Court intrigues!  I can never decide whether it was more dangerous in those days to be a lowly commoner or a royal or member of the nobility!  One had to worry about starving and the other about a chess game of life and death proportions!  I feel for Rosalie here.  Given those accusations then, she would have been sent off to live the rest of her life in a nunnery!  Such a waste...and so  unjust after showing such bravery as to comer forward!  Lovin' Emmett here though.  I'm hoping for some lovely, romantic scenes between those two.  Once more you've given us a winner and left us needing more!  

Sorry I skipped a review!  Busy on this end, but I loved the action and intrigue in the last chapters!  Let's hear it for Emmett!!  I did have my fingers crossed for him.  Okay, the names...well, if Alice's baby is a girl, my suggestions are: Jalica Grace  (pronounced Jalisa)  The name is a combination of Jasper and Alice's first names.  If Edward and Bella have twins, for a son: Edric Jacob Antony (Edric means blessed ruler in old english) and if they have a daughter:Esabell Alice.  Again the first name is a combination of Esme and Bella.  Most royals then and now have at least 2 names (i.e. Prince Charles, Charles Phillip Arthur George)  I can't wait to find out if the babies are boys/girls or a combo!

Perfect names and a lovely chapter!  I've enjoyed this story tremendously.  Hopefully, Rosalie and Emmett will make another appearance before the end!

Your ending could not have been more perfect!  It reminds me of the ending of "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir".  In the end, he comes for her and age drops away leaving only eternity.  Thank you for a perfectly marvelous story!

I think ,fight scenes aree like ballet...you choreograph them.  Move for move, line for line, exchange for exchange.  You did really well.  Repetative works here in the way you used it.  Bella has not killed before and is trying hard to avoid it.  It's a bit like her trying to talk him down from a window ledge.   Whatever needs saying, however many times iy needs to be said.  Doing that only makes the scene far more believable than it would be without it.  I think the chapter is terrific!  And the end fit in perfectly.

I love this!  Bella's reactions make perfect sense for someone who's given up on love and life being fair.  Keep everyone at a distance and you won't get hurt.  Aaah!  But here comes Jasper!

Great update.  I love Bella with Carlisle!  Let's see...the talisman...no idea who sent it, but I think the reason Bella never mentioned it was simple...she forgot and with Carlisle her mind is on them!  Edward just irritates her.

Great action and a wonderful chapter!  I can't believe that Bella is gone for good.  I have this feeling that if Carlisle and the others are endangered by the Volturi, Alice will see and Bella will hand herself over to them to save them.  Maybe then Alice will understand.  I ramble....  Again, I loved it!

I thought the love scene was everything it should be:sexy, alluring, gentle, and still more than hot.  Gracious!  I think I'll go to sleep smiling tonight right along with Bella!

Wonderful!  I discovered this and readf it two sittings.  (I'm a mom.)  I did love the revenge Emmett took and what truly intrigued me was a line several chapters back.  Bella told Emmett that each of the women had their own nightnmares in the past.  Exploring the others in different stories would be fascinating!

Rather unique.  The story is in many ways sweet and fascinating.  It will be interesting to see where you go with it!  Can't wait!

I think Carlisle is on a roll!  It would be good for relatios and the truce if they were to see that he is able to give life and fight to save it.  I think the baby will be a boy...I don't know, two of each I guess!  Loving the story!

I have to let you know how very much this piece means to me.  In 1968, when I was 11 years old, one of my classmates, scout mates, and friends, Janet was diagnosed with leukemia.  At the time, there was nothing that could be done.  She died within days of her last day at school and just as her parents were being told her diagnosis.  The doctor gave her 6 months.  They reentered her hospital room only to find that she had died as they spoke in the hall.  She was 11 years old and in school 3 days previously.  My friends and I have lived full lives at this point...in our 50's, wives, mothers and still friends to a little girl born too soon to save.  So much has changed in these decades!  The cure rate now is approx. 97%!  There is not a day that goes by that we don't remember her with fondness, love, and sorrow for OUR loss .  On her behalf and all of ours', I would like to thank you for bringing Janet and so many others into the 21st century.  Your story does them proud and for them, I say thank you.  You have no idea how many lives you've touched and possibly saved in printing the warning signs.  Early treatment can make all the differnce in the world!  Thank you! 

This chapter, the journal entries in particular, are stunningly touching and sad.  Wonderful stuff!

The end of this chapter broke my heart!  So smart, so tough, so together...and so damaged!  Luckily, there's a Jasper on her horizon!

He's ba-a-ack!!  Loving this story so much.  So many possibilities!!

Once more you more than deliver.  Experiencing the drive-by from both perspectives was a genius move.  Bella may think she's tough, but streetwise, worldly Jasper really IS!  They saw and experienced things differently.  I'm not so sure it's Edward doing all this.  Tanya is my far more likely suspect.  I love that Emmett caught Bella and Jasper about to go at it.  It's smart and throws awrench into the works.  The one thing Jasper has going for him is the trust Emmett has placed in him.  They have a history and that may be the only thing to keep Jasper's oh so sexy butt out of a sling right now!  Knowing him as well as he does, trusting him that much, and knowing that Jasper almost died saving his sister may temper his ire somewhat.  Amazing chapter!  From beginning to end it kept us going and makes us think.

