Alec needs to be told that just because he is gay, does not mean he is female. Now if he was transgender, that is a different story. It also does not give him the right to be a spoiled brat. He is an embaressment to the gay men of the world. Renee needs to stand up for her sister, but since she doesn't, at least Edward does. Bella needs a friend and supporter more that anything. She is only 19. She should not have to be so tough. She had to grow up way to fast.

I am seriously hating Renee in this story. Without even knowing what happened with Bella's parents, it is obvious that Tanya crossed the line and Renee doesn't say anything? And no, having Charlie chastise Tanya is not the same thing as Renee standing up for her sister. Even if Bella has no trouble standing up for herself, Renee should still say something. Is she seriously gonna be a doormat for Charlie's family for the rest of her life? I realize that this is supposed to bring Edward and Bella closer but it is deplorable that Renee is sacrificing Bella in order to be accepted by a bunch of snobby bitches. I really hope I'm wrong about Renee and that she turns out to be a stronger person than she is at the moment.

I love the changes you have put into the "classic" characters. Bella can't drive, Renee is trying so hard to fit in to Charlie's family, Edward is sure of himself in work and formal situations yet absolutely under the bar in easy going ones. I love the fight that Bella has within her. It is only for Renee's sake that she will back down. I look forward to more.
