Bella is asked out on a date by fellow student, at Seattle University, Jacob Black. She's somewhat eager to go out with him, having felt some kind of physical attractiont to him.

But what happens when she takes down his number incorrectly?

Bella and Edward had an unusual meeting just over a year ago. When Bella took down a friend's phone number, incorrectly, she proceeded to text Edward instead, forming a fast friendship with him and eventually falling in love. A year later and once again their relationship is via text and email as Edward is gaining some valid work experience while helping those less fortunate, in third world countries. Edward has big plans for his return and Bella has a secret which may throw a spanner in the works.