Now THAT'S a cliffhanger!  I'm hoping it's Jasper or even Emmett behind her.  Let's see... yes, I still think Emmett's girl is Rose.  What was on the nightstand?  Emmett's cufflinks.  Bella wants to use them as evidnce when she confronts her brother.  Edward is WAY too possesive for my personal taste.  I'm on Team Jasper!  Your Edward is a great antagonist though.  Loved this chapter by the way...there's a first, hmm?  (Not!)  You should see the smile on my face when I see the update listed in my e-mail... It's better than eating a snack, so thanks for that too, by the way!  I'm looking forward to lots more smiles! 

Damn!  You are an amazing writer!  This chapter was nothing short of awesome.  It had everything - action, emotion, intrigue, and let us not forget ...romance!  Onbehalf of your readers just let me say, "THANK YOU SO-O MUCH!"  I read it twice because I loved it so much!!  Ideas?  Let's see... the fact that someone showed up when Emmett was away on business makes me think either of two things.  1) They're after something Emmett's working on business wise and it's in the house, or 2) Edward is trying to "get at" Emmett through Bella.  I still think that Emmett's love life is and has been close at hand.  And yes!  Lemonaide or lemon anything, please!  Kudos on a chapter that is more than amazing!

Another amazing update!  I loved that you brought that lowering your guard in situations like this can be deadly!  Professional bodyguards take this VERY seriously...well, the great ones.  The story Bella told Peter about her father...my how the plot does thicken!  My favorite line?  I cracked up: "Who pissed in your corn flakes?"  So good...and so perfect!  The romance at the end was outstanding!  The flowers?  He remembers!  Let's see, How should Emmett find out and what would his reaction be?  I can picture him coming home unexpectedly at night and overhearing Rose and Char and their girltalk.  Rose is rather open about discussing it and almost like Bella's mother in her reactions, "My baby has grown up!"  Initially, I think Emmett will want to beat the crap out of Jasper!  Remember, he has been much more than a brother to her.  I can see Jasper laying it out for him forcefully...I'm sorry you don't like it but tough!  I love her!  And I'm going to make damn sure NO ONE touches her!!  In the end though, I think Rosalie will be the one that makes him see that if Bella is going to love someone, isn't Jasper the best candidate?  The man is uber- professional and protective.  I think Emmett is sure to come around once he cools down.   Remember, he' s known him since college and trusted Jasper enough to guard Bella to begin with.  Again, I more than loved the chapter.  When you update, my voice literally squeaks in excitment while I'm clicking the mouse! 

P.S.  If Emmett comes home at night, hears them and heads upstairs, wouldn't it be some confrontation if Jasper was with Bella when Emmett when in to yell at her for it?!  I'm just sayin'....

For God sake, put the knitting needles away!!!!!!  This story reads like a book capable of being turned into a movie!  I had a bad feeling about Edward's sister showing up just then....I think she's an innocent pawn though.  Imagine having to live with him as a brother!  You did an amazing job with the whole Emmett/ Jasper fight.  It flowed so perrfectly and all the while I had this picture of Emmett's first view of Jasper as he bounced naked in front of his sister.  Too funny!  Let's see, Riley?  That's a puzzle, but  I keep thinking he's involved with Edward somehow...blackmail possibly?  That would make Bella's original ordeal an inside job.  Just puzzling....  Please don't give this story up!!  You really make it work and work well!  Just think Hitchcock!!!  As always, I'm loving every syllable!

Perfect!!!  Then everytime I thought it was slowing down, you kicked it into overdrive: Jasper's rescue went to Emmett fighting with Jasper which moved to an indelibly sexy love scene which moved to Bella screaming bloody murder.  Damn you are so good!  I can't imagine what you have in store for us in Bella's story...but I know it will be brilliant!  Bravo!

This chapter was a bit unique.  Putting rose and Jasper's heads together was brilliant.  Her perspective adds depth to Bella's story.  I loved the Calvin Klein bit in the kitchen with Emmett!  Knowing Kellan Lutz did their ads made me crack up!  I keep wondering...Rose's weight...is it all from overeating?  Just my  mind making interesting jumps.  Your updates never disappoint!  Loved it...and that cliffhanger!

I knew it!  But both of them...I didn't see that coming!  I can see bella missing it, not just because of the birth control, but because it has been my observation that the really brainy types sometime miss the obvious.  I think Bella hormones are doing more than her shrink at this point as far as her mental attitude.  Also, Bella's instincts tell her not to trust James.  I'm a big believer in trusting your instincts!    Oh! Emmett!  He mentioned taking Rose to see Phantom of the Opera.  You could have him write or better yet recite (or sing) in public "All I Ask of You".  "Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime..."  The public aspect would go a LONG way to prove just how valuable she is to Emmett.  He would be taking a huge risk at her rejection publicly, facing possible public scorn, all to let Rose and  everyone else know how much he truly loves her.  The "Grand Gesture", as it were.  Wonderful chapter!  I can't wait to see what you have for us next! 

