Glad you're updating again-I've been so worried about Edward in Bella in that cell for sooooo long... ;). I hope Carlise and crew can get out of there also. Just wondering if Jasper is in "seclusion" down there with Bella and Edward? Mayhaps he can go with them to help? Of course, he would probably not go anywhere without Alice. Also, please please tell me that Carlise was smart enough to use Jasper's spunk in the incemination process and that Alice is really pregnant with Jasper's child.
I wasn't like the women in those movies. You know, the ones you catch on the Lifetime network when you're channel surfing over a pint of ice cream at two in the morning? Everything was perfect. My grades were good, my college was paid for, and the future of my dreams was set. Until it wasn't.

I just started this little fic and I absolutely love it. I a nervous about James though- not that I think he would hurt Bella again; more that she might fall for him again- that wouldn't be good. Edward cracks me up... he's so convinced that Bella isn't his type, and that they could probably just be friends... Ya, you keep telling yourself that, Buddy! ;) I am really surprised that Bella didn't tell Alice & Emmett about running into James. I also have to wonder how much time there was between chapters 16 & 17... Bella seemed to obviously know Rose and Rose her- which would mean that the beautiful woman Emmett was with at the restaurant that night must have been Rose and that he's obviously continued seeing her and it's been long enough to meet his friends. However, Bella still doesn't seem to know that Edward is Emmett and Alice's brother... Do they just never talk about him?

Um, hello... he is a doctor, her behavior is so much more than just "hormones adjusting"? And with everything that she has been through in the last 9 months... jeez, anyone would have a psychotic break! Stupid man! Okay... girpes over. ;)

I don't think Edward's punishment was too hard on Bella. Since in the past he gave what he considered less than appropriate punishments, it was nice to see him follow through and give out what he felt was needed. If it wasn't for Bella's history I would think her three days of painting wouldn't have been as big of a deal, but she really can't afford to not take care of herself.
Now, having said that, I would like for Bella to not need to be punished for awhile...it would be nice to see these two have some fun playtime. I think they both really deserve it. And I can't wait for the Oscar's!Ü

I loved this chapter!! It was a long one...sorry you had to write it twice. I couldn't get the pics tho..stupid computer...I love when there is pics in there to see. I thought after a few "hints" througout the chapter that Alice was probably pregnant, but 9 weeks took me by surprise-much further along than I expected. I hope Bella and Edward are soon to follow. And I think they need twins...yep, a boy w/ brown eyes and a girl with green! ;)

Holy Hell... I want me an RV just like that! How fun was that little trip. What a great way to get their minds off of having to wait things out! I totally forgot about the letter after Edward was shot... I knew it had something to do with Bella's biological parent(s), but I was worried that it would reveal that Charlie was not her real father. However, I am surprised that he is, but Renee isn't! WTF is that all about? I know it will be told in the next chapter, but, just wow! How? I am kinda mad at Charlie all over again for allowing Renee to treat Bella the way she has all these years if he has known (obviously) that Renee isn't her mother. Who is? I was thinking Sue, but Harry would've been alive and with Sue at the time. Hmmmm???

With all the connections they have to Hollywood, I bet their Italian Villa and countryside can be created for them to be married. I envision the place they went to by the house in Italy where the had the picnic/outting that day.

This was a fabulous chapter... I am glad that you stopped where you did. I was LMAO at the atics up in Tahoe- at the lake w/ B & E; the guys at the "what happens in Tahoe, stays in Tahoe" party; Charlie's behavior. The party scene was done nicely... I was glad that there was some fun to it- loved the vampire spider vs. bumble bee idea ;).
However, I can't help but wonder just what the hell was said in that letter from Phil... I am thinking that Renee is trying to say that Charlie isn't her real father, or that she isn't really her mother and that Charlie forced Renee to become Bella's mother or something. Renee is such a Crazy Bitch, so who knows!! Hopefully we'll know soon and that once Bella knows she can get past it...

O no! I have this hunch and it isn't a good one: I think that Bella has found out that she may not be able to conceive naturally, if at all, huh? She must have gone to the doctor for her annual exam and asked about conception stuff and the doctor may have had a concern that some thing was not right, the doc probably did tests...and now she has to tell Edward that the only way they might be able to conceive is if they try artificial insemination (if they're lucky) or in-virto fertilization, and that her window of opportunity is closing so that they have to try it sooner rather than later. That would expalin why Bella is worried about "taking the control away from Edward" when he just got it back. Silly, Bella... why when is she ever going to learn that keeping this shit from him is only making it worse!!!!
I hope I am wrong and way off here, but I really think that I may be right. :(

Haha sorry to confuse you, though I thought it was a good call back to the twist in chapter one, locker room and all! It would have been too soon in my eyes. They needed time just to be a normal couple for awhile!
There is going to be an outtake on Dancing. That never fit into my timeline and was just an add for people who wanted some revenge on Emmett. That Practice line might have hinted at something though!

