I've just found your story and have really enjoyed reading it. I like that Bella started off in the position of power (as Edward's supervisor), as it created some unique and interesting dynamics.

You just took sexy banter to a whole new level.
Loved this line, "If it’s a challenge he wants, it’s a challenge he’ll get." I think that's exactly what Edward wants, a challenge.
This thought of Bella's worries me, "As long as the oasis is right here, why not?" An oasis isn't real. Apparently, she doesn't believe "this" is real. That's so sad. Jacob and Leah messed her up so badly. For all her outer bravado, she has no confidence that anyone would want her for herself.
This is another great line--"Small, insignificant questions answered in mirth, and sometimes big, heavy questions dealt with gently." The small questions often mean so much. The fact that they are now handling the tough stuff 'gently' is very revealing.
You wrote an amazing chapter. My one hope is that if Edward does go to Forks with Bella for the wedding that somehow, someway, Jacob and Leah get their comeuppance. Not for falling in love, but for being dishonesty with Bella and breaking her. They totally deserve a bit of pain and suffering. I hope Edward can help Bella deliver that. (I hope that doesn't make me sadistic.)

Nice sexy time of these two lovebirds. Although I liked the beginning with the kitchen scene, I like more the bedroom, where Bella has some kind of epiphany. They both lied to each other and hurt the other. I just hope that they can forgive each other the deceit.
