another great chapter, cant wait to read more.

Bella needed to tell Renee and Lauren off for years. It just happended to all come together on the same day. Edward didn't know what to think of it, but it seemed he found it hot as hell. Bella and Edward should burn off some of that excess energy and stay hidden in their room for awhile. They never seem to get enough alone time. I think that is one of their major problems. They don't get to reduce their stress and show each other how much they need each other enough. Taking care of the kids is great, but couple time is more important. They need to make sure they make time for themselves. They will always make time for the kids. They are great parents.

That was great and a day in their life much needed. Almost normal! lol

I love how you detail every emotion and thought because it does put you right in their moment. Very understandable. I think Edward is pretty unique and love him madly (do not tell Bella!). Though his words of 'just one more' scares me because per usual those are just that, 'last words'. Always wanting that one more hit, one more payoff and they usually get whacked. I know you won't do this to our beloved Edward but it still makes me shiver.

Bella is handling her position quite nicely. She's got respect and everyone listens to her (even Hanna). Alex will be okay and this plot to corner Carlisle is nul and moot at this point and I think Alex realises this. Dumb plan anyway. Like Bella said, immature. Karen is a piece of work. Old time ways for sure. Keep the woman barefoot and pregnant. Ugh I always hated that term. And yeah. The men marry out of their culture, it's allowed nowadays. Funny 'cause my Momma told me not to marry an Italian man cause they always compare you to their Momma's and they're spoiled. My Dad had a totally different opinion of that!!

Good job and your work is never boring, don't forget I said that. ;) Thanks so much for all your devotion to these two characters. I love them dearly.

Interesting girl talk.  I forgot about Alex's scheme.   Will Carlisle fess up about Theresa?  I don't know why people have issues with Alex.  I really enjoy her character.  So what's up with Elena?   Nervous about being around the Cullen's?

I know I always say this..........but when your story is done (which I will miss immensely) you should consider pulling and publishing.   Could make it big:-). I saw 3 patients today that were reading Fifty Shades of Gray because everyone is talking about "christian Gray"

I enjoyed the chapter.  It's nice that things are slow and normal for them right now.  After everything, they all need slow and normal.

I personally really liked this chapter. There was not a  lot of drama. But that's ok. Quiet is nice sometimes.  And Bellla keeping Edward happy. That was great. They needed to re-connect!! ;).    As always, love the story and look forward to the next updates!! 

Great update! The girls were funny, hoping for strippers! I am excited for the time jump and to read about everyone's lives!!

Slow it down and make it "boring" as much as you like; for the first time ever, I'm sad when I see an update because I know that's one fewer chapter I have to look forward to. Plus, I admit, I'm a little worried some character is gonna die... but please don't change your plan on that account. Even when I cringe (Bella punching Lauren), somehow, it winds up making me love the story more. You pull this and publish it, I'll buy it.

I so loved this update, bringing in the younger girls ALex and Elena  and she can look back and catch glimpses of herself.  i love it.  Edward and the guys at the arcade, cute.  I worry about Lukes soon to be wife, she was acting fishy as well as scared out of her mind.  I think we all understand about the story line and timeline you have !!!!!   Love ya Lexi

Stopped reading for awhile wasn't sure if I wanted to continue.  Decided earlier today to catch up... Have the feeling by the end of the evening I will be up to date and waiting for the next chapter... So, glad I came back..  Thanks as always for the wonderful story...  Had it been any other author I probably wouldn't have come back but your stories are some of my favorites... 

I ended up laughing my butt off but let's get to the beginning. Alex and her immature ramblings. I hope everyone else can see she really is an honest person with a good heart. She's been protected all her life and now she venturing out. It's confusing for her. Bella is a good friend to her. Calms her down when she gets flustered and gives her good sound advice when it comes to Carlisle. I think it will take a while before everyone believes Carlisle's heart belongs to only Alex. It's time for him.

Dinner was a blast!!!! Yes Renee is cookoo, kabotz and drunk but she sure made that dinner spark didn't she??? She's got a cold blue heart and I can't tell you how happy I was when Bella grabbed her hair and made her listen to her. That woman is missing out on life, her own family. She won't get it anywhere else. Fool. I felt really bad for Derek, Renee never told him. His son got offed cause he was stupid and Derek is trying to make up lost time to Bella. I'd give him a hug.

Now Lauren Hell Yeah! Punched that bitch hard, roll around cat fight. Awesome!!! I'd be all over that scene if I were there. Us Italian girls don't play nice with flirty bitches. na ah, no way. Respect, give it, earn it.

I snuck downstairs to see what the kids were doing. I heard them before I even walked into the room.

They were all laughing while the movie played. Sonny was sitting in a chair, holding Katie's hand as they whispered, these huge smirks on their faces.

I held my heart and stared, but Dame caught me.

"Dinner ready, Mommy?" He jumped in front of me.

I held his cheek. "Almost."

"We weren't doing anything," Sonny said.

I widened my eyes. "Never said you were . . . you sound guilty, though."

He tried and failed miserably at not smiling back at me.



