I loved this chapter, and this story becaseu it's from Edwards POV, so much had to be taken on faith in SM's books so I have really enjoyed this.
This chapetr shows us just how much Bella affects Edward in the amount of concern and pain she causes by not thinking of his feeelings until after she has opened her big mouth. Sorry I do like Bella but she was such an ass somtimes.
I also appreciated the need for Edward to let go or the self love as you put it, it's natural and to deny it would be a terrible lie, I saw nothing wrong with it at all.

Always love EPOV and this one filled in so many gaps from SM's Eclipse, really loved it!! Well done. I especailliy liked the mental asides that Edward did not share with Jacob (only with your readers) it confirmed so much of the deoth of love and passion Edward had for Bella and what I thought would have been going through his mind. BRAVO!!

I am really enjoying this story! But I think you need to pay a little more attention to your final edit in your chapters, there have been spelling mistakes, and grammar errors, none that detract from the story but I thought I'd let you know.
The enjoyment Edward and Bella have finally found in their relationship is incredible and heart warming and vindicating. You have done such a great job with the Cullens, my favourite vampir clan. I can't wait for additional chapters!!

I cried my eyes out reading this chapter as much as it was filled with unbelieveable pain there was hope and love at the centre of it all, I found Esme and Jasper to be truly amazing in the little things they did with just small gestures and of course Edward is the epitome of the ultimate mate, friend and lover!!!

Good chapter, but sad in a way Bella has obviously moved on and unfortunately that included Charlie who she really loved, so even though he would have Sue I'm sure he felt the loss as well!!

Yeah, I think that Bella leaving Charlie behind is sad as well. I just thought that in the book they always said that it was hard to remember your human life, and I thought I'd play up to that instead of having Bella remember almost everything, sadly, Charlie came with that.

BRILLIANT! You are a master of detail and subtle remiders of love and dedication, passion and tenderness. Bella and Edward are more then just loveers more then just mates, they touch each others souls and make each other whole. The fact that she can commune with him (or halucinate) while in the bath only proves this connection.
I love Esme in this chapter, she is always in the background in so many stories and here she plays a vital role. Esme embodies the true meaning of what a mother is.

Ah, W my friend, how you tickle me! You so BRILLIANTLY put to words those things that are hanging around the perimeter of my capacity to verbalize, even to myself! I feel like I learn about my writing through your observations..and for that I am every grateful.
I love what you say here about the closeness of their souls...as expressed in the hallucinations she experiences in the bath. On the surface, I suppose, it could be that his voice is just like the other times she experienced it in New Moon. Or even more simplisticly...she's under water again! She even makes that same connection. But there is a big difference... In the prior experiences, the voice comes to admonish her for recklessness, to push her to self preservation, and to operate from the outside, imposing his will. But this time it is different... a simple inquiry, a pulling towards, a playful connection... A game of the soul. She knows deeply he is missing her as much as she misses him...because they feel incomplete when separated.
And Esme...well, she is mother nature, earth mother, and mother of the heart truely embodying what maternal unconditional love can be... Thanks for writing!

I think there is great strength in these characters, and as in life, we show who we are in the moments of great stress. I especially like Sam (even though I am also surprised) as he shows he possesses these true colors. He is the Chief and the leader the tribe and the Pack requires. There is no way Jacob would have been ready or able to lead...like this. The recognition of their tacet acceptance of Bella and Edward's union is another expression of their character.

I have a big problem with Bella being disfigured not that it would mean anything to Edward other than he'd want to make mincemeat out of Victoria and Tanya, but that is just sick.

Didn't see anything wrong with happened to Victoria, it wasn;t the least bit graphic. Actually I found it rather fitting for Felix to have a play thing.
The reunion between Bella and Edward while short was well done.
Set 5 years after Breaking Dawn, the Cullens leave Forks for a new life. However, one of them lapses, putting the entire family at risk. This is not a Jake and Nessie story, and gets quite dark in places. Contains vampire violence.
I was rooted to the spot. I had been a vampire for five years, but I had never taken a human life, nor seen one taken. This story is what originally got me into fanfiction, because I was so annoyed by BD after loving the first three books in the saga. I was disappointed that everything fell so easily into place, without any cost to Bella, after having three books of angst over what a terrible thing it was to be a vampire...
You will see a little more in the epilogue, when I finally pull my finger out and finish it. A lot has changed in the Cullen's lives when we next catch up with them!

Alice is just the right mix of minx, pixie and dictator, great jpb. I'm surprised that Carlis isn't a little more supportive though, he is usually so concerned about Edward's happiness.
All in all this is a great story, and if Edward doesn't get it after Bella is calling out his name in her sleep then I'm going to ask Emmett to kick his ass.

Well your 60 hours of hard work produced an amazingly well written chapter!!!! Kudos for the romance and site seeing the scenes were so vivid and the emotions so palpable, well done!!
The best part though is the dialogue between Bella and Edward that shows that electric connection they have, and the depth of the trust and love that they have for each other.
The sense of fun was inspiring, but 2 things bothered me, why is Edwards beard growing? and does Edward telling Bella the key pad number herald problems in the future?

