I get that Bella is a teenager and is childish however she is a daughter of a member of the mafia. She is not the daughter of a auto worker or a farmer. There is no way she doesn't know how violent that world can be. Woman in that world essentially have no voice. There are serious consequences for your behavior. A slap from a person who deals with things like extortion, illegal gambling, arms dealing,prostitution, drug/human trafficking is nothing compared to what they could potentially do to you. If teenage a civilain has some idea of what can happen to you there is no way Bella wouldn't know. Self preservation is not exclusive to adults. Plus she is no saint. A "teenager" could have cared less that a man lost his life trying to help her. She sat in the back of the car sulking, having a pity party after she saw a man get his head blown off.
