This piece was originally written as a “thank you” when I reached 500 site (not email) followers.  It had been intended as a slightly longer one-shot entitled “The Night Eric Northman’s Life Changed Forever” and would be posted in, yeah, one shot.

It grew.

This is purely all Meridian’s fault.  I was so sick, and this is the only thing that kept playing in my head.  I just wanted to spend the day chilling so I can be better and finish ED.  I am just soo close!

What if Sookie had another meeting that no one knew about in Fairy?  One that when she returned home, she knew more than when she left, if she knew about herself, and about who really loves her?  Where would TB go from there?  Starts In Season 4, no idea how far we will take this.

So, what will Eric Northman do when True Blood is over? How did True Blood even come about? Romantic, Dramatic, and semi-Humorous tale of what could have been/might could be. E/S, Godric is Eric's Maker (naturally!), no vamp Bill, and with some/many elements from THAT BOOK SERIES. This story is definitely AU, and is not meant to be taken TOO seriously.

The mood of this piece is different from my usual style of writing.  It starts off concentrating on Sookie and how things went for her after offing Bill but thereafter it progresses, time-wise, fairly quickly.  It should feel a bit…jumpy.  It’s hard to explain, but know that it should be – for the most part – different from my usual offerings (except that, as usual, an E/S HEA is guaranteed).

For all the Valentine’s Days that have gone…less than perfect. Now keep in mind this story does not take place on Valentine’s Day. BUT there are times when Charlaine Harris wrote characters behaving badly. I would read, shut the book ad think, “is that the reaction I would have had?” More likely than not, it was a resounding, NO!.

Having to read Sookie’s annoying, “I’ll think on it tomorrow” BS. I can't, it’s just too much, am I right? I truly think this is how Sookie would respond in this situation. Let’s see if you can guess where in the series they are. Please read at your own risk. Read that Title, again. ;)

This skips the final episode of True Blood. It never happened. Sookie never mysteriously appeared preggers. Instead, the day after she killed Bill, she left Bon Temps for Shreveport, and has neither seen nor heard from Eric.**

 I was inspired to write this alternate TB ending by a clip of Bill’s wife Caroline (poor thing) and child in one of the many, many…many…flashbacks we True Blooders have had to endure here lately.  So, I wrote it…and then I came “THIS” close to just deleting it because I suddenly decided that it was pure rubbish.  But hey, Bill goes gooey in it, so, yeah, here.  I hope it doesn’t suck too badly…  Expect AU, non-canon, vagueness, and, yeah, BILL GOO.  Enjoy!**

Summary: (Story follows Season 7, episode 4) Sookie knew from Eric’s eyes that he was telling her goodbye, but she’d had enough goodbyes in her life, and she wasn’t about to say goodbye to Eric Northman again-not when she might be able to help him. The only question was, “Would Eric fight for his life too?” (Note: this story ignores Season 7, Episode 5 and beyond.)

Beginning in the middle of Season 3, Uninvited explores a different direction for the TB story following the van incident.  As Sookie lies in the hospital fighting for her life, Eric must pretend to be the ally of his greatest enemy, Russell, in order to save Pam’s life.  What if Russell looks into Eric’s blue eyes and recognizes the young man he saw so long ago?  What if Eric has to run for his life?  Will he leave Sookie behind—at the mercy of Russell and the vampire who almost killed her?  Or will he take her with him? 

I thought that after hearing the news of what is going to happen in the new book I would write what I think / want / should happen.  Sookie magically got smarter in my option and their relationship will get better.  I always thought it strange that Sookie always waited around for Eric to get answers.  Why can’t she pick up the phone or go see him.  This is my take.
