The potential that Aro knows about the project Renee was working on is highly likely. I'm sure he followed the process very carefully. Bella, herself, is like artificial intelligence. No wonder there is an entire section of the government looking for her. I'm not sure that Edward can really protect her. More answers. Could Bella have been part of an experiment when her mother was pregnant with her. That would explain why her mother was killed ( she worked out what she thought was prenatal treatment was in fact an experiment, which could be why she was killed and also why they are after Bella ( to tidy up any loose ends ). Could that be why she is protective of Edwards children, could they have been part of a similar experiment at the invitro stage of conception?
