But no this is a story and so Edward will not find out about what happened to Bella for a long time to come. I sure hope they are not separated for long. I do suspect that Edward is at her door saying her name as I write this note. I would think it would look pretty suspicious if Edward doesn't return any of CJ's calls or show up when he is called to a meeting. And what is going to happen about the button ceremony? Maybe Edward was going to get CJ's neighborhood which included the Pizzeria not when CJ is killed which Edward suspected, but rather Riley though CJ would take ove after Carlisle SR. is taken out and Edward would move up.

She deserves better than that. She and Bella really need to do something to improve their own self-worth and stop leaning on men all the time. That old saying, there's your version and there's my version, and then there's what really happened. I would have told him, otherwise he will be under the mistaken impression that it went well and will have unrealistic expectations for the future. He will be disappointed. I understand what Elizabeth is saying. I'm surprised she said as much as she did against Carlisle at the dinner table last night since she is obviously afraid of him and how her actions toward him could hurt her son. Bella is good at keeping secrets to protect the ones she loves, Jasper before and Edward now, so she won't have any trouble keeping this from Edward I don't think.
I can't check out Bold Gestures, well I can but not for the first time, because I have already read it and it was great. I really loved that story just like I love this one too. I wonder why this one and that one do not have follow up stories when your Storm series has so many?

So JFK, Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe, that was a humorous addition. Boy they travel in rich and famous circles. I didn't realize that the soon to be president knew Frank and of course there were rumors about him and Marilyn but meeting up with maffia types, I had no idea. They're catholic too, and she has two children to raise, so there is no getting out.
I feel sorry for Bella too, and Franny, what's going to happen to their friendship when Edward starts treating Bella like a whore. I like that he helped her get dressed and that he told her that he doesn't really think of her as a slut. If I were here I wouldn't like being called that either. I wouldn't like being called his Goomah either. His girlfriend, well I guess that would have to do, although really that's not any better in their era. Oh boy. Poor Bella, drawn to him inspite of her efforts not to be. She's carrying his child too...obviously. I mean the sickness masks it a bit, but she threw up before she caught whatever her son had. It wasn't nervousness about being with Aro that made her sick. I can't believe Edward is giving her her space.

Unexpected ending to Aro, not that I mind one bit. I stopped liking him when he cheated on Bella. I stopped liking him more when he talked about ordering Bella around and taking her back to Italy. Bella's parents blame Bella for this and she will blame Edward.

Edward is actually being really nice. Miscommunication between them would usually bother me, but in this case I think it is wise they are taking it slow. So did Bella's dad tell Aro to kill Edward? Does Carlo know that the story about a drive-by is just that, a story? Does he think that Aro got killed trying to kill Edward and the story was just a cover-up?