Your first question: this is something from my canon, based on what I find logical. It's kind of gross, but did you know that human hair and nails continue to grow after death? That's a fact. Additionally, I always thought, 'what if the vamps got in a fight, and somebody pulled their hair out?' They'd be afraid to damage themselves, and I can't see hairs reattaching themselves one by one. So I thought, logically, hair should be able to grow. And yes, they can cut it. It's no coarser or stronger than human hair. Otherwise, how would they fit in, in human society?
The next logical question is, 'is their skin marble-hard and freezing cold?'. No, it isn't. In my canon, it's pretty impermeable and does not damage like a human's, and it's cooler than a human's, but the vamps are not mobile rocks. Imagine bumping into a statue in the school hallway, or letting marble-Carlisle take your pulse. Say Em and Jazz bump fists, with a sound like grating rock. They could never blend.
My vamps are durable. They repair easily, and it takes a lot to injure them. They can however, feel pain and discomfort. If they could not feel pain, they could not logically feel pleasure either.
As to the keypad number, I can't give away all my secrets now, can I?

Edward left Bella heartbroken in the woods a year ago. She tried to move on; she goes to college now, goes out with her friends and tries to have fun. But she is still chased by Edward's shadows. During the day she turns to Jacob, becoming what everyone needs her to be. But as night, when she is alone, the shadows find her.
When Edward returns will he be able to help her step out of the shadows and becoming the person she was truly meant to be?

Then shoot Jake so he can't get in the way and just being a general pain in the ass. In other words hell yeah get Edward and Bella back together ASAP!!!!!!! The yes I do, no you don't, angst drives me nuts and I want to slap them both up the back side of the head...great now you have me talking about fictional characters like their real, must be a sign of exceptional writing!
Just in case you didn't guess I don't like the dog, and anyone that loves Edward the way Bella does would never entertain the idea of a relationship beyond friendship with Jacob, the triangle never made sense to me.

Very despressing...or maybe it was because I was listening to "Heavy in Your Arms" by Florence and the Machine while reading this. I can understand Bella changing she is after all damaged but an underlying persons defining personality should still be there, I guess that is her reference to Bella being locked away proves that. But she can't stay locked up forever sh needs to merge with the new Bella or pieces of her will always be missing and she will never be able to move forward with Jake or Edward.
She needs to realize that Jake is not the sun he is a shadowy representation of happiness manufactured out of what she sees ad his desires and personality and not hers. Obviously you can see I'm and Edward lover all the way, but he is the right choice, Jake will never amke her happy it would be a borrowed happiness, which she cannot repay. Jasper should be able to fell what she is doing to herself and help her and Edward.
OK I'm off my soap box now, seems like you touched my inner twisted psychologist...now I;m miserable that Bella and Edward are going to go their separate ways....god I'm pathetic!!
So kudos on BRILLIANT writing, great way to tie the readers up in knots!!!!!

Damn Kathie I don't like crying in my tea but this chapter is so poignant , I feel that with the Cullens being with Bella it makes the story even sader than SM's version!!!
TheCullens can't help her any more than anyone else, but still they try showing how much they love her, but it only emphasizes the depth of the love she has for Edward and as a result the depth of her pain, how f*cking stupid Edward is!!!!
I don't care about Canon I just want a good story and girl you have it in spades, I like the fresh original approach, with the promise of new revelations and insight into especially as well as Bella and Edward and all the other characters something that SM didn't do often hence the balnk pages in New Moon. I also like that Jake has not taken over her life and manipulated her into an isolated dependency. (Yeah I don't like the mutts)

Now this is the strong Bella I would have expected of course she would be depressed but she had to be angry as well and taking it out on his room is priceless, he better recognize what kind of woman he has in her.
However I don't want her to reject him, that just isn't her, she loves him more than anything, but he should have to grovel a bit and make sure that he recognizes her as his equal. When it comes to making decisions about their relationship they both have to be open and honest and ackowledge what the they think of each other and why.
I'd leave the torture of Edward to his family because they will make him pay!!
I love the determination and strength you have given the characters they are more of what I would have expected!!

Alice and the dance that is going to be so delicious and funny I can see it now the RAVE to end all RAVES go get em !!! The destriction in Edward's room was desevered and she would never trash anything important or irreplaceable, she still loves the man and would never hurt him intentionally.
The destruction she caused is more like her pounding on his chest and yelling at him without him being present, hence she never touched hi Volvo, it has to many memories for her.

I love the Cullens being there for Bella makes so much sense, and Bella finally thinking things through to see Edward is a terrible liar as well.
Love her finding her presents under the floor board, hopefully when Edward gets back there will be a little bitch slapping and get on with rebuilding a healthy realtionship and a lot less angst!!!
Great story, well paced and insightful, Victoria is one psychotic babe can't wait to see how that one ends, hopefully with Edward's hands around her throat.

My heart sored with this chapter Bella is so much better and understands or at least accepts Edwards motivations,...this is how I though she should have been in SM's story how could she believe such a bold face lie from Edward after all they had said to each other. Thank you for a stonger and more reasoning version of Bella.
I love the cookie references and the personal touches of Alice and Rosalie comforting and fighting for Bella, Rose is dynamite and I'm so glad you made her less self centred. Then Esme and Carlisle act more like her parents then Charlie and Renee. And what can you say aboiut Jasper and Emmett except they are the epitome of the big brother gotta love them!!!
I vote for the siblings taking Edward to task when he comes home and Bella, Alice and Rose just verbally bitch slapping him while Jasper and Emmett sit on him. Esme and Carlisle can play clean up and make him take responsibility for his actions.
You have doen a great job of recreating this story and making the characters so human and yet otherworldly at the same time they shine as individuals and as a family. I remember in Breaking Dawn musing about what she looked like as a vampire on the loom of the Fates and felt she might be a bright red or gold, the Cullens are definitely GOLD thanks to you!!!
