OMG seriously I am thinking about quiting this story.  This is just pissing me off.  I hate cheaters and it sounds like that is where you are going with this.

Great chapter but I'm dying for these two to make up.  I'm having the worst fear that he switched up who he sent the texts to. That the text about bad timing and blowing their chance at a takeover was sent to Bella & the one about making up was sent to Janebitch. Arghh he could he possibly be that lame, please don't let him be he's just figuring it all out:-)

Your WRONG!  Edward does not have to fuck up for you to write a great story.  You could have taken the story so many other ways but you chose to have him repeatedly hurt her.

I have to be honest and tell you I was kind of leery about reading this chap.  These two just plain make my heart ache.  I can totally see Bella's POV.  Seeing those texts and the way Edward has been treating her, would make me want to run away and nurse my broken heart.  As for Edward, I think, I mean, I hope he has finally got his head out of his ass and finally realizes what his heart is telling him. I love Lauren.  She makes me laugh when this story starts bringing me down.  No offense. LOL  This chap makes me think of the old saying, "Absense makes the heart grow fonder"  I think Bella staying away from Edward will make him really think about what he could be losing or already lost.  

As always I am riveted to my screen reading this story.

I just started reading your story and it is really good read all the chapters in one afternoon. Great story , I am just hoping they have a happy ending.

I really hope this story starts to look happy. I dont think my heart can take it. It's been a long time since a story could make me feel so many emotions. I hope Edward pulls his head out of his ass, but it seems to be firmly lodged in there. I also hope Bella realizes some of her errors too. She'll never get anywhere if she doesn't talk to him. That asshole has a lot of nerve! To think he deserves any kind of forgiveness after the way he has treated her makes me wanna bitch slap him! The man should be ashamed of himself for mindfucking & actually fucking  a 17 year old girl like he has. A child he was entrusted with by his best friend. Only to, in Bella's words, treat like a tart & send her packing so he can consort & console himself with the enemy & attempt to steal her inheritance. No matter the excuses or lies he tells himself, Edward is self righteous, self seeking prick & deserves a good old fashion nut punch! And I hope that that text is enough to wake Bella up from her Edward induced daze and she takes him for everything he has. He deserves nothing less. Grrrr... He should have kicked his own ass in that alley along with James. Cause from where I'm standing they're two pea's in a pod.

I had to read this chapter twice. I think I misunderstood Edwards' intent the first time-was Edward REALLY going to tell her how he feels for her? "But with Bella in front of him… actually here in the same room with him, he knew that he could no more give her up than he could ask her to give up Swan Publishing."

These two never get a break-they are just about to talk and the alarm goes off and Bella reads Jane's texts! I have a feeling that something bad(hopefully not TOO bad) is going to happen to Bella in Italy. And Edward is her next of kin....

My heart really hurts for Bella- she must feel so betrayed- even more than before. I kinda hope she tells Rose about Jane's texts- Rose will kick both Jane's and Edward's asses.

I'm curious to see how the heck in the coming chapters Edward is going to redeem himself sufficiently in Bella's eyes, to get a HEA with her!!??! I want to tell her to go get herself some in Italy and forget about that knob but the way they render each other almost pathetic at times it will never happen.Its so good I can't wait for more, but I am so frustrated at them both after every chapter that I want to stop reading it! You are good :)

ok sooo i just read some of the reviews from this chapter and im wondering if im interpreting things differently because i think Edward was actually going to admit to Bella he wanted to be with her before the car alarm went off. I dont think he slept with Jane either and it didnt seem like he was gonna try to convince her to sell. Im on pins and needles waiting for them to finally get together and Edward to get his head out his arse. Quite an angsty story. Good job

I love this story, but can I just reiterate what a total arse, and eat up with the dumb ass Edward can be sometimes..... well, actually all the time... sleeping with Jane, I hate him right now.....Oh and I am very much Team Edward all the way, but trust me, in this story.... not so much........

My God Edward.  You kissed Jane? I don't what he thinks the definition of cheating is,  but that is cheating in my book.  If he seriously wants to persue a relationship with Jane, which we all know he has his head up his ass and is using Jane as an excuse, he needs to be honest with Bella. That means taking Rose's advice.  As for Bella, she is trying to delay the inevitable.  She doesn't want to hear what Edward has to say because how much more can he break her heart?  And, I do want Edward and Bella together, but not until he realizes he's an ass and needs to clean up the fucking mess he's made. I want Bella to make him work for it.

OK Edward is getting on my very last nerve!! I want us all to stand in line and smack him repeatedly. I hope Bella see's through him to the selfish asshole that he is. He has already cheated on Bella and is already planning on doing it more. If I recall correctly when he and Bella had the conversation about her finding someone else to have sex with his response was "No you're my wife". Seems to be a double standard since he is cheating now. I feel sorry for Bella because although she was being a brat isn't that what most 17 year old girls do? Edward really screwed the pooch on this one and she may never get over the way he treated her by having sex with her and leaving without saying anything. She has to be confused by his behavior and I know that I am. Hopefully he can redeem himself but I hope Bella makes him crawl through broken glass for miles before she forgives him for the way he has treated and ignored her since her parent's death.

Sounds to me that he's still contemplating having some sort of personal thing go on with Jane, probably to try to get him over Bella (never works) and kissing is still cheating. I just want to hug Bella after what he has put her through, that said I am fairly frustrated with them both tho I must admit. He is so selfish that he had to assault James to make himself feel better cos what good will that do Bella?
