I'm sorry. i thought I reviewed this some time ago. I enjoyed the two boys honeymoon. You have a way with the sex scenes like no other. I love your descriptions -- they're both erotic and humorous.
I've been behind with Twilight fics between RL and another fandom, i was trying out a action story when I thought of your fics. You are an exceptional writer.

Wow thank you for such a wonderful review.
I know what you mean about RL and other fandoms. RL and loss of muse has prevented me completing Hostage Chicago Takedown. However, I promise I will not leave it unfinished. I have been reading a LOT of NCIS ffn recently, along with Criminal minds and LOTR. I am writing a little NCIS one shot, between RL.
I have also been doing a complete rewrite of Dakota Skies. I have been converting it to the 3rd person, removing duplicated scenes and adding new ones. There are a few sex scenes in that, that turn comedic, too. I have one other conversion project -Rainbow Airlines is having a rewrite to the 3rd person, more characters introduced and having a return flight added. I have 3 Original fictions in the works, a comedy near completion, a ghost story just started and another venture into history, in the planning stages.
The short story was published as part of a Dreamspinners Anthology called Don't Try This At Home. My story is called Boys, Toys and Carpet Fitters by Taylin Clavelli.
So as you can see, even though I have not been around ffn much, I have been busy. Roll on 2014.

Ideally, you need to read the other two stories first, but this will stand on its own, at a push.

This was such a difficult chapter to read due to content. I'm sure reality is worse than what's written here. This took some great creative writing. Your details are phenomenal. I was tense whlie reading Edward's experience and witness of the murder in the drug house. I was reminded of New Jack City. And I'm still in awe of your Chicago neignborhood info. It's like you were born and raised there.

It was a difficult scene to write, but unfortunately necessary. I get a running picture in my head and try my best to translate it to the page. Your compliments are most appreciated.
As for my origins, I am a Brit. But the USA is one of my favorite places to visit, and I have many friends who live there. I have had a stop off in Chicago, but did not get the chance to stay for long, and it was raining. However, when I google places, I do like to get down to street level.

I tend to write seat of my pants style, and I couldn't let the boys die. I just started working out the fitness of the characters and how far they could get in what time. The rest fell into place.

That was more of a shocker than Felix being CIA. That was some bomb you dropped there. Ingenious!
I almost hated seeing this story end. I loved the camaraderie of the group. I also loved that Marcus met his end. The action was fast paced and well written.

Like you, I am sad to see the end of the boys. Hence, leaving it open ended for a possible adventure or two in the future. Nevertheless, the Hostage series has definitely finished, even though The Pack may continue in some individual adventures.