"Just tell her, or better yet have Edward do it," Rosalie urged. "He has that—no nonsense way of speaking. She'll comply out of fear."

The coward I am did consider it.

"Eddie is so not scary anymore," Alice laughed.

"Wanna make a bet?" Rose fanned her face, the wine making her flushed. "He keeps all his guys in line. Renee'll shake in her boots."


"No. You did—you did it all! You cheated on your husband, and I had to suffer for it! Instead of owning what you did, instead of being a woman, you cowered—you had him punish me for your mistakes!" I ranted.

"You little—"

"Mom, come on." Emmett tried to usher her away.

"You had to stick your nose in where it didn't belong!" She kept going, getting closer, and I blocked her from my husband, pushing her hand and that finger away from him.

"Get your finger out of his face!" I shouted. "You don't get to talk to him like that, you hear me?"

"Bella." Edward stepped forward, placing me behind himself. It seemed we both wanted to defend each other. "Renee, I think you need to take that walk. We all need to relax. Derek—"

"Don't tell me what to do. You're not the boss of me!" And she pushed Edward, planted her hands on his chest and just pushed. My husband didn't move. He stood there like a wall, making sure I couldn't get to her.



"I just want to talk to her. Emmett will be there, Derek too."

Edward looked around us. "What can't you say in front of me?"

"Nothing—God." I was exasperated again. "Come if you want." I'd hated to admit that I only wanted to go out there so that I could maybe smack her mouth, hurt her in some way, and Edward would never let me.


"Carlisle forged some paperwork . . . DJ is the newest witness against Luke."

"What?" I was confused.

"C got it from one of his Fed buddies—some fuck on the take." Edward looked around us. "He's in WitSec."

"Witness protection." I had a short chuckle. "That's original. Why not just say he ran off with some chick?"

"Because . . . a man like Derek needs evidence. Carlisle fudged the 302 report, placing all of DJ's info on it. It worked. He sure as hell won't be bothering Luke anymore, nor would Derek bring it to his attention." Edward rushed out, his lips touching my ear.

"What about his brother?"

Edward leaned away. "I said I couldn't help him with that one, that I didn't know, but that he should leave it alone. Trust me; he understood. He's also grateful I won't give Luke the info about DJ."

"Is he . . . okay?" I shrugged, keeping an eye on Lauren.

He rolled his eyes. "Do you really care?"

I didn't reply to that.

"He'll rest easier believing his son isn't dead—that his son is doing the right thing. Regardless of anything, in Derek's eyes, DJ got himself out of trouble—out of debt and out of New Jersey. He didn't appreciate being practically strip-searched in my office, but . . . I had to make sure he wasn't wired for sound. Understand?"

I nodded. "I do . . . you did what you had to, what you knew would work." I grasped his hand to place a kiss on his knuckles, while I willed what was left of my frustration to leave.

"Get outta the car," Edward shouted, pulling away from me. "Lemme do it!"

"I got it!" Lauren hollered back, her tire hitting the curb.

"You get one more try, Mallory." My husband held up a finger, smirking.

Lauren giggled, making eyes, like they were flirting or some shit.

That bothered me, but…

My mind just kept wandering back to my mother, and I needed an outlet. I needed another glass of wine, some laughs, to go back in and spend time with my loved ones.

When that dumbass finally parked her car, I felt a bit easier.


"You look good—"

She was still talking to him, and she said the wrong thing at the wrong time. It was just too much.

In hindsight, what she said truly wasn't bad, but that bitch had it coming.

All those years I had to watch her flirt with my husband, compliment him . . .

All those years she'd sworn she'd kick my ass . . .

Fried calamari flew everywhere after I punched her in the jaw. She grabbed ahold of my hair, and I tackled her to the ground in our foyer.

"Bitch!" She slapped at my face.

"Skank!" I punched her once more, and then reached for her neck to squeeze. "Fucking whore—look at him again! I fucking dare you!"

"Holy fuck!" I heard Edward shout, and then I was lifted off of her.

"Schifosa!" I gave her an Italian salute, moving my hand below my chin.

"What has gotten into you?" Edward squeezed my arm so hard.

"Oww." I panted, and, needless to say, that really calmed me.

Once again, I had an audience for my atrocious behavior. Aro was helping Lauren off the floor, and it looked like everyone else didn't know what to make of it.

Lauren was crying…

"I thought you could beat my ass?" I widened my arms, welcoming her.

"Cut it out," Edward spat.

I folded my arms across my chest and shut my mouth.

"She all right?" he asked Aro.

Aro was trying not to laugh. "Yeah, she'll live."

"You're crazy!" Lauren shouted at me.

"So, what?" I just couldn't give a fuck anymore; however, I was very happy no children were around to see that.

"That was wicked." Jasper gave me a high-five and so did his wife.

"Bitch had it coming," Alice commented.

I nodded, agreeing with her.

"We're coming to Sunday dinners more often," Jasper laughed.

FANTASTIC!!! Thank god she finally clocked that bitch!!

A little sexing can fix anything. Renee so deserved that and Lauren is a bitch that deserved a beat down.
