Pretty much the same thing I thought of all the other chapters, it wasn't needed or could have been handled with an outtake. I'm really not interested in a chapter of their phone conversations either after the last 7 chapters of nothing. I've been trying to stick with this story because I think you are a really amazing writer, but after 8 chapters the story really hasn't even gotten started. I mean, is the last chapter going to be them meeting for the first time while masked during their test? I really don't understand why there would be all these chapters of unnecessary back story if the main story is them getting together, having to overcome crazy exes and finding their groove together. Is this story supposed to just be about the path that led them together and it finishes when they finally meet?
If you trimmed the fat off of the last 7-8 chapters you could have said what was needed to be said in a chapter or two. I'm not saying we haven't learned important things but those things could have easily been handled without making them into their own chapters and without all the filler around them. So I guess I'm really just confused on what the plot of this story is supposed to be because so far, it's not matching up with the summery at all. I just don't feel it should take 8 chapters to get there. I'm guessing that the next chapter is going to be all phone convos and then maybe the chapter after that they meet? I guess I'll put this story on alert and maybe check back in in a month. I'm going to stop reviewing now since I've already said this a few times. I already feel bad, I don't want to harp on things.

Well... what can I say to alllllll of reviews? I guess nothing but the truth, which is... I´m sorry you feel that way. I never really knew how much pressure it was to be the actual writer; it´s so easy to read a story and give my opinion whether it be good or bad. I´m seeing now that it is not so easy to please everyone. To my amazement and utter gratitude this story has recieved over 400 reviews, thanks to people like you who take the time to let me know what they think. That being said, I would be stir crazy, not to mention canceling my real life, if I had to conform the story to suit the preferences if all 400 reviewers; I´m not even going to factor in those who choose to read and not review.
I don´t want to lose ~thank you for pointing out my typo in the previous chapter, but I´m human and I make mistakes just like everyone else; even published authors;)~ any readers, but if you feel the story is not for you, then I will have to live with that loss. While I have some complaints, I have more support in my vision for where I want the story to actually go, because you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can´t please all the people all the time. I also decided not to try.
I so appreciate of your positive and not so positive reviews. As a whole that just fuels my attempt to strive to be a better writer, but also reminds me why author´s publish finished books and not chapter by chapter. Lol! I don´t feel the summary is misleading in anyway and the story is moving exactly where I always intended for it to go. For example, I´m reading one story and it´s in chapter 17 and has yet to get to the prologue. I stick with it because I´m enjoying the ride. I´m not a wham bam... thank you ma´am kind of writer. I love the slow build, because in the end it´s much more explosive, but that´s just me
I hope I´ve covered everything and if you wish to stick around, we´ll be more than happy to have you, but if not... I understand completely and would never hold it against you. I will go as far as to say, I will be sticking with my original plan for the story, afterall, I can only write what´s in my head and not what´s in someone elses. Lol! Um...no. Maybe when the story gets going.
I really hope the next chapter is them meeting. I'm really not interested in her training with Rose or her going home to Forks to tell her family about Jacob. It's not important to the story. It's easily solved by doing an outtake for scenes with Rose or having Bella think throw away comments about "I did x,y or z like Rose taught me". An outtake might be fun but I have no interest in reading it as a chapter in the story since it doesn't really matter. She's just going to learn basics, nothing plot or character defining. She can do the same with off hand remarks about her parents reactions to the Jacob situation. Unless Jacob is going to come back to cause problems with them, we really don't need to know how they react period. Hell, even if he does come back all we'd really need to know is if they react poorly or not. Not really interesting in having a whole chapter of them just talking on the phone either, it might have been fun without all the other stuff that's gone on. I can see that being a good outtake too, or a small flashback during their first scene. None of the above need their own chapters at the very least. If you are taking two weeks to update and those are each given their own chapters that's a month and a half until we get to the actual story.
I also really hope it doesn't take forever for them to figure out each others identities. That just is going to take up more time to getting to the good stuff of them being together and whatever antagonist is going to come along (I assume Tanya and maybe Jacob). That's where the fun and interesting stuff is.

