So happy to hear that you weathered the storm (actually lol). I just got back to jersey today (I live in Bergen County but was out of town during the storm) and I was SHOCKED tomsee what I came back to. My best friend lives in Rockland, NY and it's no better there. So, I'm not really mad that the kid isn't his... actually I'm not mad at all. I'm so over Katie and her selfish ways anyway. I have my favorites, but you have done such a great job developing them all that I just look forward to reading about all of them. I love Aro, although, in this story he's been a little harder to love because he's so tough on the kids. I really looking forward to getting back into his head.

Please don't get upset about the mean spirited reviews. I've been reading this whole saga since the very beginning with the first"Storm". Some people are just mean. Personally the story in my humble opinion is very true to life especially with famiies that are multifaceted. Yes I like good grammar and proper spelling but if mistakes are made, which you make very few of, so what. Sometimes I think that people that read fan fic feel they can really dish the shit because it is free and they forget about respect. I'm sorry that I don't review more. I just don't review much at all unless I really, really llike something or it moves me. So take that as a compliment. Also I usually only read completed stuff but you I have followed all the way through eagerly awaiting the next chapter. So even though I don't write I am a prolific reader and read any and all kinds of genre. I'm a retired teacher and fan fic has saved me a ton of money since I read sooo much. Don't get discouraged just keep writing and forget about those who won't even identify themselves. They are not worth getting upset about. Just follow your heart and keep writing.

It's a huge relief that Katie doesn't have that hold on Sonny. I'm surprised he isn't a bit relieved himself not to have all the baby momma drama. He's gotta know he's gonna have kids w/ Maggie at some point. I guess he feels stupid and sad for getting played by someone he once loved with his whole heart... Hopefully he'll sober up & see the silver lining.
The info re: Amelia is interesting -- I hope she ends up being another false alarm. She's TROUBLE! I loved crazy-killer Dame, and I felt bad for heartbroken, abused Dame, but he's turning into my least-favorite character. I find his hang-up on Maggie sad in a pathetic, annoying way. He is Carlile 2.0. I hope he won't be such a whiny bitch for much longer - but the story overall is so compelling I can deal with it.
I really liked the fact that Sonny & Maggie had their first fight and that Maggie let her bad ass side out. She's so Bella (every guy falls for her, Bella didn't clean / Maggie can't cook, they are both ready to pull a gun, both are sex fiends) - which is a compliment. I can't wait to see her further grow into her role as the future Boss's wife.
I also hope Kylie stays true to Gio. I remember when Edward was tempted to cheat on Bella, and made the conscious to stay true. I hope Katie will do the same. She comes off as a bit of a bubble-brain - hooking up with Joe at prom was beyond stupid - but her interactions with Edward are so fun, they really make her character come alive. They say boys marry their moms, girls marry their dads. That's certainly the case for Sonny -- and I hope it's the same for Kylie. I look forward to learning more about Gio's character and figuring out what qualities he might share with Edward.
Personally I don't mind the fact that this isn't all Bella / Edward POV. They are settled in their marriage and their business -- the kids stroes are where the action is at. Having said that - Aro was one of my favorite characters in the first 2 books - and he's been such a prick in this one, I'm happy I'll get a chance to hear what's going on in his head.
I never write such long reviews -- but I just love your story so much and have become so invested in it, I can't help but ramble on. I need some kind of Oprah-like "Storm Reading Group" :) Thanks so much for writing this story and for the frequent updates! You are awesome!!!

Lexi. I think the damion storyline and its cause and effect on all the characters is excellent. I don't trust Amelia. While she started out as a strong girl she just isn't. And yes when she analyzes it is annoying. Great chapter. I still love this story.

Poor Dame... his head is all over the place isn't it.... I'm still on the fence with Amelia... On one hand, I think she does love him and she can feel him slipping away and being young, she feels if she just holds on tight enough, she can keep him with her.... But then I also have a feeling that she's holding on too tight, like she's been told to do whatever she has to do to ensure they stay together...
I think as far as Damion goes, I think it's too late for him. He was emotionally crippled at such an important stage of his life. Scared for his brother, knowing on some level that something wasn't 'normal' with his family... then 'Lauren' happened at such a confusing time. It's a confusing age for any teen but with him being a little on the more sensitive side and maybe feeling a little abandoned and confused over his absent parents, Lauren was just too much for his psyche to handle....
I really love this story, it's so raw, so real.... I can't wait for each and every chapter you put out!!! Oh, and I loved the little 'love shout-out' CaraNo sent out for our beloved Skip!!! :-)
I'll be waiting eagerly till the next installment!

I'm increasingly worried about Dame.....something has changed in him and not for the better. He has lost feelings for Amelia. If she's pregnant or not, he will marry her? While still longing for Maggie? It seems he is becoming more like Carlisle, that his and Sonny's relationship parallels, in some way, his father's with his uncle. Meanwhile I love Sonny and Maggie together! They just seem right together!
I'm sorry about the devastation you've had to endure due to hurricane Sandy. I hope things begin to get better soon and that FEMA gets up off it's lazy ass and helps out you and others like you. I won't hold my breath, though. Thanks for the info about donating...

So happy to hear that you weathered the storm (actually lol). I just got back to jersey today (I live in Bergen County but was out of town during the storm) and I was SHOCKED tomsee what I came back to. My best friend lives in Rockland, NY and it's no better there. I just hope that by the end of this coming week things will be much better.....great post as always....I'm a little scared for Dame and Amelia (and potential issues that may arise for Edward), but sooooo happy for Sonny and Maggie (please keep them together and happy....they remind me of Edward and Bella in their early years) ....I wonder what will happen whenthe baby arrives...will Katiemlose it since her mom is gone?? Lexi....I am glad you and your family are safe. I know all about hurricanes as I live in Florida. I am origianlly from Philly and know a lot of people who live near there. It was such a big storm. I am glad your family is okay. well, this update had me very nervous with Daimon. I was hoping that he really loves Amelia, but I am not thinking so much any more. If he has to talk himself inot it, then I don' t know, but he has been through so much there is still a chance that he doesn't know what he wants himself, and he is going to medical school. That in itself is extremely stressful. I hope that he realizes what he has in Amelia because she really loves him. He better still keep his distance from Maggie because she is OFF LIMITS. Glad to hear about the Sandy relief effort! I live on Long Island - and I have friends that live on the water that lost everything. I only recently got back power and most of my friends are still doing without. It's a mess here.
