Poor Bella, It sounds like she is really suffering. I am curious about the phone call, when they mentioned 'the coming months' I thought perhaps she was pregnant but the fact that Alice met her last year and she was already so broken makes me doubt that.
Maybe it is the trial of whoever hurt her so much, I know in the summary it mentions rape so I am guessing that has already happened to her and maybe the attacker is coming to trial soon.
Oh well one way to find out, chapter 3 here I come...

ohhhh, no one's thought she was pregnant. She isn't. Thank goodness for her.
Her past has a lot more than a "rape" in it but I needed to add at least that to the descrop[tion so people knew what to expect. I know some people won't/can't read stories where rape of any kind happened/happens.

I love the idea of that juxtaposition. It isn't something we see a lot from BPOV in the Twilight books, but it had to be there. Two opposing forces one pulling him towards her, one pulling him away.

there are no wolves in my story. Jacob won't be an issue either. Jacob is a straw man. He's there to show how Bella reacts to a completely non-threatening male as opposed to how she reacts to the Cullens and Edward. He likes her but it is not a huge amount and there will be NO love triangle of any kind. I hate them cause EVERYONE ends up losing in the end.
So no reason to hate my Jacob ;)

I have to say I have a very hard time with Rose, writing her I mean. In canon she was a bitch. Soryr but she was. I am trying to keep the Cullens as canon as possible so therefore I need Rose to be a brat, BUT I also want her to have a bit of a softer side. It's a hard balence. Right now she has no reason to like Bella or care about her at all. Not really. So she is going to treat her with disdain like she doea ll humans.

The responce that some, like you gave Alice was unexpected. I dont' want her pushy in that she wants Bella to do things, but more she is searchign for answers. Bella is so darned closed up Alice is pushing at things to see what information she can get and what will happen. She would not make Bella do something she si truly scared of or leave her hanging ever, I promise!

I am glad you clarified Alice's behaviour in the last chapter regarding the party I am back to loving her now rather than being annoyed with her. Also the authors note cleared up some issues and although I am eager to understand what has happened to Bella I understand why you are writing it the way you are.
Ordinarilly I would be begging for an alternate POV by now (I am a POV junkie in fan fiction) but in this story telling it from Edward's POV only makes sense and although it means we are left with many mysteries it means we are living the story along with him rather than waiting for him to catch up with us all the time.
The idea of Bella being in witness protection makes sense and it explains why Alice had the vision of Bella leaving if Jasper tried to dig deeper into Bella's identity as it would have alerted the authorities.
Long ass review I know but I had a lot to say this time, hopefully it will make up for some of my more stingy ones.

I am glad you are back to liking Alice. LOL trust me you were not the only one that was upset with her from last chapter.
I am soooooo an alternative POV whore myself. Starting next chapter I have a few other POVs in out takes. None of the out takes will give ANY spoilers, more we can see a few things going on in the background that Edward can't. They are all basically Cullen pov's but I have one Bella down the way of her meeting Edward and chapter 2&3 from her POV, but I placed them in the out takes where you won't have to worry to much.I myself love EPOV in any story and this one it is fun watching him learn and figure things out on his own with the mystery still all there.

This story is getting better and better with every chapter.
Time for some more supposition... From the phone calls I have deduced that Bella's parents are dead they were who were murdered and as they said the 'last trial' it was by a group of people rather than one or two acting indepentently. It also explains Alice's vision of Bella comminting suicide in the spring - she is living now to see the attackers brought to justice after that she hads no reason to live.
I am impressed with the amount of Twilight character that you have included in this story in alternate roles than their canon selves, such as Jenk's. You obviously planned this story out well and it really shows in the quality of the plot.

Most people ended this chapter with the thought you have. That Bella's parents are dead and a group of people killed them. I won't say either way but just keep in mind I am leaving bread crumbs to figure some thing out, but some of them lead to false trails . . .

And I also want to use Twilight characters as puch as possible, so if I'm not using them in a Canon type way I will stick them in other places. Honestly, I do feel bad, cause the poor Rez guys (well many of them) end up getting a bad place in my story. I love the Rez guys, but alas I needed some bad guys and they were the only major group not mentioned otherwise (Jake is not one of the baddies)

I am glad the rest of the family are more involved in the story now. I bet Esme is delighted to finally have an excuse to meet Bella although it is an unfortunate one.
I hope Jasper got the message across to Mike if not maybe someone could just 'accidentally' slip and break his legs. I'm sure Emmett could do it and make it look like an accident.
I had a thought could Jasper not come and help Bella sleep at night? He could hide with Edward and flood her with calm like he did in Twilight when they went to Phoenix.

Blimey!!! A seriously action packed chapter. I loved it.
First off Eric... WHAT A VILE (insert appropriate foul words here)BEAST. He is horrible, I hope he finds himself a nice 'buddy' in jail that can show him what it feels like to be on the receiving end of what he was planning (dark thought I know but I have a serious problem with the date rape situation)
Van Crash... So wasn't expecting that, In truth I have been so caught up in the human issues facing Bella in this story and the way you write Edward so well I forget sometimes that there is also a vampire element to this story (duh). It was great I like that you switched it up a little from the usual Twilight car park scene, to be hinest I have read that so many times in fan fiction I am getting a little impatient with it. You made it different enough to be original without losing the basic objective of it, which is to show Bella that Edward is different.
All in all an awesome chapter, I am loving this story.