Honestly? I think it was all completely unnecessary. I don't think we need this information to have an understanding on the current time line of the story. If anything it could have been done in a paragraph or two of a flash back in the main time line. There is a lot of unimportant fluff and superfluous stuff. I actually believe that about the last 5 chapters as well. And all the "I'm gonna tell her...no I'm not going to tell her...I'm going to tell her" got old last chapter. Alices point of view is not necessary to the story at all.
"As much as I want to get to the first scene, we can´t rush it; to make the story build properly we just can´t take it any faster."
Don't take people saying "hurry up" as being mean, take more as constructive criticism. The story could have been written so 6 pages of back story weren't necessary. People click on a link that says:

People click to read about Edward and Bellas fledgling relationship and it's hard to want to stick around through 6 chapters of back story and point of views from Tanya, Alice and anyone else that's not Edward and Bella. Alice really didn't need a whole chapter to herself. What makes it so hard to want to try to stick around through all this is it takes time to update. A week or two (sometimes more depending on the author) goes by and suddenly it's a month or more before you get to the parts of the story you actually are interested in reading ie: Bella and Edward trying to be together.
I think part of what makes it more frustrating with this story is the fact that you are a great writer. People don't want to give up on the story because it's difficult to find great authors like yourself but it gotten boring. Thankfully I just came upon your story and haven't had to wait for updates but once I finish next chapter, if it doesn't get down to brass tacks I don't know if I want to wait around for weeks for another update that doesn't get into the heart of the story. I think in an effort to give your story depth and texture you've given us way to much set up to the point we no longer care about what happened in the past. The only two relevant things from the past I can see are Edward breaking up with Tanya and Bella and the Jacob wedding debacle. That could have been told in one chapter, both stories together. Everything else that fluffs all that out is unimportant filler. If there are other small tid bits, slide them in as a short flashback during the current story line, they didn't need whole chapters in other peoples POVs describing them.
I'm not trying to be mean or bitchy by any means, just trying to give an honest opinion. The subject matter is near and dear to my heart and I think you are doing a wonderful job portraying it. I just want to get it going! :)

The truth? I have to agree with everyone else, the story is dragging. I just want it to hurry up already to get to the point of them meeting. I mean, back story is nice but you've made the backstory the main story by dragging it on for so many chapters. I think it would have been much better told if it was done in short increments during flashbacks during the current time line. No one really wants chapter after chapter of backstory and nothing else. But I've still got a few more chapters to go! Hopefully things pick up more in the next chapter.

WHOA, descriptive and informative chapter. Leah is a piece of work and Jacob is just toxic to the bone. Sue is so in denial that she may need some counseling with the way she views of her daughter. She hasn't figured out that she can't go back and grow a crazy adult or someone pretending to be a grown up. Charlie is cool though, I like his persona. He's in reality and act as such. However he should get in touch with his military self and kick Jacobs a*s! Like you said Seth is a awesome kid and its sad that he is caught in this cross fire of a mess. I hope Bella continue to stay in touch with him. He is so insecure now and he really is easy to love. He has lost a lot in his little time in the world. Ok, now for Bella, she did do a kick a*s defense for herself and of course you know she has to be hurting. But thankfully everyone else after her gets to get sloppy seconds, third and so on with Jacob. She has to know that life is about to get so much better with her new lifestyle. Yeah I was definitely dissapointed that the phone call didn't happen in this chapte. But I understand you needed a filler chapter. Actually Seth didn´t talk like a four year old, Leah attempted to speak to him like he was a toddler, but that´s it. As far as the blanket and finger sucking go, that was true! I think my cousin was maybe 14 or 15 when he stopped sucking his fingers and it was actually a sweater and not a blanket, that his mother still has to this day and he´s 33! It looks like shredded wheat, but never the less it does exits! Lol! Yeah, sometimes we tend to drag things on, I didn´t get rid of my son´s pacifier until my mom wouldn´t stop her constant nagging! I'm LOVIN your story, but strongly disliked this chapter...I undersstand it is nice backstory, but I was primed to follow Edward and Bella progressing. I woudl hve been fine with some backstory, but not an entire chapter. Love our writing, and the story, but with all due respect, I felt cheated after finishing this chapter.

I have been loving the story but this just seems to be filler because I can't imagine that you intend on bring Jacob back into Bella's life and being Charlie is unaware of her BDSM tendancies I can't see all of this being relevant to the story. Get back on track and continue you great story.

Sorry to inform you, but Jacob Black is now unfortunately tied to the family with this baby. And now that Bella´s in Seattle, she wants to reconnect with Charlie. Throw that cutie Seth in the mix, she won´t be able to resist. Yes she is getting into BDSM, but she still will continue normal familiar relationships, one has nothing to do with the other. Another excellent chapter. Have to say i was a little pissed that Bella left instead of them sending Leah and Jacob packing but i understand why.
