I love this story truly. Regardless of some people's opinions, I believe Bella is scared of letting herself love Edward fully. She loves him, she knows it, but she is having a hard time putting herself out there. She's had a couple failed relationships and her friendship with Edward means the world to her. I'm glad Edward sees what he wants and is willing to risk everything to achieve it. I know Bella will come around. As a woman, most of us lead with our emotions/heart, and are terrified to put them at risk.
She just got out of a relationship where she didn't have the emotional and sexual attachment, she wants to experience that before going for the gold. I can understand that, and obviously there are a couple out there who don't. Oh well, their issues.
I can't wait for the moment that Bella's mind and heart sync themselves, because then, all I have to say is....Edward, watch out!!!

I understand Edward's worried about their friendship, but if Bella is really, truly his friend, then what is there to risk? If she loves him like she says she does, even if it's just as a friend then surely this wouldn't come between them because real, true friends forgive...they understand & care about you & your feelings too!
But to me, she HASN'T really been a very good friend, or anything else, so what's there really to lose? Sure, he might end-up with a broken heart, so it'll be a risk...but no risk, no reward. I'm glad he has a spine, heart, & brain because Bella sure doesn't!
Hopefully, it's a risk that will be worth it either way - he'll either get what he wants, or he'll finally see Bella for what/who she truly is...which in my opinion is NOT a very good person.
I STILL wish he would've got to date someone, even innocently, just to make Bella wise up about what she could be losing! I think it would've been a good eye opener for her!

UGH!!!!!!! Edward deserves happiness, appreciation, & love, & I'm afraid he's never gonna get any of that from Bella. If he has a chance with someone else, then he should go for it...not wait around for Bella to decide what she wants, or be at her beckon call. If she ever does decide she wants him, will it be for the right reasons? I highly doubt it. Too little, too late, I say!
Dating someone else gives Edward a chance at a clean break, without him being the one who gets hurt. Plus, the way Bella pushes him away, it would seem to be a welcome break for her too. Besides, why should Bella care what or who he does? She avoids & treats him like crap most of the time unless it's convenient for her, plus she doesn't seem to want him. It will all be her loss, NOT his!
