What a great surprise. I just checked last night to see if there were any updates on this story as it is one of the best I have read. This is exactly the chapter that I felt that was needed. I was so curious as to what Peter was going to tell Bella. And I am really looking forward to seeing Carlisle in "James' room". I think that they should let Esme have a few hits and them Jasper should take over for what was done to Bella over the years. I am also really glad that you toned down what was going to happen at the ceremony...I don't think I could have handled the whole nude in front of men in her family thing (don't know why, but it seems so much worse than strangers). I am hoping that you are on a roll now and that it won't be as long as last time for an update. It is excellent and I am looking forward to next time. p

To your question No they don't. A male mate won't leave their mate unless its against their will ie they could get hurt. The companion is mainly for those cases or when the female needs a break from her mate. That way she can take a break and still be protected

I am absolutely enjoying your story, but find that (I think just like Bella in fact) I am sometimes having trouble seeing what is acceptable and what not. For example, at the beginning she was taught to behave a certain way and that she would be punished otherwise, and yet Jasper doesn't punish her at all and seems in fact happy when she is acting out a bit, or going against his wishes (when she insisted that she hugs Emmet)... so if I was in Bella's place, I'd be totally confused as to how to act. Also that the girls are sharing everything sounds great, but I would have thought that Jasper wouldn't want that... possessive as he is... or maybe it's different as she talks with females...

I was a little hesitant to read this story after some others that I have started but could not take the abuse in them. However, I kept seeing this recommended in favorite lists (I always check authors I like as they usually don't lead me astray), that I decided to try it out. Your story is very original and actually has a good story line. Hopefully, you will let Jazz pound the crap out of Carlisle as I find an undercurrent of something dark where Bella is concerned.
