Just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying the story - I usually don't review until the end, but I really had to say how hooked I am. You have been rec'd repeatedly by various people on the FB page for 'Sarge's Girls' and I couldn't hold off any longer. (The poor to-be-read list got a shake up, I'm afraid.) ;)
Don't know how you feel about this, but in case you don't mind and would like to know I used Flagfic to get a copy of the story so I could read on my Kindle when I can't access the computer. Everything was fine, I thought, until one day when I came back to the laptop and realized I was not getting the chapter end notes. Evidently, Flagfic is not picking those up as part of the 'story' or chapters. Some people complain bitterly about author's notes and would probably be thrilled - I'm not. I like the A/N's and was disturbed to realize I wasn't getting them. Thought about going through Fanfiction.net, but your notes there say it's been edited. We can't have that! :) Anyhoo, I'll drop a line to someone who works here (an admin I think) and I know is a fan of Flagfic, but I thought you might like to know as well.

EReaders are wonderful things. They bring our fantasy worlds and knowledge and entertainment with us where ever we go. They have one glaring failure in this instance, however. You tend not to review and that's a sad thing.
I recently starting reading this story (and may have to 'acquire' it again from this site as opposed to FFN where I believe I originally got it) and have yet to review. This is due a great deal to the Kindle and partially to circumstance. Some of that circumstance? I haven't wanted to stop and take the time to review.
I'm finding fresh, new approaches with your story though the premise may have been attempted by others. Your characters have certainly captured my attention and I'm enjoying the depth I find in them. Thank you for giving Rose true believability and 'genuineness' for lack of a better word. This chapter was particularly poignant and showed her in an excellent light.
I'm off to continue reading and just had a chance (and wanted) to let you know how much I'm enjoying this. Your story has quite the reputation in this fandom and it is well deserved.

That was terrific! I love how you got so much information into every spoken or descriptive word. Such a great example of how effective economy can be in writing - it's like eating a steak instead of meatloaf. :D The meatloaf is good, but there's a lot of filler.