Eric is vile and I hate to say if you hate date rape then you might not like where this stroy leads. You won't see Bella date raped but that happened to her on en exponetial scale.
You are sooooo sweet. I have thought, a few times, that the vampireness of Edward gets lost. Not a bad thing but you're right, incidence like the van bring it home. I am trying to incorporate the story itself as much as I can, but since I have the story written with a different base, things like the van are different as well. I'm glad how you liked it worked.

Poor Bella I can't imagine how she must feel finally feeling that she has friends that she can be 'normal' with then finding out how much they really know.
I like that her first thought was Angel's to her it would seem that way after everything she has been through.

Honestly. I can't keep the Cullen's from learning of Bella's past if alice can keep seeing all of Bella's future. I want it to remain secret and that darned pixie makes it soooooo difficult to do. I love Alice but she messes with plots!

The underwear conversation had me laughing so hard I cried. Poor Edward I hope Emmett never finds out about that conversation or Edward may well dismember him.
I thought of something I forgot to mention in my review for the Alice out take. Bella's reactions to changing in front of the others and when Carlisle tried to listen to her lungs both time she had a reaction be being exposed in front of other people. Is this just because of the trauma of her past sufferings or is she scarred in some way physically?
Jacob - I know I have said before I am not a fan of him but in this story I find him actually quite tolerable - This is real progress as usually when reading about him in any story I am imagining ways for him to be turned to kibble. So respect to ya for breaking my cycle of hatred

I am glad Bella is letting Carlisle help her, that panic attack was so sad it as hard to read. I was also sad that my theory about Bella being scarred was right. The thought that someone whipped her is abhorrent, I had thought that her wrist cuffs were to hide scars from her cutting her wrists but Edward’s thoughts made me consider that maybe is she was held captive for a period of time is she had been restrained by the wrists there may be scarring from that.
The image of Jane propositioning Edward had me laughing my ass off. As did the idea of them all watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
Shouldn’t Alice have already know Bella’s clothing size as she brought her outfit for the party?
As for the Spider Monkey comment, I'm not bothered either way to be honest I didn't particularly like it but didn't hate it either,
All in all another fabulous chapter and a wonderful long one too.
I am loving this story and I'm trying to slow my reading speed now to eke out the chapters already published before I beging my inbox stalking looking for updates, I am a nightmare when I am really into a story I am constantly checking for updates and I have been know to do an Alice-esque happy dance when new chapters are posted.

I know her panic attack was difficult. A lot of people struggled with it. That was kinda the point :( Is it weird that we want to pull someone out of a story and bring a fictional character home with us to cuddle with and tell her that life will be ok? Her cuffs do hide scars that were not self inflicted.
I have NO clue why I had Jane be the instigator like that. I know that most FF has Tanya as the tramp after Edward, but here I went with Jane. Can you not TOTALLY picture Emmett watching BtVS?? I can. Easily!

I know about wanting updates. This summer I have been sooooo FAIL in my updating. I am hoping to get back to updating regularlly in a few weeks. I HAD been updating every week on Tuesdays, but this fall I have another story (Domella and subward) that I will be writing. I am thinking I will update on Tues and switch off week to week which story I update. But I will get a few more chapters of this story out first because I have been so fail on updates. I feel really bad about the whole thing.

An awesome chapter. It was hard to read in the beginning as I could see how easy it would be for them to lose the progress they had made together but it all turned out well in the end.
The meadow scene was very sweet, I had never thought of Bella's point [No one blames the lion for killing the gazelle. That’s what he’s made to do. No, we would praise the lion that didn’t.] Its a valid point and it is an apt way to describe the base nature of Vampires.

Oh my word!!!! I soooooo can help you smack him!!! This was my twist on Sm's world. I HATED that Edward took off, but more than they I HATED that the Cullens not only allowed him too but went with him. I just don't think that would have happened. So I changed things around so that it matched what I wanted. I get why SM did what she did, she needed to in order to introduce Jacob (Whom i KNOW you love) and that whole triangle aspect, but I just don't think Alice would have left Bella.
Poor Jasper. I feel bad for him. Bella and him work things out, you're right he's very important him her healing.

The hardest part of EPOV is that we don't get to see where Bella is at. She came to terms with her feelings for Edward after the kiss at Homecoming. So being told she was mated was like when she found out the Cullen's were vampires, she already knew they weren't human so the what wasnt that important. In a lot of ways Bella is and has been more trusting of her relationship with Edward that he has with her. Now that he gets the mating that's switched a bit, if that makes sense.

I especially loved the Carlisle hug; it was very sweet but not overdone. Bella has been through so much and it’s good that you are showing the progress at a natural pace rather than rushing through it all, even that simple hug is a huge step for her.
I’m looking forward to some Emmett and Bella time when he starts her training sessions. Emmett will be a good person for Bella to bond with as he is very light-hearted he will provide some reprieve from her more serious real life issues.

Another awesome chapter.
I am reading the chapters as slowly as I can now to drag out the enjoyment as I know there aren’t many more to come. I’m sad I didn’t manage to convince you to go to War and Peace word counts.
The whoopee cushion under Carlisle’s chair made me laugh my ass off and the capture the flag/Bella game was very original.
Bella did very well at the party and dealt with Lauren fabulously.

I like the 'Pioneer Aviation' mention, I haven't watched that episode in ages I may have to hunt it down when I have finished reading this story. I am a HUGE M*A*S*H fan (is it weird that I think Hawkeye is hot even though he's technically 50 years older than me?)

You have caught the flow and cadence of Stephenie Meyers writing but made it your own. It is wonderful to read. I am a fan fiction junkie; honestly I’ll read pretty much anything but Jacob/Bella stories (I have standards) and obviously there are varying degrees of quality in that world. But very occasionally you find a story like this that is like reading a published work.
