My point is while reading your story I'm always on the edge of my seat because one never knows what to expect reading your story as you are far from predictable and have taken us all on a very thrilling roller coster ride which has ups/downs, hurt/comfort and of course lots of love which is true to life sad things happen there are good and bad times. I have loved reading your story, however killing Sam was taking it a tad to far. Yes, I understand its a story and yes you have to add acton and movement into the piece but I really.. too much. Yes, Ana can go back to work but this is going to kill her. I cannot imagine losing a child but at 7mths must be torture; especially after everything else you have put Ana and her family through in this sorry.

Okay, even though I am totally emotional as I type this, I am going to come out from my lurking and post a comment about this chapter. First, it should have had a warning at the start to NOT read at work. Yeah, I read this at lunch and sobbed! I've been reading fanfiction a long, long time and I dont ever remember crying as hard as I did. It was hard to go back to work because I had such an adverse reaction to baby Sam's demise. I understand trusting an author to take the reader on a journey, and since you are such an extraordinary author, I will stay with this story, but I truly hope that Sam dying wasn't just for shock value. I hope that some how his innocent, senseless death serves a point to drive this story.
Furthermore, I am furious that Elena is dead. She needed to be held accountable for what she did. She needed to face that she killed an innocent human being...I wanted her to have to live with that while serving out a long prison sentence. She needed to face not only Christian and Ana, but feel the shame of the publics censure. Death was a cop out and too easy for her.
Like I said before, I am going to trust you as a writer, but I hope you can turn this horrible, gut wrenching sadness around because I think I'm going to be apprehensive about this story for awhile. It is literally one tragedy after another...maybe too much angst and not enough happy? Ya know, have a balance? Just my two cents. I may be in the minority, but I read fanfiction for the escape, but it becomes a bummer when the characters have to deal with way more shit than you do, lol! With all that said I hope you dont take these comments as me flamming you because I truly I appreciate you so much as a writer and the time you devote to this story and all of your faithful readers. I'm sorr, you were upset. I cried for two days writing it and for several weeks before that thinking about it. Nothing in this story is for shock value, ever. The explicite scenes are because that is Christian and Ana. it is an integrul part of their relationship. (I was accused of doing that for shock value in the past. Nothing you said.)
I really wanted Elena gone. I did't want to be tempted to have her return ever. I had a reviewer tell me that Little Sam went to heaven and Elena went straight to hell. That works I guess. The sadness will have a purpose, trust me.
There has been far too much drama going on, even I will admit that. I had people complaining that there was not enough going on. Now there is too much, but Ana's delivery date was getting close and I needed to get the storyline in.
Things will get happier. Ana is free to get a job. There is Grandma Douglas on the horizon. Mia needs toget married.
Take heart. I love these characters. They will live happily everafter.

I love this series and have enjoyed all of the juicy drama so far, but the outcome of this chapter really upset me... The violence against an innocent child and the finality of all the consequences of Elena's push have dampened my enjoyment considerably... I'm going to continue to read, but needed to express the visceral (and adverse) reaction I had. More observations: Elena got off way too easy - a long prison sentence would have been much more just. How can Sawyer & Taylor face Ana again let alone continue to work for her after failing her so spectacularly? If Ana was so repulsed by their Escala apartment (& even the parking garage) before this, what can be done short of burning the whole building down now...? How can Caroline Acton show her face again (to Ana especially) isn't she known to be Elena's business partner too? How can Ana stay in Seattle after EVERYONE she knows (and everyone else thanks to press coverage) witnessed this horrifying personal tragedy?!? I hope you can make me fall back in love this story again...

1. If you were that upset then I was able to make the story real for you. I wanted everyone to fall in love with Sam to be able to feel the loss that Christian and Ana felt. There is a purpose for the storyline.
2. Wanted Elena gone for good without the ability to return. Was getting really tired of her.
3. It was a charity event. Elena has been invited to charity events before. It was not Christian's party and not his decision who was on the guest list. He would have no right to throw her out. Big event, lots of people, she could easily blend in with the sea of tuxes and evening gowns. Taylor and Sawyer are personal security, not CIA.
4. Ana told Christian that it had been a year since the episode at Escala. Their relationship is so much stronger now and she told him she was able to go back there. Time tends to alter how things are perceived.
5. Ana's initial appointment with Caroline had been scheduled around Elena not being there, however Ana had rescheduled several times since the original appointment. Things got lost in the shuffle. Mimi is probably not the most reliable of schedulers.
6. People go through personal tragedies, but they don't usually pick up and move away because of it. It is hard for a high profile person, to find anyplace to move to escape prying eyes.
7. I hope I can too. Things will get better for these two. When one door closes.......

I walked away from reading this on FF, I know why I feel all of these emotions over these characters. It's because you bring them to life and to our hearts just as E.L did, only to tell the truth better! She had a great story but you are a better writer in all ways. Good Day E - Happy Monday to you. You continue to enchant this fan with your style and wonderful take on the storyline and characters....
This was by far the Best Line: Ana talking to Gail about Christian..."tell him I gave you orders to shove it up his ass if he didn't take it." You made me really laugh at reading that part. Just picturing the conversation first off, and then the idea of Gail actually saying it to him. well it makes you really chuckle, doesn't it?!
As for Elena.... well Heck something has to be done... Just what I feared that Evil Delusional Broom Hilda is bonkers; she made me want to puke all over her Designer Shoes! Arrrggghhh that woman.... seriously sick... Christian must see that she thinks that he still wants her because he DIDN'T have he prosecuted over Teddy's abduction.... of course a more sensible (for a lack of a better word) person would know why he didn't; but he has to remember what it would be like WHEN he couldn't find Teddy, and on top of that, she has offically now said that Ana is in the way and means it ..... shivers to think what could transpire.... So, this was a greatly needed chapter....Teddy is so cute, what a little man...."Dad, do you think I will like to sneeze when I get older?" How cute and so typical, right!? Little Grace and her 2yr old scream fits, in combination with Dada's reaction are priceless! Ana's response and comment had me in full blown giggles.... Little Grace seems to be as result driven as her Father....(she gets results and the action needed from her screams) Oh yea, Dada, will certainly find life interesting recouperating in the loving company of his growning and ever changing Family!!!!!

I post on FanFiction.net at the same time. They send email notification when a chapter is posted. Some readers sign up there to get the notifications and then come here to read. Then some read both places. FF doesn't tolerate adult material like TWCS does, so that is the only difference in the stories. You can also send private messsages from the FF site. Readers will do that as well if they want to ask me something.

Yes there is such a book and it is called Where Did I Come From. I had to do some birds and bees education years ago when I worked with kids and I thought it was sweet. Very honest, but very sweet.

Have you read Fifty shades More? It was the first one. Fifty Sahdes Clarity is the second, then there will probably be a third book.
Another good one to follow is mkmrider. She is on FF as well as having her own blog. She has good stories and one shots. She has a good story on Mia and one on Grace. Excellent.
I couldn't live without Jane's Fifty and Taylor.