Nice red herring!!  Is wear I thought that both rose and Bella were pregnant!  Great choice though.  If anything is going to add to Emmett's conviction it will be his and Rose's child!  Let's see, Edward?  I think he's bound to be pissed, but maybe just maybe he'll finally have had a revelation waiting in that basement and decide to help find the guy who's after Bella.  Just a thought....  Mayber he CAN grow as a person as my daughter likes to say. 

While I think what Jasper did was more than wrong, I think it's more than understandable!  Let's see - the man is in love with Bella, she has already been attacked more than once, there have been several death threats,Edward and all he brings with him, his own mother and Alice abused her in her own home and he's still chasing down the psycotic that started this all.  Add to that the holiday season?  Good God, I'm shocked the man didn't snap ages ago!  He needs to make it right quickly though.  One thing that caught my attention, how exactly does alice know Bella might have trouble conceiving?  That makes me more than suspicious!  Stunning chapter!  You never let us down.  Your chapters are always full of action, mystery, and emotional impact.  I swear they're almost juicy!  Outstanding stuff!

Something tells me Bella's instincts are right!  Jasper's mother - you do such a great job making her totally off the wall - needs to get a life!  Amazing, amazing chapter!  But then, you haven't let us down yet!  Sorry it took so long to review, I'm still catching up with things after vacation!

A lemon?  Shoot, you gave us a pitcher of homemade lemonade!  Yummy!  TYhere are so manyu things inthis chapter I love: the way Jasper teases Bella, Rose and Char's comments to Bella on hearing them make love - especially Rose's!  I also love that even when it slows down it's running full throttle!  I'm sorry it took me so long to review!  RL got overly backed up and all my fun was sidetracked!  I-I-I-M   B-a-a-ack!  Thank you for wanting to grab my husband the minute he comes in from work!

Poor Bella!  I found myself wondering what the conversaations would be like if different family memebers answered the phone on Carlisle's end - excluding Edward, of course.  Alice?  Somewhat hyper but very firm and intense.  Esme?  Like a hug and a bowl of emotional chicken soup when you need it!  Emmett?  The tough but protective big brother with a gentle soul.  He'd be ready to take James down with one hand and then carefully carry Bella's broken body home.  Rosalie?  Far more understanding than Bella would have believed.  There for her in every way.  And Jasper?  The warrior, ready to find and protect her, and having done so, help heal her broken spirit.  It makes my imaginagtion soar!  Thanks for that!

I am MORE than looking forward to Bella's reaction when she discovered that Edward is her "savior".  Also, I'm interested to find out what happens next.  I can't see Edward taking advantage of his position, but I would think that in Bella's eyes if she doesn't go through with it she has no right to the money she needs so desperatley.  Interesting conundrum!!!

Damn!  That's a helluva cliffhanger you left us with!  This piece was emotional, so-o romantic and heartfelt and so touching it almost hurts.  You made me cry....and hope.  Thank you!

Damn!!  Now that was an early morning gift!!  The only downer was when I stopped reading to check the clock so I could figure out how long it will be till my husband comes home...AND we have the chance to go here!  But next to him, nobody gives me this kind of smile first thing in the morning!!!  One thing you added here that I swear I've never read anywhere, was the sound and look on HIS face when he was coming.  It was so perfect...and would have been so handy the first time my husband and I made love!  We waited till we were married...both of us...( I must say learning together was an indescribable joy!) and when he finally came for the first time -  Dear Lord, I thought he was having a heart attack!  I look forward to that look and those sounds now...just like Bella!  In case you haven't guessed, MORE please!!

Oh no you didin't!  I say that if Jasper can survive Maria, he can control himself and his reactions here.  Personally, I think our boy is still kicking and hopefully escaping.  Can you imagine the hell he'd raise if he found out he was used to hurt his family!  Bella!  His Alice!   God help her, because the Major would be back in town!  Sneaky, perectly devious plot though!!

Oh, that cliffhanger is way too cruel!!  Not only am I puzzled, now I'm worried about Jasper's life.  Eeek!

Absolutley brilliant...so  inventive I swear I could see the hallway and everything Jasper saw.  It should be interesting to find out what happens when Jasper learns Bella's been "taken" and tricked using what she thinks is him.  When he heals, I think he'll be more than angry!!!  This piece was lovely though and a true testament to absolute love!

Oh now that cliffy was just plain evil!!  A clone!  I love it and as I wrote before, I am sort of hitting myself going, "Duh!!"  Great chapter and I'm looking forward to the next....big time!

Okay, I began reading this story this morning, and read it straight through...Awesome job!  You hit all the emotional lows yet are still  bringing us an excellent mystery in some ways.  So much of Bella's past is a mystery still at this point.  I can't wait to see where you bring us next!  I'm also looking forward to Jasper getting Maria's head and a book of matches.  Think of his jollys!  Amazing job!  Bravo!
