyer's, from Twilight. I kept that for continuity because it is a story people know. My goal was to further tell our favorite vampire's story. This is the story from his perspective; his thoughts, his feelings, what was he doing when Bella wasn't around and what was he thinking when she was right next to him?
