I realize, beside the shit with Carlisle, that you are going for a happy E&B after all the drama but, since Bella is always wanting answers I don't get the last lemon? I think that's the first time he has said he needed to talk and she gets naked? I was kind of hoping to see a true softer, more open Edward when he finally told her the truth about his Mom's death. When Bella had the panic attack in Florida, that was all in BPOV so to me, yes, Edward was concerned but we didn't get the range of emotions that were evident in this chapter. I felt like this moment was a real turning point in his emotional availability and willingness to be open with her. This story is definitely "M" but it's so much deeper than some soft porn TwiFic. You are an awesome writer and I love your style, but with this chapter I feel like you sold yourself short. I feel like these two are onions and you've done a masterful job peeling back the layers...just feel like you missed an opportunity to peel back another layer of Edward. I know you wrote this a while ago (my second time reading but it's been a while) and I know QS is not on FanFic anymore but some of the sequels are??? What's up with that? I have read MUCH worse than your lemonades and the sequels are just as bad in a good way? For example Dirty South Drug Wars? Great fiction but just as dirty and violent. I had one author tell me if your not in the in crowd, you are looked at with a fine tooth comb and picked on which is total bull shit!!! A good story, is a good story. I read your analogy of Alex being Bellas protégé, and I honestly liked her at the shore. But, I have not liked her since the Chazz dinner. I think she is a trouble maker and I get that Bella needs a friend but even Bella said she makes everything about herself. Plus, I was so pissed at Carlisle for abandoning his children on thanksgiving for a piece of ass. That part with Carli was sad but my God,gotta defend your "girl" that you've been dating for 3 days, fuck your motherless children. I was hoping Edward would talk some sense into him. Oh, and C comparing Alex and him to their 12 year marriage that HE has caused so many problems in because of his jealousy? What a crock of shit and I can't believe that Edward didn't call him on it. Aro can defend the game played at MS but it still made her look like a whore in front of the family and Edward needs to be the boss just like he said and tell C that Alex has to prove herself a lady. I had a feeling you would kill one of Carlisle women but I was honestly hoping it would be Esmr. That whole chapter was fucking awesome! I knew Esme being such a guinea princess,  so filled with jealousy would never let her shit go. I haven't cared for her since the wedding and you have showed perfectly her true colors or decent into madness. Man was that a long time coming!!! It's like Emmett is still that guy who showed up at the Middleton apartment in QS. Still thinking the worst of Edward and still treating Bella like an idiot. Rose has always been the quiet presence keeping the peace but this has been brewing for a long time. Bella has every right to be upset and instead of an apology, he treats her like a child whom he did the right thing by because it was less complicated and easier on him to shield her from the truth. I was very proud of Bella, she didn't run for shelter or Edward, she stood on her own 2 feet. God, I can't believe Alice is still in the picture after all these years. Like Bella has so much class but Alice is still that white trash, filter less hood rat with 3 kids, by 3 different fathers...ugh. But, it shows a contrast between where Bella was and where she is today.

Wow, that was a powerful chapter and WTF about people saying your dialogue is choppy? That is completely and utterly bull shit...can you imagine Edward saying "No Sonny, your mother is in no way upset with you so please turn from the doorway and walk back to your bedroom for it is the time for young men to rest"? Come on...even if he wasn't a wise guy he wouldn't speak that way and the way you write stuff brings the emotions to the surface and it feels so real!! I love your writing style! I have tried to read a few FF where it's like Bella said, and then Edward replied and then Bella gaped and said...let's just say I have never finished a story that was written like that, no matter how good the storyline was because it was so hollow. I wasn't going to comment but I read what you wrote about the hate you got for this chapter and I found it extremely intense but true to the characters. Edward has never been a good person and he loves very few. With what's going on, something was going to snap and this has been coming. I loved the raw emotions and the actions. Passion, fear, jealousy, rage, love...it was all there and it was great!!!