Things seemed to go well at the Cullen's with everybody meeting. I think Renee and Emmett could do some serious damage together if they were able to team up! ;)
At this point I am totally assuming the Cards get into the playoffs and make it to the Super Bowl... I hope I am right!

Even with the warning, the tears came... not just watery eyes, full on tears. But, I am pretty sure they were because of how unbelieveably sweet Edward was. Even with him getting so angry, he was angry because of his love for his mom... *sigh* guh!!! I am not worried...even if it is cancer, Esme will fight it. I am actually a bit more worried about Edward's arm... and this "something bigger" with Bella and Edward that we'll experience in the next chapter.

*hugs* I'm sorry I made you cry. If anything, it made me cry too so I more than get it. I love that you care about them enough to cry. It's a great compliment. He was incredibly sweet. When he asked if he could hold his mom or if it would hurt her I lost it.
Edward's arm is A-OK, I promise. It's his non-throwing elbow and won't be an issue. Edward and Bella's experience will spin out of this and it's something they'd have to confront at some point. I hope you like it!

I had my suspicions that they were "together" already when Bella asked, "“Do you want me to rub it?” because no journalist would be bold enough to ask a quarterback that if they weren't already aquainted.
But, I knew for sure when Edward said..."They’d take their time, memorize every inch of that delectable little package you present, savor all your flavors, before sliding gently into you and making love to you all night long. Does that sound about right, Miss Swan?” and Bella thought, "I smiled; remembering a recent night just like that, a night where I’d felt like a princess being worshipped for hours on end."
I think I'm gonna love this story! ;)

I am glad that Esme is going to be fine. I am not that worried about Edward and Bella... Really, this is the first time that they have had to deal with this type of situation (emotions) since being together and relationships are never perfect-no matter how perfect she may think Edward is... I am confident that they will get through this and become stronger. However, it may get a bit uglier before paradise returns, but think of the make-up sex!!

Bella stood, drenched head to toe, in the middle of her front lawn. Hot tears streamed down her face as the chilly rain pelted her skin. Her mouth was open slightly in shock, as she gazed down with wide eyes at the man she loved more than life itself. Edward's hopeful, joyous face grinned up at her from his stance on one knee. The ring held in his hand was a single brilliant diamond that was simple, yet elegant.
"Isabella Swan, I have been captivated by you since the moment I first laid eyes on you. That love only grew and expanded as I got to know you and saw first hand what a wonderful mother you are to our son. Forever could never be long enough for me, to feel like I've had long enough with you. Marry me?"
She covered her mouth and let out a sob, before throwing her arms around him and shouting, "Yes!"
They fell together, a mass a limbs and lips, their hearts beating both beating wildly. He pulled away slightly and pushed a lock of rain-saturated hair from her face.
"Let's go inside, please. I don't want you to catch a cold."
When they stood, his eyes were drawn to her white shirt, now completely plastered against her bare breasts, her nipples hard and straining against the fabric. His hand reached out to brush against her breast, causing her to become self conscious and cross her arms across her chest. She laughed lightly and nodded her head towards the house.
"Come on, let's get dry."
Edward let out a loud guffaw. "I'd rather keep you wet, love."
His hands wrapped around her waist and he pulled her back to his chest as they tumbled into the house. Sopping wet clothes soon littered the foyer floor and hands roamed greedily.

I won't ever be remembered for my common sense. I know most of you hate me and I'm fine with that. I deserve it. I was a bad, bad girl. For those of you who don't know my story, I'll start at the beginning.
My mother married my father for his money and power. When she'd finally had enough, she left and took half of his net worth, including me. He never seemed to mind. He sent an obscenely large support check once a month, but it always felt like a buy-off. Once he re-married and began a family with his new wife, our interactions were even fewer. Who knows how I would have turned out if he had made more of an effort? He's just as much to blame for my upbringing as my mother is. He knew how she was, yet he still didn't lift a finger to keep me.

The streets were eerily empty as the girl stealthily slipped out of the Beverly Hills house, although one could quite easily exchange the term mansion in its stead. Her shoulders were hunched as she made sure her hood was firmly covering her blond hair, her back laden with only an over-stuffed backpack and a guitar case. She needed to escape quickly, unseen, and today was the best time to make that happen. It was just after eleven pm, on Christmas Eve and there was practically no movement on Santa Monica Boulevard. She traveled on foot for almost three miles before coming across a cab running on the desolate streets.
She quickly stowed her meager possessions in the backseat before climbing inside.
"The nearest Greyhound station, please," she requested as softly as she could, but still within the driver's hearing range.
The older man glanced at her in the rear view mirror. If he thought anything was off about the way she kept her face hidden, he made no mention of it.
"Heading home for the holiday, sweetie?"

