I was so unhappy last chapter when BElla asked Edward to let her go even though I knew that it HAD to happen. Neither of them was in a healthy place for a relationship to grow. As this chapter progressed, I hoped and hoped that it would work out the way I wanted it to, even though I was steeling myself for disappointment. I didn't know if Bella would ever feel comfortable enough with Edward and all the past they shared to move forward. Thank you for the happy almost ending. I feel very hopeful now.
The novel idea sounds good. I would love to see new material and more backstory. I'm so glad that more of the authors are branching out like this. It feels weird when I read familiar situations with new character names, but after a while I get used to it, so I say go for it - I'll buy one!

I couldn't get the stupid picture to copy correctly. it was supposed to be a banner for Texas A & M, Bella's dream. Everything else will be in the epilogue. I didn't want to have her thinking in detail about Edward so it remained an anticipation to the end to see if he would be her date.

Carlisle is a psychotic asshole and I am glad that bastard is dead.
Well now it makes sense why Bella's aunt ans uncle never came for her.
I understand why Bella wants to be let go. She's never really had her own life because it turns out that Carlisle was still controlling it when she was in Phoenix. She deserves her own life and to live finally making decisions for herself, but it is killing me that she wants to leave Edward. I'm kind of hoping that its just a final test that Bella is putting him through. That him letting her go without consequence would be the proof that Bella needs to know that Edward wants her to be happy even if he hurts himself in the process. Or I really hope that Bella goes back soon.

It breaks my heart to hear she left Edward. It must have broke his heart as well but I know it was THE only solution for Bella. Bella suffered too much to continue as if nothing happened. I can't believe its almost over. Well I loved this chapter because there was a lot of closure and new beginnings. Bella does get her HEA it just came later down the road but she has been through so much. I'm so proud of the Cullens for changing their lives. I am especially proud of Edward for letting her go with all her inheritances to make a life that is truly her own. Bravo you did a wonderful job wrapping up this story. Thank you for your story, I have enjoyed reading it. Yes, enjoyed, not the brutal parts, of course, but the loving and the truthful parts. Control comes in many forms and is often unrecognized by both the controller and the controllee, because they call it other names and rationalize it away. So I understood your story of extreme control as a way to really see the domination for what it is. But as Edward peeled back the control, he did find that there were nuances that needed to be examined as well.
I am so glad that they have been able to get past the abusive control and refind each other, because there was always real love and caring there, even when it was hidden. I am looking forward to your epilogue.

She needs time to grow and Edward... well, just because edward's dead... he needs to find himself too. Carlislse is no longer there but he still doesnt know how to funtion and in society at that.
She needs to leave the Cullens behind I think....

Can I just say just when I thought I knew the direction you were taking this you still constantly blow me away!!! This is my all time favorite fan fic and I've recommend it to everyone who wil listen to me. I'm glad you're not in fanfiction.net anymore, you're story is too high a caliber to me mixing with some of the crap people put out! Anyways, I'm so sad this is nearing the end but I already have plans to re-read it!! Keep up the good work, you are a fantastic author!