That was just bizarre!!! First, she kicked Mauro in the balls and he threw her against his car? I don't think that reaction by him is so weird? Edward has done worse to Bella and I'm not talking about when he kicked her to the floor (which she deserved that too) but the grabbing and squeezing he has done is very much handsy and borderline abusive. Second, she JUST got the shot for the clap...her shoving his dick in her and worse, fingering herself & shoving them in his mouth...knowing that almost made me gag!! And she's a nurse so just YUCK!!! Lastly, she has just been with Mauro since she was a kid and she's ripping her clothes off and banging herself? It just didn't seem like an accurate representation of a girl with so little experience. Hence Mauro fucking a stripper, angel at home and a whore on the side? I get you want a juicy lemon but I think about Carlisle and Esme in Aruba and her wanting to get kinky in the bedroom. That fit because she was desperate to keep him happy and was practically doing research. Honestly, I think this is the perfect opportunity to test how devoted Carlisle really is to Alex. I'm pretty Pro-Life (catholic) but this is a story, she is young, has never been single, just made her first grown up decision by breaking up with him to find herself. There have been a lot of children born in this story and I think this is a interesting turn of events and would like a woman to choose for herself and see if true love really can conquer all. Can Carlisle forgive a decision that he would be opposed to and move forward? I think he subconsciously did this on purpose, a reverse trapping. I also think Alex is so wrong to have drug Bella into this situation. She has other friends. THAT is Bella's family and regardless of her mind set of keeping Carlisle secrets over the years, she will still put Edward, which in turn means Carlisle some of the time first. Her immaturity is showing again and I agree with Edward about her needing to be treated like a kid. This pairing just doesn't seem wise and life can't always revolve around feelings. It's pretty fucked up that he would bring her to his house that is a shrine to Esme...they're just both not ready for the whole ball of wax. Maybe they can reconnect in a few years? That would make more sense because even Carlisle has his head up his ass thinking his kids and Alex can be chums and she won't be a mother figure.

Another awesome chapter! I love the slow burn of Dame figuring himself out.I also enjoyed every chapter from the DPOV because he is so complex that you never know what he's going to do. God I want to know the truth about Amelia! Who sits on the phone while their bleeding or miscarrying? The only reason I think she is maybe truthful is that she only had to wait till the 15th to get him to marry her but something is definitely fishy with her as a whole. She seems so calculating. ..almost like a spy for Luke?

I am not sure if After the Storm is a full story but I could read about these people forever. Congrats on this trilogy, I have enjoyed it so much!!!

Hmmm...I'm starting to wonder about Amelia. To go to your "hook-ups" Mom's house for advise on how to snag him and then just la de da until he shows up? I little stalkerish. I would be pissed if I was Kylie too and I would probably say "Damian and I have plans" so she would scram. I also keep thinking about their first sexual encounter...her screaming "come in me"? That's weird especially after reading Kylie's story with Joe. She had enough common sense to use a condom with Gio and she is the epitome of immature! Wanting an abortion before she ever took the test? You really showed how unworldly she is without it being annoying. Like when she was born and Dame got jealous so E&B started treating him like a baby? 

I think Dame's inner monologue is fascinating because his perception is so askew!!! He reads into what Edward, Sonny, Amelia say that I don't "hear" them saying. I wish we had Amelia's internal monologue because she seems bat shit crazy!!!

That NEEDED to happen!!! I don't know what game Maggie and Dame were playing at but I knew Edward was the only person who could help Sonny. Bella behaved like a dumb bitch...I don't even know what she was saying unless she has a bad memory...that Welcome to Motherhood comment was also a low blow but maybe Edward was right that she was just saying all that to get him to Sonny's house.