Just saw the story featured on TWCS...I love mob related stories and started reading right away. I really like it so far. I love how things just started with a bang. I am hoping we find a bit more about why Edward left Bella so suddenly after their month together. It seemed from EPOV in the second chapter that he still cared a great deal about her (following her for 3 years...can you say obsessed stalker ;) ), but must have had a good reason for ditching out. “What are you up to, Cullen?”
“Just wanna help my girl relax before she goes to bed. I know this has been hard for you and I want to take care of you. Is that so bad?” he asked as he took my hand and pulled me up off the bed and held me tightly against him.
“Mmm, nothing wrong with it at all,” I said as I reached up and placed a soft kiss where his jaw and neck met. “I just have one request though.”
“And what would that be, Sweetness?”
“That you join me.”
“I think I can arrange that,” he said lowering his face and covering my lips with his. Without breaking the kiss, he picked me up and carried me to the bathroom.
Setting me back down on my feet, we began to undress each other, taking our time and savoring every moment as we kissed and touched until we were both bare. Edward had dimmed the light in the room, giving it a soft glow similar to that of candle light.
“No candles?” I teased, leaning my head back, allowing him better access to the spot on my neck where he was currently placing languid open mouthed kisses.
“Nope. Remember you are the only woman who has ever been here. So I am totally unprepared for setting up romantic moments. But you can be sure I will rectify that as soon as I can because I plan to have plenty of them here with you.”
“You’re gonna spoil me, Edward.”
“That’s the plan, Sweetness. Now let’s get you in the water before it gets cold.”

Leaving off that last line until next time would have been awful, terrible, horrible....okay, maybe not that bad...so thanks for not giving me a heart attack. It didn't even dawn on me that Edward would show up...his not being able to talk to her on Skype just seemed a part of him trying to wrap-up his filming. I am glad that he made it home for her.
Now, as far as your computer: There are days when I have to wonder, "and I wanted to have kids, why?" (of course the little shit(s) turn around and do something that brings tears of joy and a heart filled with love.)- I suppose you had one of those moments upon the unsuspected death of your computer where you were wondering, "why?". I love how you are working from the culprits tho...hee hee. Hope you quickly have one of those "awe, I love my kid" moments soon ;).

I soooo would react like Bella at the beginning of the chapter... I would pout and be pissy too- and all because I was pissed I wasn't getting any and nothing to do with the embarassment, which is why I think Bella was really mad ;) .
I sooooo want to do the Route 66 drive (I mean I always have) but I want to see the truck that inspired Tow Mater... who wouldn't? However, I would really want to do the trip with Emmett, I'm Just Saying. I really like how you included the history of Route 66 in the chapter, along with the Oklahoma City Memorial... like 9-11, I will never forget that day and how horrible it was. :(
Also, I haven't read 50shades yet! It's ready and waiting on my Kindle and I CAN'T WAIT! Master of the Universe was one of my first FF stories that I read and will always love it and I can't wait to read it now! I love how these authors are getting to publish their ideas that were once FF stories- most of the stories I read I get so into the plot that "Edward" and "Bella" are just names... even in V&V, you have two really great characters that just happen to be named Edward & Bella.Ü I also can't wait to read Old Wounds and Little Battles... those were also based from a great FF story- dealing with some really hard issues, but so well written that I can't wait to read the books. Ü

The one thing about LRM is that it lets you inside E's head...yes he's def still a virgin, and he's been having nightmares about Bella, he's kind of a basket case right now but trying to hide it. On a totally different note... I am currently betaing two stories by babylou23. It has been my priviledge to to do this and I thought you might be interested in checking them out. I actually fell into the beta position shortly after she started both because I was immediately intrigued and hooked. Please Remember Me's Edward is angry, complicated, and lost- I love him; and Speak's Edward and Bella are nothing compared to Edward's son Anthony!

Emmett is a social butterfly...suffice it to say that he wasn't with Edward at every moment, so Edward was alone when he saw Meghan. It was just a chance meeting. They do speak. Edward is just flipping out about the entire exchange....you'll understand with the next chap. A couple people were worried that he still had feelings for M. No way...he's actually lived in hatred of her for 7 years.

It's too bad that Edward and Bella couldn't really enjoy the Grand Canyon because of all the people... stupid people. I was lmao at the Navajo Kid, Ben- especially for the fact that he is recreating "Myth Buster" (do not attempt this at home) projects. hee heeÜ I am worried that what Bella said to the reporter is going to bite her in the ass somehow. While "Connie" seemed remorseful about her freedom of speech comment- she seemed like the type of person who would forget remorse quickly and twist something up. I also think that while Bella shared with Edward what she said to Connie about Dryden, I doubt she mentioned her "slip" about not being good enough for him... that may make him angry. I guess I'll have to wait and see what Edward was thinking exactly in LRM.
