I promise that I will get the chapters out as fast as possible. My daughters birthday is the 27th but her party is Friday. Then we go on vacation. But there is a light for this story. I'm divorced and my daughter is suppost to go with her dad a week in July and a week in August. So if he takes her and that is a if I promise that I will write the whole time.
I love the clue reference. But I happen to know a few stuck up rich people and they all love to give there rooms fancy names. In my old life I use to have to deal with them day in and day out and they all had a music conservatory. Now I know that most rich people the Cullen's included are not stuck up, but I couldn't stop myself from putting that in there.

I have grandparents from this era and it made me wonder how they loved one another and how they communicated this love within their relationships privately... not in a sick pervy way... but, as you have indicated this WAS a very different time and people were "suppose" to act a certain way; and when you didn't you were labled with a big giant scarlet letter of sorts.

I like the slowness of this story and the tough exterior of Bella---well the one that everyone see's nice facade and all, however, there is definitely a sweet romantic attempting to break out of that shell of hers!
Looking forward to seeing where these two go next! I know you will not comply, however, I am assuming/guessing that Aro and Edward's relationship has more to do with personal issues then business issues... could I be warm at least? And furthermore, is there a possible potential that it has something to do with Bella and something somewhat sleezy that Aro may have mentioned or spoke of during Bella's prior employment years prior with the Cullens?

Thank you very much for the review! I'm glad you picked up on Bella's 'lack of filter', I've been trying to portray her total naivety and innocence and I think honesty is the best way to show it.
Definitely clocking up airmiles at the moment, although airline strikes are doing my head in! Funny that you should mention tropical paradise, I'm off to Cuba Monday morning for a bit of work for a couple of weeks but I've managed to extend it for a couple of days holiday. Still not looking forward to 10 hour flight though. I'd have to agree with you on having few people around, but a couple of days of peace and quiet is such a luxury, I'll just have to grit my teeth and bear with my colleagues for the first bit.

But, alas if I am to suffer, I suppose you should know you did an amazing job... I felt pain and emotional a few times over in this chapter... I get the emotions that Bella is under with the "words" - I may not be in a sub/dom lifestyle, however, I do understand those type of feelings... I think they are certainly words that mean something to even "vanilla" or somewhat vanilla realtionships....

GREEDY HELL!! I'm already FEENING for more... I am going through withdrawls and I've just finished this chapter just a bit ago!
I guess it's a good thing I'm not rich, cause there a few stories (yours included) that I'd be trying to barder with cold hard cash! Course... not sure how hubby would deal with that part; oh well, he'd live either way! (LOL)
I have enjoyed this story since day one... and it's getting really gritty and GOOD!! Honestly, I must be a bit sadistic... cause I've been anxious for this to finally happen! I wanna see what happens... I am guessing/assuming maybe Jacob shows his damn ugly head (okay-okay NOT a Jacob hater, just a Jacob hater for this particular story), along with her parents, hell even her creepy-ass neighbors... speaking of which could it be Mr. James is some kind of sex slave dealer? Seems odd and scary a bit...
okay so anyways... if 'your' Edward ever needs a stand in for a day or two... (I'm jumping up and down waving like a maniac-crazed-obsessed fan... and this Edward... HOT and naughty-just the way I want him in my little fantasy world!) - YUMMM!

“P-pardon?” Bella felt faint. This is bad! This is really, really bad!
Mona looked at her as if she was in awe, “Sit down Bella, you don’t look so well.’’
Bella groped her way to one of the chairs in front of Mona’s desk.
Riley cleared his throat, “Your face says it all. When I went outside to ask the photographers what they were doing here, one of the guys that I have become sort of friendly with informed me that they were not here for me, but for you. It seems that your secret is out.” He raised an eyebrow.
Bella felt her stomach heave. She put a hand over her mouth and ran to the little bathroom adjacent to Mona’s office.
She made it just in time as her stomach was emptied of it’s contents. Bella sat sweating on the floor for a moment with her head leaning against the toilet bowl.
My secret is out? Oh my god! Do they know about what Edward and I are? Have I ruined his career? His life?
Her jumbled thoughts were racing around in her head.
What had she done?
Her phone vibrated as she was rinsing out her mouth. She answered it with a shaking hand.
“y-yes?” she whispered.
“Bella?”
“Edward…” she closed her eyes as she heard his voice. She could feel the tears well up in her eyes and she felt the hot trail down her cheeks.