That was a very cool chapter...I don't get all the crap with Jordan though...she's not involved, doesn't need to go out of town and based on Dame's choices, why would he want to bring her? He knows Kylie will blah blah blah and possibly give her true reasons not to be with him. Yes Gio is going with Kylie but this isn't a couples retreat. I do understand him better but I think he would still want to keep her out of this since he has so many bad feelings about hiding out. He always hated to be analyzed, but he lets her. Edward is on point...considering he has no clue she is pregnant this conversation makes perfect sense. I don't think Edward's anger was misplaced. As fragile as Bella is, he has to get real with her...I get her calling when the cops started swarming but her non-stop calling saying she was worried is a line of crap. You just wrote the perfect example of why people don't like Bella. She throws a temper tantrum, cries and has Edward running around like the nutless wonder. If she says "sorry" it's insincere and here she should be apologizing but she's crying in the bathroom. She doesn't work, go to school or anything and she "knows" what's up growing up on the block but she is clueless. Why not ask the question "why are you working so much?" Or "why haven't we been having sex". Edward is not Dr. Phil and I would have slapped her stupid ass like a 3 year old and out her in a time out...that's her level of maturity. On the flip side, Bella just wanted to go to the court house to get married and they need to do that ASAP. Maybe I'm being sexist but I think Edward needs to fire Bella. And, GOD PLEASE have Emmett hook up with ANYONE other than Rose because a woman like Rose wouldn't put up with the crap that Bella, Esme, or Alice seem to be comfortable with. But, at least Carlisle and Jasper or nice to their partners and don't treat them like their subordinates 

Bella seems so nice to everyone but Edward...it's kind of weird...I almost wonder if she's mentally unstable in some sense? Like the thing with Lauren. She seems to somewhat pride herself on professionalism but she should at least tell Emmett about Lauren. Just for some perspective and stuff. I get her not telling Edward but it's like she is a glutton for punishment? She kind of comes across as a wimp 

I liked almost everything about this chapter except for the dress...instead of hearing what she heard in the bathroom she should have been on the worst dressed list...that's what happens to nobody's who want to be themselves. I think what I'm missing in the story is EPOV because I don't get the attraction. She is so negative and even though she claims to trust Edward she's getting a second job without telling him? She just exudes such negativity that it's hard to see anything lovable and I think the hardest part is her lack of gratitude yet she is so obsessed with money and how much things cost.

Let me ask you a question, do you ever hear a word from Matt Damon's wife? She was a single mom he met out one night. Not Hollywood, not the most beautiful, but she is probably one of the classiest women who walk the red carpet. Bella is well versed in all things Hollywood and paparazzi yet she didn't think that his PR Team would be concerned with her image? I agree with Bella, they maybe soulmates but they are not suitable for each other. And why would Edward attempt to make people he PAYS to promote his image when they are doing their job? If this is anyone's fault, it's Edward's for not having the foresight to speak to his team about how he wanted his relationship with Bella handled. He knows she is getting unfavorable press yet he avoided the elephant in the room (no pun intended). Any person involved in Hollywood says that you better develop some thick skin or your never going to make it...Edward needs to mentor Bella, I know he has tried, but he needs to try harder because even if he is the equivalent to Brad Pitt, even he couldn't stop the YEARS of his wives being harassed and shamed so the only person who will continue to "pay" will be Bella and because his team got real with her, he needs to be a man and handle this situation the way it needs to be handled, not the way Bella thinks it should be handled. She has too many control issues to be successful too but that's another topic...I am way more pissed at Edward on this one.

Another really good chapter!!! I feel like Bella is accepting the circumstances and is willing to do what she needs to do to find happiness with or without Edward. It's really the first true glimmer of self confidence that she has displayed.  I thought she handled the situation with Embry good too. Hurt, but kept her emotions in check.  I agree about the stoplight on the 71!!! What's up with that!!! I think it's time that Charlie tells Edward what Bella has been doing for them. I don't think Bella will ever have the courage AND why the hell doesn't Edward offer his employees health insurance? He should be a part of SAG along with his employees. He worries about Bella's health but no health insurance? What a jerk!!

Does Edward feel any guilt what-so-ever in this situation when she's calling him all these names...they may have literally almost been blown up tonight but he is planning on blowing up her world all on his own. I get that he is in emotional overdrive right now but when we are in Edward's head, I just expect him to feel some remorse or be torn in someway. Even when she met Rose & he lied about who she was, there was nothing about starting a relationship based on a lie...anything!! Is Edward so emotionally damaged that he has no conscience?
