Teaser to tickle ur curiosity?

Before I could speak, a flash of blond whipped by me, and instantly, Rosalie was on Tanya. She screeched and snarled in an animalistic manner. The look on her face was one I knew I would never in my lifetime be able to erase from my memory. Pure unadulterated hatred and fury. She pounced on Tanya with cat-like grace and started clawing at her face. Irina moved to try and help her sister, but Alice blocked her with nothing but a stern look that said ‘back the fuck off’. Surprisingly, Irina made no attempt to get past her. She ducked her head apologetically and dry sobbed as the horror before her unfolded.

Chapter 26 teaser:

I didn’t look either way as I darted out into the busy street. I didn’t flinch as the bright lights came at me. I didn’t feel a thing as I barely acknowledged the screeching tires and twisting metal as an oncoming car smashed into my trembling body and sent me flying, landing with a soft thud on the asphalt. My mind shattered on the verge of giving up all together. Darkness swarmed around me, threatening to overtake me. I welcomed it. I yearned for it. I needed it. I needed to drift away into nothingness and get lost in the wonderment of my own mind. I needed to shut down and never look back. Never again to wonder what if. Never again to have to look into Tristan’s heart wrenching eyes as he watched me in horror as my memories of another man filled my mind. Another man’s touches, another man’s kiss, another man’s love. I wasn’t worthy of him. I deserved to die for the pain I would surely cause him. I wanted to die; life hurt too much.

Yeah- apparently, I'm a bit of a jerk, forgive me?

I don't know how I missed explaining that, but the gist of it is, Tristan's blood-line, so to speak. He comes from a very old, the oldest, line of vampire's there are, almost a different breed, if u will. Hence the variation of eye color. Nothing too crazy, I'm afraid.

Teaser to make it up to you?

As I lay there watching Bella’s sleeping form, a huge rush of regret swept over me.

What had I done? Would she hate me for this in the morning?

It didn’t take a genius to know she had been drinking, which likely altered her state of mind and made her make decisions she would likely not make had she been sober.

Would she regret making love to me in the morning? Do I regret making love to her?

No! No, I didn’t.

Suddenly a crippling pain shot through my head. I gasped for unneeded air and clutched my throbbing skull.

My phone began vibrating in my pocket. I ignored it. I fumbled in a half coherent state to slip out from under Bella without waking her and fell into a heap at her bedside.

Thank you so much for your review. Carrie's song was a huge inspiration. I originally wrote this story after hearing it on her album a few years ago. Recently, I went back and added the beginning of the story so readers were able to see how Bella and Edward met. I am. I had to take a short break because I had two books due into my editors by the end of May. One is done and in and the other is 3 chapters away from being complete. Then, I will be able to work on this and all of my current stories.

Thank you so much for your review! Edward and Bella aren't on the story physically. They were mentioned on previous chapters. I couldn't have Edward on the story because he would know what was going to happen to Rosalie and what she was thinking. Remember that there nothing the Cullen's could hide from Edward. That's why I left them out.

it is really hard to believe that Renee can't see that all she is doing is pushing Bella away with her cruel manimulations.  Thank goodness Bella has Edward and I think you are right about Charlie and Grams definately not approving.

It had completely baffled and amazed me how fast Alice, Esme, Rose and I had been able to pull together all the details for my and Edward’s wedding. It had only taken us three weeks to pull it all together. 

Our first task had been to reserve the View Point Inn and the second had been to find my dress. Alice had said that once those two things were accomplished the rest would fall into place. Of course she had been right and after scouring several online sites, looking through every page of every Bride’s magazine Alice could get her hands on and spending a weekend in Seattle combing every bridal shop there was, we had done it. I had my dress and had known it was the one the instant I’d seen it.

There had been a few bittersweet moments along the way though. We had all gone to Seattle on the excursion to find my gown and the bridesmaid dresses. While Alice, Rose, Esme and me had gone shopping for the gowns, the men had gotten fitted for their tuxes and had gone to the college football game at U-Dub.  But when Alice and Esme talked about some of the experiences they’d had while shopping for Alice’s wedding gown, I couldn’t help wishing things were different between my mother and me. I couldn’t help thinking that she should be there with me, helping me choose my dress and taking part in all of the planning of my wedding.  And I couldn’t help but wish that I could at least know that she was happy for Edward and me.

For the most part I had not let what she’d done interfere at all in my life. I was so very, very happy with Edward and I loved him so much.

However there were just times like now, when I was contemplating on whether or not I should send her an invitation that I couldn’t deny how much it hurt. She was my mother and was supposed to be happy for me.

Simple - Alice left after the fight with Carlisle and she moved in with Jasper, but was helping Bella with her pregency. Remember that Emmett moved Bella's stuff to his place so she would be closer, she never got to see her all the time. Sure Alice stayed in contact with her brother but not for a few years. Mackynzie was born before Alice was talking to her siblings again! Hope that helps a little bit :)
